The Senate has passed a bill banning evangelism in commercial buses. This bill is a breach of freedom of speech and religion. Preaching in the commercial buses has help many people accept God,especially those that do not value spending time in designated worship places.Banning the commercial buses preaching is another indirect way of persecuting Christian faith as they are the religious organization that undertakes preaching in public places so as to draw souls closer to God.
What is surprising about this, from the Mu_Mu combo in Aso Rock huh

With due respect; I disagree with you Sir. If it's between Nigerians and Tinubu's government, the election will be over before 2 pm on 16th Jan 2027.

But, the truth is that election is between Nigerians and the Judiciary that is been used to cause confusion amongst the opposition; the law enforcement agents used to harass and intimidate oppositions, INEC that is biased and compromised as well as " paid Touts" used to stuff and snatch ballot boxes.
You are not far from the truth, just add APC’s Twitter sympathiser Amupitan’s INEC to complete the task.

Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.

In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.

The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.

Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.

“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”

He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.

“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”

So you are still telling me that it was justified for Yoruba people to support Buhari for 8 years and then supported Tinubu to take over from Buhari but Igbos should take the blame for voting their own...
I've told you, don't you ever in your life blame the Igbos for making Tinubu president, who the hell are you?
So why didn't the south west and the north in return also vote for LP to make Peter Obi president and stop Tinubu from getting there?
Are you saying the Igbos have no rights or justification to vote their choice without getting blamed?

Arguing that Obi’s presidential bid would only work in favour of Tinubu, Soludo said, “Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign, because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP.”

Obi, according to Soludo, would only deplete the votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pave the path for an APC victory.

He stated, “The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years. The South-east has the lowest number of votes of any region, but it is also the only region where the presidential race might be a four-way race (it is a two-way race in the other five regions) thereby, ensuring that our votes won’t count in the making of the next president of Nigeria.

Tribes voted for parties and the SE's 100% rigged votes for LP helped Tinubu get his reward for making Buhari president in 2015, thereby ending 16 years of PDP prosperity, peace and security with cheap petrol, cheap dollars, with less debt burden.

Numbers don't lie.

lexylaw40:
The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, on Wednesday stated that the “President-elect” Bola Tinubu asked popular economist, Prof Pat Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

Akinwale made this revelation while he appeared as a guest on a radio programme on 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, while alleging that Obi received campaign funds from Utomi, whom he described as Tinubu's "son."

The LP aspirant, who spoke in Yoruba language, said "In the buildup to the 2023 elections, Obi who had purchased the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suddenly announced his exit from the party.

"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.

NUT commends Oyo over recruitment of 19,500 teachers

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, Oyo State, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde-led government for recruiting 19,500 teachers in five years.

The union, in a statement signed by the NUT Chairman, Oladimeji Raji and the Secretary, Salami Olukayode, noted that the appointment of 5,000 teachers in his first term and 14,500 since the inception of his second term into the state primary and secondary schools was noteworthy.

The union said the ripple effects of the recruitment were that it would address the problems of inadequate manpower in the education sector and promote teaching and learning.

The statement read, “Your disposition towards turning the tide of the education system of Oyo State remains unprecedented and unmatched not only in the annals of recruitment history of our dear state in recent times but also across the entire 36 states of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory.

“Your Excellency Sir, your achievements in the education sector since assumption of office particularly, on the successful recruitment of over 14,000 qualified teaching professionals and about 3,500 non- teaching personnel, aside from an appreciative number of caregivers is a clear cut and a perfect reflection of your results-oriented style of leadership aimed at providing free, qualitative and quantitative education to the amiable citizens of Oyo State. That means America is a "disgraced" country.

does the us import refined petroleum

Yes, the U.S. imports significant amounts of refined petroleum (like gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel) to balance regional supply and demand. You can explore the exact trade volumes on the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) website.

While the U.S. is a net exporter of total petroleum, regional pipeline logistics and specialized refinery setups make importing refined products necessary. For instance, the East Coast lacks sufficient pipeline connections to the Gulf Coast's refining hubs, making it cheaper to import products from Europe or Canada.Major suppliers include:Canada: The largest source for both crude and refined products.South Korea, India, and the Netherlands: Key suppliers of finished petroleum products to various coastal markets.
If Tinubu’s Nigeria is not a disgraced country then why are we not a net exporter of petroleum products huh

Why has he failed to deliver his promise of reducing imports and increasing exports to create a trillion dollar economy with 50 million jobs?

