bennybuhari: “’I cannot take anything back about Obi. I said Obi said he wants to move Nigeria back from consumption to production and I said that is not true. He cannot do it because his own business survives on consumption. Is that a lie? He has been an importer and I said he deals with cash and carry economics; container economics, imports”.
“All the goods that can be produced in Nigeria, Obi imports them in his supermarkets. That is consumption economics. That kind of person cannot tell you that he is moving you from consumption to production. He will then be committing self-economic suicide and Obi will not do that to himself”.
“So, Obi is deceiving everybody and I can’t take that back because that is true.
Kobojunkie: 1. Have you seen the average Nigerian parent before? They are themselves corrupt entities who are all too willing to take bribe, cut down their neighbor for their own benefit, etc. So, how do you expect those same to teach their kids that stealing is bad or corrupt?
2. I am sorry to tell you but what you already see of Nigeria reflects the quality of informal education obtained from upbringing and society combined in Nigeria even today. And if we are honest, we can at least admit that Nigerian parents are doing a very terrible job raising their kids and changing society. Formal education can actually go a long way in countering a lot of that, however, corruption stands in the way of providing the people with beneficial formal education.
What examples are elders who delete posts for their tribal olodo candidate setting
Kobojunkie: .... @Poster, he is doing exactly what the people elected him to come do again. I mean for a man with meagre list of accomplishments during his first time, why else would he had been re-elected if not to continue the same?? undecided undecided undecided
PROUDIGBO: ^^^I'm trying to, but i can't fault your reasoning.
aariwa: Peter Obi have always consistently addressed those basic issues that affects the common man in Nigeria for more than 4 years now, while the man that claimed he won election have been clueless about the country’s problems for more than a year now. How can you solve a problem when you don’t really know what it is or where it is coming from? Can a doctor start treating a patient when he doesn’t know the disease like tinubu is doing now? This is the reason why I believe that even if you give tinubu 40 years , he can never fix Nigeria but make the country worse. A new Nigeria is possible with Mr. Peter Obi
Tinubu won with the help of naive Pandora Bitter Obi. So naive that Obiano ran the wannabe godfather out of their APGA regional party, before he took refuge in capitalist PDP, only for the unstable character to jump into the communist LP labourers’ camp.
jameshankss: Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has said he is sure the candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, would lose the 2023 presidential election. Soludo said he would not submit to the bullying of Obi’s supporters, who recently descended on him for addressing issues in the state.
The governor made the comments in a lengthy write-up personally authored, with the title, “History Beckons, and I Will Not Be Silent (Part 1).”
Soludo said Obi was inadvertently making the pathway to victory much easier for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and at the same time, toying with the destiny of millions of Ndigbo.
But the chief spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign, Yunusa Tanko, accused Soludo of being sponsored by some unknown persons to weaken the base of the party in the South-east.
The former CBN governor had been under intense attack for close to a week for dismissing Obi’s investment in the state as amounting to nothing, during a television interview.
Soludo said in the write-up, “My attention has been drawn to some of the tirades on social media following my frank response during an interview on Channels TV regarding the ‘investments’ Mr. Peter Obi claimed to have made with Anambra State revenues.
“Sadly, several of the comments left the issue of the interview to probe or suggest motives, inferred from my response on ‘investment’ that I am opposed to Peter Obi’s ambition and, therefore, committed a ‘crime’ for which the punishment is internecine abuse and harassment, even to my family.
“Everyone knows that I don’t follow the winds or one to succumb to bullies, or shy away from a good fight especially, when weighty matters of principles and future of the people are involved.”
Soludo said he had urged Obi to return to his former party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to actualise his presidential bid. He added that he had always told the LP candidate to his face that he was not capable of winning the 2023 presidential election, especially, under LP, which had neither a councillor nor a local government chairman.
Soludo said Obi was not just his friend, but also his brother, but despite that, they have their political differences.
He stated, “For full disclosure, let me state that Peter Obi and I are not just friends, we call ourselves ‘brothers’. But we have political differences: he left APGA for PDP after his tenure as governor, while I have remained in APGA since 2013.
