I believe that the situation in Benin Republic qualifies as an imminent threat to Nigeria's national security. So far, there has been no military deployment to Benin Republic and I believe that the President will seek the Senate's approval if the need arises.

Absolutely! It's clear that the Western media has an agenda.

No ethnic politics involved. Niger was our northern neighbour and the late President Bazoum's father was a Nigerien from the Yoruba ethnic group. There was no way we could not consider our kinship with them. The Yoruba of Nigeria and Benin share a closer cultural and historical bond than the Yoruba of Nigeria and the Hausa of Niger.