First of all, gatekeep nor mean gateman 😅.

In street terms, it means "to dey hide update or discourage people from trying to do wetin you dey benefit from".

You may have heard someone say it, or even said it yourself, that if to say na "black man" invent many of the free things we have access to today, na only them and their family go dey use am.

We've seen this with friends, colleagues, neighbours and even siblings sef... One person will get a certain opportunity and will start making some really good profits, but they will deny that that there's money in it, or some will mask their strategy by saying "na God dey help me o".

We scarcely share things for general benefits. Some will even ask you to pay for something that they got for free sef. Why is that?

1. Is it because we had a bad experience in the past when we maybe shared something and they didn't appreciate?

2. Is it because we wan "better pass our neighbor"?

3. Is it because we want people to always depend on us, instead of just teaching them how to fish.

Share your opinion and experience. Also, share your positive experience in sharing "updates" and the reward/gratitude you got from the person you helped.
Is this related to why we do not EXPECT local and state governments to employ enough well paid teachers to make education free for all children, despite the UBEC established by Obasanjo/ Atiku administration over a quarter century ago to help states with federal matching funds for nine years free and compulsory education of all children?

Can we have any meaningful, sustained development without everyone having basic education to be a productive workforce?

Do you know how many times the UPN progressive governor increased tax burden on people to grow the budget by how many times?

Splashme:
The first civilian governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, on Tuesday, said that the cancellation of the Lagos metroline project in 1985 was a major mistake and disservice to many Nigerians.

Jakande spoke in Lagos during the launch of a book which chronicled his life in politics and journalism.

The book, entitled, ‘Jakande: Leadership in Action’ is written by Dr. Bola Olaosebikan, who told the audience at the event that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was not responsible for the cancellation of the project.

Jakande said, “Reflecting on the metroline project, I think it is a major disservice to many Nigerians. Imagine how many people would have benefitted. It would have made life easier and changed the face of transport in Lagos. Whoever cancelled it or gave the advice towards its cancellation didn’t do right.”

The former governor asked Nigerians not to vote for unserious leaders in the coming polls, saying the elections presented Nigerians with a good opportunity that should not be squandered.

Expressing the hope that Nigeria would soon overcome its developmental challenges, Jakande said hope would be actualised faster if credible people emerged as leaders in the next dispensation.

He said, “This book comes at a very auspicious time in Nigeria’s history as we need leaders who can act. We need leaders who would not compromise the standards of good governance. God has blessed this nation the most in Africa, although we have not reached where we should be; with the right leaders, Nigeria would overcome its challenges.”

Can you please open ya mind and let us know why your master strategist has failed to make ordinary water available to Lagos residents after 27 years of increasing tax burden on the people to grow their budget 100 times, thereby setting up a bad example to other states in this basic government utility provision huh

The federal government is not responsible for water supply in cities and towns. This is the responsibility of states.

InvertedHammer:

It is by far better than Enugu.

500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.

But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”

While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.

He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’

This road reconstruction was not conceived by Tinubu administration
They didn’t award the contract
Tinubu government have not spend one kobo on this road yet taking credit

This is an MTN road done with a tax credit
Conceived and awarded by Buhari administration

Don’t get why Tinubu wants credit
The biggest issue is what the master strategist is doing with all the money from subsidy savings, increased revenue for August targets, and even more borrowing than PDP presidents who gave us 16 years of prosperity, peace and security with cheap petrol, cheap dollars, less inflation, less unemployment etc?

TimeManager:
The Federal Government has revealed that the elimination of the petrol subsidy under President Bola Tinubu has resulted in savings of over $84 billion, which are now being channelled into the construction and rehabilitation of 40 key road projects across the country over the past two years.

This was disclosed in a policy brief released by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), titled “Two Years Later: Key Benefits of Subsidy Removal,” and made available to journalists over the weekend in Abuja.

