DeclanR: But why can't these Tiv guys man up and confront these Fulani killers? I know how aggressive and strong Tiv people can be, naturally.
They even have strong charms that can nullify the activities of these Fulani killers
Please understand that in APC lingo, there are no Fulani killers.
The leader of the only group that kills Nigerians is in Sokoto prison, while Jagaban of Borgu is looking for cows with his Fulani brothers. The ones he sold out Yoruba No. 4 slot to in 2011.
anonimi: How we foiled Jonathan’s effort to make Mulika Adeola Speaker, Akande reveals
AS president in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan did all he could to ensure South West grabbed the country’s number four seat, including lobbying then opposition leaders from the zone, to no avail. The North West eventually grabbed the seat, supported by South West leaders in opposition to then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Former Governor of Osun State and now statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, made this revelation in his autobiography, “My Participations” which is currently dominating political and national dis- course.
Aminu Tambuwal, now Sokoto State governor, won the seat, against the preferred pick of his party, Mrs Mulikat Adeola Akande, from the South-West. Defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, then a fledging opposition, which had Akande and his soulmate, former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, as front- line leaders, openly asked its elected members of the House of Representatives, mostly from the South-West, to work against their region and back Tambuwal from North-West.
The opposition party’s support carried Tambuwal through the contest against Akande, then ruling party’s favourite for the speakership seat.
In his book, Chief Akande revealed that former president then as incumbent, personally reached out to Tinubu, who is now believed to be nursing presidential aspiration in 2023 and himself, but couldn’t convince them.
He wrote, “President Jonathan, immediately after the meeting (with political parties), called Bola Tinubu aside into a lobby to broach the matter of ACN support for a choice of who would become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“That same day, President Jonathan talked to me on phone about the same matter. He disclosed that PDP had zoned the position to the South-West but that only one Muraina and another Mulika won elections on PDP ticket from the zone into the House of Representatives.
Willy2025: But why this orgy of violence suddenly on the increase?
What are the state governors doing with the billions they are receiving monthly? Can't they use some of it to arm their people? If the Fulanis can source for arms illegally, they can use the same channel to arm local vigilantes too. I strongly believe all these governors are very incompetent. I seriously miss the late Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu.
Were state governors not receiving billions monthly when all eyes were on Jonathan 11 years ago, as APC leaders looters fought for and grabbed power to end 16 years of PDP's widespread prosperity, high employment, less insecurity, less debt burden etc
Was Shettima competent as Borno governor back then?
zinaunreal: They never want to kpai in naija And they want us to stay here 😆 Even this useless Tinubu will not kpai in naija Wike won't . Just like rubbish buhari didnt.
All of them will be shipped back like useless carton, not even in gold , silver or glass . Cheap carton or cheap wood 😆 Shame. You steal money but want to be shipped back to be buried in a country you have nothing to show for but theft. You want to be buried in dignity? Did someone say dignity? 😆Throway that man inside hole make we hear word
It's quite sad how we critique oyinbos for racism and under-developing our continent but end up stashing stolen wealth with them in Pandora bank accounts and properties, while pretending to be fighting corruption at home.
The worst case is the city boy who claimed to have ended corruption in May 2023.
thewinning101: PANDORA PAPERS: Buhari visited Tinubu in corruption-tainted London villa acquired by Oyetola
Governor Oyetola, a relative of Mr Tinubu, may have sabotaged his own country by buying the exotic property as Nigeria made to seize it.
ByNicholas IbekweandTaiwo-Hassan Adebayo October 7, 2021 in Headline Stories, Pandora Papers Reading Time: 8 mins read
It was a meeting of two of Nigeria’s most influential politicians in London – President Muhammadu Buhari was visiting political kingmaker and senior member of his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
In July, the presidency announced that Mr Buhari was heading to London for an education summit. The office also added that the president would also see his doctors for “medical check-up”.
Coincidentally, Mr Tinubu, who had travelled to London earlier, was also receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the British capital. So, a perfect setting for both men to meet was created.
TrainPark: His best private sector experience was in chicago and it is well reflected in Lagos and in Nigeria!
The Chicago private sector experience documented by Reno?
Well reflected in Lagos and Nigeria through higher taxes, subsidy savings and huge debt burden that is not matched by improved government services and utilities from well paid civil servants?