“During the last two governorship elections in Anambra in 2017 and 2021, he led the PDP campaigns but APGA won landslide in both elections. By the way, in 2016, he visited and proposed that I defect to PDP and contest the 2017 election against the incumbent Willie Obiano, but I declined.
“After my victory in November 2021, he called to congratulate me, as I did to him in 2010. That is the Anambra way: we fight fiercely during campaigns but share drinks at the next social events. After all, it was the Great Zik of Africa, who taught us that in politics, there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies but only permanent interests.”
Arguing that Obi’s presidential bid would only work in favour of Tinubu, Soludo said, “Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign, because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP.”
Obi, according to Soludo, would only deplete the votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pave the path for an APC victory.
He stated, “The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years. The South-east has the lowest number of votes of any region, but it is also the only region where the presidential race might be a four-way race (it is a two-way race in the other five regions) thereby, ensuring that our votes won’t count in the making of the next president of Nigeria.
habex050: we are still far from getting there? bat is bad
We got there many years ago after we voted for Fashola and his APC propagandist liars.
gratiaeo: Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has said the only way the country can have stable electricity is to vote out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in next year’s general election.
Fashola, who gave the counsel while marking his 2,600 days in office at an elaborate ceremony held at the Blue Roof of the Lagos Television premises, said electricity crisis in the country is caused by lack of ideas and insincerity of purpose on the part of Federal Government.
He said,” Yes I agree with you that it is possible to generate electricity and to make sure that everybody in this country has electricity, we have to do the right thing. But you know what, the only way that you and I will have electricity in this country will be to vote out the PDP.
” In 16 years hundreds of billions of naira have been spent and we cannot switch on electricity and in seven years we have created four plants. It shows that something is missing. So unless you vote for All Progressive Congress it is going to be difficult to have electricity.
“They started from vision 2020-20 and I told you then that they were having a nightmare, that there was no vision. “They moved to seven point agenda and now they are transforming
What happened with the APC promised 20,000 Mws additional electricity in 2015, to be delivered in four years
The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) on Sunday promised to provide Nigerians with 20,000 megawatts (mw) of electricity within the first four years it takes over governance at the federal level. It maintained that its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) will improve the nation’s power situation significantly, if elected.
The proposed 20,000mw of electricity to be generated by the party in four years time will surpass Nigeria’s present consumption rate of around 15,000mw, the party had said.
Disclosing this in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, APCPCO expressed disappointment that the federal government under President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration has only succeeded in adding 1.400mw to the national grid in four years.
press9jatv: food palliatives never work again. It even making things to become worse
Is it making things worse for the few among us who are allowed into leadership positions in the local, state and federal governments, both in the legislative and executive branches
Is this because we are mostly idiots and tribesmen who are loyal to our primitive tribal leaders rather than governance principles and policy positions
edet19892015: Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.
According to the Greeks, they are three types of people on Earth, 1. The idiots, 2. The tribesmen, and 3. The citizens.
Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens. The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.
1. When the Greeks used the word "Idiot", they did not use it as a curse word. Idiots are people who just don’t care. If they sit for exams, they will cheat. If they are in government they will steal.
An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin.
IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share.
In fact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election, yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.
According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.
2. The next set of people are "Tribesmen", these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.
These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe. It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.
When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.
A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen
3. The last group are "Citizens". These are people who like to do things the right way. They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.
They drive within speed limits. They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams. In government, they won’t steal. They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.
Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone. The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".
Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.
A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation. And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.
But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.
Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life. Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one. The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & hapless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.
Joseph stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you". "They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?
Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? People trooping to Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation offices to collect branded One kilo bag of Rice & Noddles. Did you see the number of people of all ages who troop out to welcome Ex- convict James Ibori to South South! Do you see the number of handle mop following obi as if he is a seat? what of the one following dino malaye?

The scam is your own ignorance, apparently.
Are you related to Amaechi by any chance
VaselineCrew: Remember when Amaechi said that? He didn’t even realize that GEJ was revitalizing the rail sector.
He had said this when he was appointed minister of transportation :-
“In fact, I think we have a problem; most people don’t believe that the railway transport is functioning in Nigeria. I didn’t even know, until I started this tour, I never knew that the railway was functioning, it was even from his (MD’s) speech that I learnt that there are some coaches or services that go to Kano or Port Harcourt or elsewhere.”
