Mindlog: "Where is the Tinubu who protested and won against bad governance back when I was still in diapers? Where is the Tinubu who fought OBJ and made Lagos a haven?"...😂😂😂😂
How did he make Lagos a haven, if houses are not supplied with water and children are not attending free schools with adequate number of well paid teachers
NaijaHelper1: Propaganda and people feeding a narrative. We're hearing about Iran's strides as if it's a heroic news that people who were going about there day died for nothing. It's just like the US(Ukraine) and Russian war. Everybody believes Ukraine is winning yet Ukraine has just 27 million people left of it's population with a population growth of just under 0.7 percent and a massive destruction of its infrastructure that has left massive portions of the country a wasteland. Stop giving relevance to any of these parties. War is very bad. Try and have sense.
CodeTemplar: The usual suspect have done it again oooo.
The usual suspects, whose leader is in Sokoto prison, while city boy is paying his northern brothers to look for cows and release kidnapped school children
Has the promise below also passed for Stockholm syndrome sufferers, who have chosen to perish from lack of knowledge and history
anonimi: Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC
January 19, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.
On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.
But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.
It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.
LibertyRep: That is also an option to consider, if the Gombe man would be placated and tag along.
They failed at the most critical part of the assignment.
...and are still doubling down, instead of admitting responsibilities for their mistakes.
They can move to any other willing SPV before the gate is closed by the umpire.
How do you know that the story of the Gombe man is true, rather than a contrived afterthought
REWIND: In July 2025, Nafiu Bala attended ADC unveiling of David Mark-led leadership
On July 2, 2025, Nafiu Bala, the factional acting national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), was among the stakeholders who attended the party’s unveiling of the interim leadership of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola.
The event took place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The event was attended by many politicians, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar; Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP); Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna; Rotimi Amaechi, former minister of transportation; Emeka Ihedioha, ex-deputy speaker of the house of representatives; and Ireti Kingibe, senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Others were John Oyegun, the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Abubakar Malami, the former attorney-general of the federation (AGF) and minister of justice; Dino Melaye, former Kogi west senator; Solomon Dalung, former minister of sports; Aisha Yesufu, an activist; Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation magazine; Enyinnaya Abaribe, senator representing Abia south, and Gabriel Suswan, former governor of Benue.
At the event, Bala was introduced by Lauretta Onochie, former presidential aide, who co-moderated the programme, as the ADC deputy national chairman, intergovernmental affairs.
Gombe stood up from his seat to acknowledge the introduction.
The introduction can be viewed in the 14:03 section of a video posted by Symfoni on July 2, 2026
datola: What was approved in 2024 is now just being disbursed.
Like the revenue target achieved last August to stop borrowing, will be realised two years later in 2027, and recycled for another two years in 2029 and so on and so forth forever ♾️♾️♾️
Azazyel: Yeah you're correct. We're in the hands of a political terrorist and an agbero for that matter. One thing I can assure you is that what Tinubu is doing would be child's play compared to what we would face if a religious extremist grabs power. Nigeria is not gonna overcome terrorism anytime soon because it is big business and a political tool which Tinubu himself has a hard time dealing with. Remember how they made Jonathan's regime filled with violence, this is exactly what Tinubu is suffering. He joined hands with terrorist sponsors in the name of politics and now he is collecting. This is what Nigeria politics have become. Too much bitterness. The next president sef go collect his own except he and his appointees are very determined to overhaul the system. These politicians have soldiers under their payroll and these soldiers help to destabilize the country. Same with police. Even the religious leaders are involved. This is how corruption can cripple a nation. It is better to be under the British colonial rule than this shenanigans. If you look at Many of the candidates across parties, you can hardly pick any who is corruption free. That's the sad reality of Nigeria. Don't support Muric for anything. They are never happy when Christians hold powerful positions in government and that is religious intolerance. Do you know there are terrorists who have become governors, LG chairmen, ministers, traditional rulers in Nigeria? When last did Muric speak against them? Even the ADC you guys are supporting, if you open your eyes well, terrorist sympathizers are there and very corrupt people. They don't have your interest at heart. They are only trying to use the suffering of Nigerians to achieve their personal aims.
Reminds me of Saddam Hussein who made balablu noise about the mother of all wars but was picked up in a rathole, with American chocolate and a pistol, which he failed to kill himself with.
It’s in Sokoto prison while the president is looking for cows with the help of kidnappers and terrorists who he negotiates the release of hostages with.
500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.
But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.
rickpat: This people no wan rest oo...this fight taking too long, fuel price wan choke person die...abeg make the fight no pass this week..nothing concern me with iran and America
If nothing concern you with Iran and America, then why are you complaining about fuel price?
In any case, relax and fọkàn balẹ̀ as city boy does what he promised three years ago.
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
Thedon22: All existing roads are receiving attention as new roads are built. Lagos Sagamu road, Lagos - Ota road is under rehabilitation. ISamebis going on all Federal roads. Obi can't believe that someone can do old roads and new roads at the same time. He finds it unbelievable. Shoe get size.
That's why Tinubu is a genius. Obi is a boy!
Tinubu is a genius in looting while Obi is a boy in looting, hence why Lagosians are drinking shitty water after giving city boy trillions yearly for 27 years.
anonimi: The eyesore on Bourdillon Road 2nd January 2025
Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.