Or well reflected in balablu propaganda lies of phantom achievements
Holluwhakemmy: stop bitter politics the same way you criticized Buhari during his regime because he wasn't your candidate, any president that is not from your tribe become useless to you people. What else you people want? Your messiah candidate won't smell Aso Rock comes 2027.
Your enemy president remain there till 2031 and go back to another Northerner.
Why do you think I am not a Yoruba or even a northerner
Is it because I am not a tribesman like you, but focused on governance outcomes?
UTILITYMAY: Lagos is working others are complaining. Keep hating ooo.
Na so oh.
Lagos is working with shithole water for residents, even in posh Lekki despite paying so much taxes, levies, fines, rates etc to raise the budget 100 times in the last 27 years of a-looter tax master plan of the JagaBandeet.
Who is fooled? Who is allowing himself to be fooled?
What is remarkable, impressive and indicative of tomorrow being here if all Enugu children are not able to attend such schools with enough professional teachers?
What is the % of Enugu schools like this? What is the % of Enugu schools that are run by government
Apart from bureaucratic bottle necks, which I presume a smart person can find theur way around and push forward new ideas.
I also know that inefficiency is the enabler of corruption, so may be the corrupt system will frustrate any effort to eliminate the inefficiency.
Why has city boy’s private sector experience failed to translate into excellence in governance for the past 27 years in Lagos State, and for the past three years at the federal level
HacheNoire: From your OWN rhetoric, why as His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) not also prosecuted if he was guilty?
You said His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) did not create jobs as Governor? Do you reside in Lagos? You couldn’t even attribute the simplest to him?
Hot Google please! His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) created MASSIVE employment opportunities in Lagos.
Tinubu was prosecuted by CCT in 2011 and freed in error.
How has he created massive employment opportunities in Lagos for the past 27 years, if he has less than 5% schools run by government
Maybe you are confusing palliative daily bread sharing with massive employment?
Are you also getting your own daily bread palliative in the absence of jobs promised by JagaBandeet
Tinubu sets 3-year economic revival, 50million jobs target
August 29, 2023
President Bola Tinubu who reiterated his commitment to economic revatalisation said he will not permit indolence or any act capable of derailing his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ by any of his ministers.
He gave a marching order to the 45-member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to perform or be ready to be fired for incompetence. @ @ Edun said the Tinubu administration inherited a bad economy with an *unacceptable high rate of unemployment, and with inflation standing at 24%.*
He said:“Per capital has fallen steadily, inflation is at 24 percent, unemployment is high, you know m are rebasing the way in which it’s calculated. Either way, it is high and youth unemployment is even unacceptably high, these are the key metrics that we have met.” @ @ Edun said: “Clearly, *the Federal Government is not in a position to borrow at this time*. Rather, the emphasis has to be on creating a stable, macroeconomic environment. Stable inflation, stable exchange rate, an environment within which people can come and invest and thereby increase production and further grow the economy; Improve and create jobs and reduce poverty. @ @ Anite said President Tinubu was planning to create 50 million jobs.
She stressed: “In Mr. President’s manifesto during his campaigns, he promised 50 million jobs and that’s our target. We will take it in phases; we are looking at different sectors of the economy that will contribute to this job creation chief among them is the creative industry and the digital economy, and then the agric sector, agro-processing zones, and mining, oil and gas. So we’re very confident that we will achieve this.”
anonimi: The eyesore on Bourdillon Road 2nd January 2025
Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.
If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.
That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.
Atiku and other opposition leaders should ask Dino to zip up.
He is not a good poster boy for the rescue mission that they claim, with his loud, nonchalant display of wealth in a country that leads in global extreme poverty.
HacheNoire: Just like Atiku got to work during his 8 year term as vice president!
Atiku’s friends should tell him the truth. He has no patriotism, dignity, transparency or ethics to sell!
He shouldn’t be campaigning if he had performed as a vice president. Spent 8 years looting the treasury and still has the audacity to tell His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) to get to work.
This is the height of hypocrisy! The lowest the most incompetent can go.
Atiku should realize that, Portable has more right to address the president in such manner than he does.
If Atiku looted anything, why did Obasanjo not prosecute him during his second term when he dealt with Fayose, Alams, Ladoja etc despite their immunity?
