PoliticsRe: Osinbajo Receives 2017 Budget From National Assembly by AnitaPhillip: 3:50pm On May 19, 2017
MMMscam:
The 2017 budget is nothing more than business as usual in terms of corruption. Buhari has tried, but you cannot fight and win institutionalized corruption that has become an integral part of the fabric of government and society in Nigeria with whistleblower tactics and selective investigations, seizures and ZERO or negligible convictions for corruption juggernauts and elite criminals. 2017 budget for national development is another usual dead-on-arriva case. I'll begin to take the Nigerian federal government's anti-corruption and pro-development campaign seriously when they scrap the National Assembly and House of Representatives from our government structure. Those organs of government are totally redundant, superfluous and chambers of monumental national corruption. As long as we continue to run them, Nigeria will remain poor. We cannot afford these chambers; they are too expensive to run and do not deliver commensurate value to justify such waste of extreme funds. This budget doesn't prune down the government or extravagant government spending. It literally upholds the status quo and continues to feed the same monster fat that has ravaged this country since inception, the insatiable monster called "Government" that keeps sucking our national treasury dry and "systematically" impoverishing the masses.
So is he gonna sign the budget or not!?

Very touching words from her.
Will Buhari resigning do anything for the country at this time that people don't even know how the economy will be restored?

This government is a confused one sad grin cheesy
You have a point, I mean if Osinbajo can sign three executive orders then why can't he sign the budget? No be same signature and he's the acting-president, right?

I thought they kidnapped WAEC studentshuh
Abi o, maybe they need to tell us why they called her the "Chibok girl". She was still kidnapped, still a girl and deserves all the attention but why say she's a chibok girl when clearly she isn't? https://www.naij.com/1105339-updated-presidency-clears-air-bbog-convener-ezekwesili-faults-claim-newly-re.html
PoliticsRe: There Is High Possibility Of A Coup In Nigeria- Ibtimes by AnitaPhillip: 12:50pm On May 18, 2017
Should Nigeria be involving itself with what is happening in Ivory Coast. According to history, there has not been a coup in Ivory Coast for close to 10 years. The question now is will history repeat itself in Nigeria? The last time Buhari's government was overthrown he was out of the country and now he's out of the country. Hopefully we don't take ten steps back after taking close to 20 steps into democracy