If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.
That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.
Vixlot: President Bola Tinubu is the Best President in the History of Nigeria
You are so right.
How many pictures of the road are you using to pay for expensive petrol, because Tinubu failed to crash the price as he promised in January 2023, before he was allowed to grab power and run with it cluelessly like a headless pig 🐖?
chisomkachy: The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has withdrawn the alleged money laundering suit it filed at the Federal High Court against Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa.
Naija News understands that the anti-graft did not give any particular reason for its application for withdrawal.
Following the application to withdraw, Justice Nicholas Oweibo discharged the ‘lien/Post No Debit’ placed on Obasa’s three accounts in Standard Chartered Bank.
The accounts are (US Dollars) 0001852063; (Current) 0001852056 and (Saving) 5002309624.
The judge also set aside the ex-parte orders he made on September 15, 2020, which led to the freezing of the accounts.
Recall that the court on September 15, 2020, granted an interim order freezing Obasa’s accounts following the EFCC’s application in a suit marked FHC/LCS/1064/2020.
The agency had said it was investigating the Speaker for the alleged offences of conspiracy, diversion of funds, abuse of office and money laundering.
But Justice Oweibo, on August 16, 2023, heard the application to unfreeze the accounts in his chamber.
During the hearing, the EFCC was represented by Mr. Sulaiman I. Sulaiman, while Obasa was represented by Mr. Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN).
The EFCC lawyer told the court that the application to unfreeze the accounts was pursuant to Section 44(2)(K) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and Sections 26, 29 and 34 (1) of the EFCC (Establishment) Act, 2004, and under the court’s inherent jurisdiction.
Section 44 of the Constitution concerns constitutional rights to property.
Justice Oweibo held: “It is hereby ordered that an order is hereby granted to the respondent/applicant setting aside the ex-parte orders of this court made on the 15th day of September 2020 upon the ex-parte motion of the Applicant/ Respondent in relation the funds of the Respondent/Applicant domiciled in the accounts stated in the following schedule:
“ACCOUNT NAME, FINANCIAL ACCOUNT INSTITUTIONS, TYPE OF ACCOUNT, 1. Mudasiru Ajayi Obasa, Standard Chartered, (US Dollars) 0001852063 2. Mudasiru Ajayi Obasa, Standard Chartered (Current) 0001852056 3. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Standard Chartered (Saving) 5002309624.
“Issued at Lagos, under the seal of this Honourable Court and by the hands of the Presiding Judge this 16th day of August 2023.”
aworatak: Imagine the outdated 80’s style structure this clueless governor is using in the 21st century despite borrowing billions for the project.
Enugu people have entered one chance.
Like 200 million Nigerians have been stuck in one chance since 1999 with all the governors, who have failed to make ordinary water available to all households

Jagaban2012: How I wish Muric could use the same energy to write about the killing in Benue and Plateau State...
The killing is religiously motivated...
How can it be religiously motivated when their leader is in Sokoto prison while the president is negotiating with terrorists, kidnappers and bandits to help him look for cows 🐄?
Azazyel: So he must go because he exposed you people? No way! I prefer to be in the hands of Amupitan than in the hands of any terrorist.
Anything that makes Muric unhappy is what I'll support
Are we not in the hands of a terrorist in Aso Rock now
EkoIle1: It is now abundantly clear that President Jonathan has finally bared his fangs confirming what was widely speculated. By declaring a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, he has intimidated and emasculated the governors of these States. We are witnessing a dangerous trend in the art of governance and a deliberate ploy to subvert constitutional democracy.
The body language of the Jonathan administration leads any keen watcher of events with unmistakable conclusion of the existence of a surreptitious but barely disguised intention to muzzle the elected governments of these states for what is clearly a display of unpardonable mediocrity and diabolic partisanship geared towards 2015.
Borno and Yobe states have been literally under armies of occupation with the attendant excruciating hardship experienced daily by the indigenes and residents of these areas. This government now wants to use the excuse of the security challenges faced by the Governors to remove them from the states considered hostile to the 2015 PDP/Jonathan project.
Let me be quick to say that this administration will be setting in motion a chain of events the end of which nobody can predict. Experience has shown clearly that actions, such as this one under consideration, often give root to radical ideologies and extremist tendencies, a direct opposite of the intended outcome of unwarranted and unintelligent meddlesomeness. The present scenario playing out in the country reminds one of the classical case of a mediocre craftsman who continually blames the tools of his trade for his serial failure but refuses to look at his pitiable state with a view to adjusting.
It has become crystal clear, even to the most incurable optimist, that the country is adrift. That the ship of the Nigerian state is rudderless is clearly evident in the consistent and continual attacks ferociously executed by elements often referred to as the insurgents in some northern states of the federation, particularly Borno and Yobe states respectively.
Indeed, no part of the country is immune from the virulent but easy attacks, veritable indices of a failing state. Unfortunately, the tenuous and uncoordinated approach adopted by this government betrays a grossly incompetent disposition which stands at variance with current realities in the country, nay the international community where acts of terrorism are engaged and contained. No Governor of a state in Nigeria is the Chief Security Officer. Putting the blame on the Governors, who have been effectively emasculated, for the abysmal performance of the government at the centre which controls all these security agencies, smacks of ignorance and mischief.