If your allegation is true, then why did Yar’Adua and Jonathan of PDP fail to prosecute him? Since 2015, why have APC corruption fighting saints Buhari and Tinubu failed to prosecute him?
In any case, Atiku can’t be anywhere nearly as corrupt as the city boy who steals trillions Lagos budget yearly instead of employing workers to make education free for all children and water available for all residents.
Atiku is definitely not as corrupt as this president who is borrowing more than Obasanjo/Atiku borrowed, even though he has saved billions of dollars from removing subsidy and lies about stopped borrowing since he hit his higher revenue target in August.
ColdHunter: Pablo should just do the honorable thing and resign.
His incompetence and lack of empathy is startling.
While I personally didn't expect much from him, his lack of preparedness is an eyesore
His lack of empathy has always been there, but masked by balablu soundbites. The lack of empathy demonstrated during his 10 minutes Jos airport visit in darkness.
The lack of empathy is also demonstrated in crazy looting of not just taxes but even loans, including the $3.3 billion SPV Afreximbank loan that was supposed to help him get to N300/$1 in the short term before reaching N200/$1 by May 2027.

CodeTemplar: Not just in security aspect. Hollow rhetorics like posting Lagos or Calabar section photos of a 700km road. How many KM have you done? If you need 36% of the available time(8 years) to complete 10% of the job, you might as well need 6 or 7 terms (28 years) to reach Delta state.
Don’t mind the city boy propaganda expert.
Are we supposed to use pictures of the uncompleted road to get expensive petrol and other things that have become unaffordable, because JagaBandeet failed to crash petrol price and dollar rate, as he promised before he was allowed to hit the ground running 35 months ago
yarimo: Those that picture show where David mark is registering as ADC member? You guys will just post without anything in your brain
You must be the one without anything in your 🧠 since you are stuck with a promise and fail clueless leader looter.
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
iwaeda: Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.
In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.
The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.
Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.
“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”
He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.
“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”

Kambols95: Why does everything bad goes around Wike these days?
Can it have anything to do with Sheriff’s curse of a few years ago
anonimi: No room for Wike, Fayose in PDP again —Sheriff
Also reacting to the judgment, its apparent beneficiary, Senator Sheriff, vowed to put in place a machinery that would not give room to people like Governors Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose of Rivers and Ekiti states, respectively in any future arrangement in the party.
“I will engineer a restructuring of PDP such that characters like Wike and Fayose cannot find a way through to attain any position of prominence in our party in the future. They have brought shame and agony through the application of their crude and godless politics which is at variance with the principles upon which our founding fathers built our great party.
“We must find a way to sieve things so that only men of character and integrity can come through for positions of responsibility at all levels of our political engagement in the country.
“We must urgently steer the ship of PDP clear of the path of infamy which Wike and Fayose has brought our party, making Nigerians to mistaken PDP as a training ground for thugs. That is the urgent task we have. We cannot continue to advertise thug brand and expect Nigerians to take us seriously,” he said.
honestivo: Wike can't apologise, he is the national leader of apcpdp, he gives command and even the presidency obey
You are spot on about this minister who prefers to build houses for judges than pay salaries to teachers.

Putinofrussia: President Tinubu as a governor then, initiate, built, and commissioned several Millennium Secondary Schools during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State (1999–2007). Notable examples initiated to improve educational infrastructure include the Abibatu Mogaji Millennium Secondary School in Agege, Bola Ige Millennium Secondary School in Ajeromi, and Babs Fafunwa Millennium Secondary School etc.
The schools were even constructed during a period when federal allocations to Lagos State were withheld. He also undertook widespread rehabilitation of schools, providing science equipments and paying WAEC fees for all students which he introduced in Nigeria together with the millennium schools. No state has ever done most of what Tinubu initiated but they have all copied him now which is for the growth of Nigeria generally.
How does all this story add up to having every Lagos child in free schools with enough well paid teachers and other staff, which progressive Jakande achieved in four years without taxing the poor needlessly
Why is it so easy for him to get away with this behaviour repeatedly

How can ordinary people work together to save our democracy and the political system from collapse due to Tinubu’s life president ambition, since we are the biggest beneficiaries of a country that is governed well