The report, which reviewed the outcomes of the subsidy removal since May 29, 2023, noted that the policy averted a looming economic crisis.

It also enabled the Tinubu administration to clear long-standing financial liabilities, increase capital investments, and support the financial stability of state governments.

Do you think that the master strategist of Nigerian politics is just stealing money to bribe politicians into Oshiomhole’s Assembly of Past Criminals, APC and buy votes from deliberately impoverished extreme poverty paupers who are also poorly educated and barely employable huh

NaijaRoyalty:
…Says Buhari doesn’t have my kind of money

However, Buhari doesn’t have the kind of money I can steal neither does he have the money I can collect. He doesn’t even have the money for Lagos votes. So, whatever I promise, it’s for real and is coming from my pocket. It’s not until I go to Alausa before I get money to give you.”

Addressing APC supporters on the need to deliver votes, Tinubu said handsome cash rewards await those who can deliver votes for the party.

He said he would not make mistakes of the past where people would collect money in advance and not deliver on election day.

Tinubu added, “Those of you that say you come to Bourdillon for mobilisation, it is mobilisation that we are doing here or don’t you understand? Definitely, if you know people in your neighbourhood, our members, how we used to do.

Ofunaofu:
Report: Current Govt Added More Debt in Two Years Than Nigeria Accumulated in 55 Years

• Decries Nigeria’s debt service-to-revenue ratio

•Urges FG to declare fiscal emergency

A new policy brief has warned that Nigeria’s worsening debt profile and weak revenue generation have pushed the country into a dangerous fiscal position, with the current administration accumulating more debt in two years than Nigeria recorded during its first 55 years after independence.

The report, released by the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics LTD/GTE, a Nigerian policy think tank, argued that the country’s debt crisis has evolved into a governance and revenue emergency, as debt servicing obligations now exceed the federal government’s retained earnings.
>
>
According to the think tank, Nigeria’s public debt rose sharply from N87.38 trillion in June 2023 to N159.28 trillion by the end of 2025, with President Bola Tinubu’s administration accounting for about N65.9 trillion of the increase within its first two years in office.

The organisation in the brief titled: “Nigeria Is Borrowing to Breathe—and the Clock Is Ticking”, noted that Nigeria accumulated only about N12.06 trillion in debt from independence in 1960 up to 2015, meaning the current administration added more than five times that amount in just 24 months.

The report stated that while previous governments also contributed significantly to the country’s rising debt burden, the speed of accumulation under the current administration had intensified concerns over fiscal sustainability.

“President Bola Tinubu’s administration has added a further N65.9 trillion in just two years. To put that in perspective: it took Nigeria’s first 55 years of independence to accumulate N12 trillion in debt. The current administration has added more than five times that amount in 24 months,” it argued.

It recalled that Nigeria briefly became almost debt-free externally after the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo secured an $18 billion Paris Club debt relief package in 2005 and paid $12 billion to extinguish about $30 billion in external obligations.

Those who wail about terrible roads after eight years of APC’s Buhari are doing it because they want Remi Tinubu to put akara in their mouth to stop wailing about hunger in the absence of promised jobs for earning a living in dignity on the basis of 70k minimum wage.

Are you one of those who got the 50 million jobs promised by the master strategist of balablu bulaba progreThief politics huh

Any idea how we can repay the huge debt of Tinubu, if he fails to deliver on promises of jobs?

APC is truly All Promises Cancelled.

Mad people everywhere
Why won’t wise people focus on the pretender who is forming saddened about the death of a woman who he probably doesn’t know? Did anyone ask him to invade our public space with his sadness? Are you the one who asked him to do that huh

You are very correct that your naive Obi has dealt with every Nigerian due to his mumuness in the desperate pursuit of power. The mumuness that he first exhibited in 2014 when he tried and failed to be Anambra godfather to Obiano, like Tinubu in Lagos. Smart Obiano easily kicked him out of their regional party APGA and made him a homeless politician until Atiku rescued him in 2019 from the IDP camp.

Obi’s naivety indirectly helped Tinubu grab his own turn to worsen APC extreme poverty and insecurity shege in 2023! He has embarked on the same useless journey with Kwankwaso, the new Utomi.