Ẹ lọ fọkàn balẹ. Calm down everyone. Bobo Chicago is in charge, using the same magic formula that he used for his master plan of building Lagos alone to accumulate so much unpaid loans despite huge IGR, federal allocation, PPP money etc without employing government workers to make ordinary water supply available for all households.
Anyway he is our Yorubalokan turn so we are cool with this.
Tinubu has ‘magic wand’ to fix Nigeria – Sanwo-Olu

“He has given himself to the good people of Lagos, and now he wants to replicate his progressive ideas at the national level. It is time to pay him back with our unwavering support. He is, no doubt, the right and best man for the job. He knows the issues plaguing our nation like the back of his hands and he has the magic wand to fix it.”

Perhaps you should remember what Tinubu’s finance minister said below.
The last time Nigeria’s economy was stable was about a decade ago – Wale Edun
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.
He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.
He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.
“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.
“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”
Hakeemoyegoke: In Nigeria we only have the political class against the citizens. None of the above mentioned 3 has the interest of the common man at heart. dre11: Joining APC Makes the Brain Stop Working’ and 4 More Daniel Bwala Anti-Tinubu Remarks
There are three things in the world that deserve no mercy: hypocrisy, fraud, and tyranny. – Frederick William Robertson
Daniel Bwala, a staunch critic of President Tinubu, his administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been seen frolicking with the President in recent days, which has infuriated the public.
For his past statements against the APC, Bwala, who was a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council during the 2023 elections, has now drawn backlash.
He was an APC member until he defected to the PDP in 2022. He would later cite the ruling party’s Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket as the reason for his exit.
While announcing his decision on X on July 10, 2022, Bwala wrote: “Tonight I officially resigned my membership of @OfficialAPCNg on principles and conviction that I hold so dear. At this time of our national existence, our efforts and energy should gravitate towards uniting our people.”
There are now speculations that he may return to the APC. He held a meeting with President Tinubu on Wednesday “to show appreciation and support for the bold decisions he is taking to deal with the crisis confronting [the] country”, and he revealed that he would support Tinubu without apologies, even if it meant going back to the APC.
Amid ongoing controversies surrounding Bwala’s recent interactions with the President, FIJ revisits five times in the past when he criticised the APC-led administration.
‘EVEN IF YOU GIVE TINUBU 30 YEARS, NOTHING WILL WORK‘
On December 25, 2023, Bwala expressed scepticism about President Tinubu’s ability to deliver within his four-year term. He argued that waiting for significant changes under Tinubu’s administration might not be feasible.
Bwala said, “When people talk about being patient and waiting, you have to look at the time frame the public officer is expected to execute the work. The President has just been voted into a term of four years. He is eight months into the term, which constitutes 31.8 percent of the total time that he has. He has less than 70 percent time in government; when is that going to happen? When President Buhari took over in 2015, it was the same language, and we patiently followed and he finished the first term and finished the second term. When there is a fundamental problem with policy, time is irrelevant; 30 years, it will not work.”
‘TINUBU’S CABINET MEMBERS WON’T PERFORM MORE THAN 15%‘
In August 2023, Bwala said that the cabinet members appointed by Tinubu would not perform beyond 15 percent because the President seemed more focused on politics than governance.
“I feel that when it comes to the number of ministers, he (Tinubu) was more particular about politics than governance. The number of governors in the cabinet and the portfolios assigned to some individuals were purely political. I don’t have an expectation of a performance that is going to be beyond 15 percent, looking at the cabinet members,” he said.
‘TINUBU IS PRESIDENT-SELECT, NOT PRESIDENT-ELECT’
In May 2023, Bwala said Tinubu was the ‘president-select’, and not the ‘president-elect’. He said Tinubu was selected by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as their preferred candidate.
His words: “Now we are in court to say that it was a rigged process. As long as there is no final determination of the matter, we have every right under law, equity and justice to hold the opinion that we express that he is a president-select and not a president-elect.”
