I don't think the connector stuff match Unfaized: This is all you need. Cheers!
Available on Jumia. Got the recommendation here and I have been enjoying it for a while now.
Connect red to red, and black to black. Charge with your regular fan charger. |

Have read that some batteries don't last, I don't want to make mistake CuteMaro: Post battery pics to know the correct voltage configuration to recommend for a lithium-ion battery. They're available on Jumia and cheap too. Mine has done like almost a year now.

The fan is 18inches Unfaized: Is your fan the normal 16-18 inches rechargeable standing fan? What kind of battery does it use and how many volt and ah? You will replace it with a Li-ion battery but you have to answer these questions first and if possible upload a pics of the battery for perfect recommendation.

Boss you still never talk about the charge controller or the person don sell am bassdow: you still don't get. Seriously reading to comprehend shouldn't be that difficult na.
Talk no be about Lithiun vs Tubular battery; that ship has sailed long ago though I fit still talk once once.
The question is, just like Fouani is recommended by default most times, the likes of Valto and mrReed whose been truested to an extent be the default recommendations. Rather than recommending the likes of cWorth except cost of wayBill since both Valto (Delta state) and mrReed (Kaduna) are not in every state.
As for leadAcid vs Lithium based batteries, there are lots of Lithium based batteries not even up to grade C in the market hence any day any time, you're better of with quality leadAcid based battery than a low quality Lithium based battery.
ANother is, even when you got funds for Lithium based battery, there still are few other reasons why some of us still goes after non lithium based batteries. na argument una no fit win other than to fill up nairaland's server's hardDisk with texts.
leadAcid (especially Tubular) got it's pros and cons, same with Lithium based batteries.
To me, best way to keep cycles low is using a solar first inverter, that way, it's not always drawing from the batteries; that's if it's properly sized anyway.
And for those using standard non hyrbrid inverters, just set the float settings of your charge controller 0.6v higher than normal to increase chances of the inverter pulling directly from charge controller; which though not as perfect as with hybrid inverter, still much better than the norm. |

I just wanted to be sure if i get the 2 panels now that it will charge the inverter the 2 panels is just temporary tho will expand soonest Gshems: On sunny days, it might but cloudy days are the problem |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by anna081: 8:45pm On Mar 16 |
Thanks i understand now that the panels with the inbuilt stuff won't be effective during bad weather will get the 2 panels this week and will get the rest next month with the mmp. Thanks once again bassdow: 2pcs of 450w solar panels wouldn't be RELIABLY enough. Earlier we suggested minimum of 4pcs of 450w or 2pcs of 500w solar panels and that's even before you notified us a freezer is in the picture.
Unfortunately, your inverter's capacity can't handle that much EXCEPT you add an external charge controller. It's not about changing battery; it's about your inverter's limits.
Should you go ahead and use just 2pcs of 450w, still would work BUT expect surprises and shortcomings especially on days with average to bad weather |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by anna081: 8:06pm On Mar 16 |
Thinking of getting 2pcs of 450w panels for now add more panels and charger controller later but can 2 panels charge the batteries? my main goal is the freezer. Can the panel charge it fully bassdow: Good thing I requested for this. Now the max solar panels is just 2pcs of 450w. To be able to use more solar panels, you would have to use an external charge controller.
Mind you, you failed to inform us capacity of your batteries. Really tiring when important basic informations are left out.
Let's assume they're 200Ah each hence 24v 200Ah. Either way, just 2pcs of 450w solar panels would struggle to reCharge them reliably; especially since most times, they get used at same time. More like you fetching water to fill a drum but as you pouring the water, someone else is taking out of same drum. You need fetvh faster else it never fills up

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by anna081: 11:17am On Mar 16 |
Thank you boss Will get used cause of cost the batteries are 220 bassdow: yea that's what I initially said BUT glad I requested for the inverter's spec which showed that would not be possible except with external charge controllers.
Alternatively, He/She might have to upgrade to Lithium based batteries BUT even at that, it would be a real struggle; especially with that brand of inverter. in fact even Lithium based battery wouldn't help here. Just buy a new / USEd 60amps charge controller and be done with it.
It's COSTly to be CHEAP most times |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by anna081: 9:29am On Mar 16 |
bassdow: at least 4pcs of 400w or 3pcs of 500w (halfCut) mono solar panels BUT still, to be on safe side, especially since you using a hybrid inverter, would suggest you show us a picture of the sticker on the inverter's body to avoid assumptions. This

I understand now thanks Sheila19: A contract address or CA for short, is like an identifier for a project..
If a project launches newly, most used wallets and Dex's wouldn't have it listed or even know about them, but with their contract address, you can go to your preferred wallet or Dex, and add it as a custom token.. That's why most dex will warn you when adding custom address. Cos they've not verified it yet or stuff like that. |
