So do not compare Lagos market to China market, even US believe that China market is the cheapest market. I support the banned place on Nigeria ATM Card by Nigeria Government.
It will make Nigeria Government workout way to bring foreign currency to normal value with Nigeria currency.
The way Nigeria money is moving out is higher than the way money is coming in.
Nigeria prefer to school in abroad and others Africa countries than to school in their own country.
Nigeria people prefer foreign material more than their own.
We prefer to even import food than to buy our own food.
Things from outside Nigeria is more valuable than things inside.
If we can minimize things coming in and maximize things going out, then we will see that our naira will gain its value back to 1970s.
If our students stay at home to study, you will see that most of the money spent out the country for education will be minimal.
But since there is now banned on the card, what next?
Since many students are outside the country studying different courses from different countries, then our government should make arrangement for the students to finished their education.
So if Nigeria banks did not agree for their card to be used international, then we should start using foreign card to be making payment. What you just do is to load it with foreign currency and pay whatever you want to pay.
For people who use to buy things:
Most of the foreign countries eCommerce do not accept Nigeria card on their website. So just dump Nigeria card and pickup foreign card to make payment. There are different Nigeria guys or foreign guys who can help you fund your card and you pay them in your local currency.