‘THE PDP CLEARLY WON THE ELECTION BUT APC RIGGED IT‘
Following the 2023 presidential polls, Bwala said his party won the election and alleged that the APC rigged it to emerge as the winner.
Bwala, who disclosed this in an interview with Arise TV in March 2023, said, “We clearly won. In fact, if these results were allowed to be read from the result sheet, we won with over 1 million vote. Nigerian people voted PDP as the winner of this election, but history and posterity is the one that will judge.”
‘JOINING APC MAKES THE HUMAN BRAIN STOP WORKING’
Bwala made a post on X in November 2022: “The human brain is unique and miraculous. It works and functions optically 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, until you join APC, then it stops working.”
Since his post resurfaced on Thursday amid his unabashed declaration of support for the APC, Bwala’s cognitive abilities have been questioned by Nigerians.

Ten years ago Peter Obi, as Governor of Anambra state, prevented the Labour Party from holding a rally in his state capital Awka. Today the same Obi is using the same Labour Party as a vehicle to run for the Presidency and seek power.
ManirBK: Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has accused his predecessor and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, of denying his current party the opportunity to campaign in the State when he was governor.
Soludo made the accusation on Thursday while fielding questions on the Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.
The Anambra governor was reacting to the allegations from LP leaders that the State government restricted the party in terms of political campaigns.
“Nobody has done that. He did not even allow the Labour Party, where he is now, to freely campaign in Anambra. He denied them even the venue that they paid for,” he said.
Soludo added that he had twice granted Obi the opportunity to use government properties in the State for his political campaign.
Kobojunkie: .... @Poster, he is doing exactly what the people elected him to come do again. I mean for a man with meagre list of accomplishments during his first time, why else would he had been re-elected if not to continue the same?? undecided undecided undecided

PROUDIGBO: ^^^I'm trying to, but i can't fault your reasoning.
chuksikem: Was in awka some days back ,its really shameful, my heart bleeds for my state, from amansea to awka is still the same, pothole riddled roads, non-functioning street lights, refuse littering the entire state capital from arroma junction down to Ziks avenue, ,arthur eze, unizik junction, court road, udoka housing estate etc are still the same, no changes at all, the state capital still looks like a glorified village,
Civil servants and pensioners are been owed 3 MONTHS salary, so many abandoned projects yet the woman sounding governor is always in abuja 24/7.
Please peter obi's handlers on nl should please enlighten us,
A state that has the highest number of successful human beings in the entire black nation, it hurts,
SadiqBabaSani: Peter Obi's pathway to Presidency got slimer once Tinubu became President. Geo politics means he can't be President until maybe 75yrs
Does it mean that Soludo’s prediction was correct
jameshankss: Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has said he is sure the candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, would lose the 2023 presidential election.
Astrid4: It’s just obvious igboho and his cohort are just catching cruise, if not for inferior complexity what did they expect the UK govt to do, to compel the federal government to secede them from Nigeria? Nah this ain’t done that way. There are different ways a country can seceded 1 consensual secession ( this is a mutual agreement between the country and the seceded one) 2 unilateral secession (one sided decision) 3 secession through conflict There’s never been in history of any country that have successfully seceded by mere submission of a secession petition that’s the highest stage foolery, secession that is not done through conflict or war outbreaks like the Bangladesh-Pakistan in 1971 is done by referendum like Norway Sweden in 1905. If truly they want secession just like the Uk govt has rightly said they should approach their home country for it maybe they could grant them referendum for that. UK has no power to secede a country from another that’s the height of ignorance I see Sunday’s move as clownish and lack substance
It may be a fundraising trick to scam unsuspecting Yorubalokan dullards.
This is how you don't listen when an agitator is trying to follow due process. If he loses his temper as Kanu did, you call him a terrorist. Useless British🪴
Can you please remind us where the IPOB terrorist is now?
For how many years has he been rotting in jail, while his fellow terrorists make Igbo land desolate
He knows that under Tinubu, there's no light at the end of the tunnel
Reno may have pastoral eyes for seeing light at the end of Tinubu’s ebilokan toilet.
Those of us who are on the receiving end of the ebiNpawa cries, know that this light at the end of the tunnel is what Lagosians have been waiting for since 1999. A quarter of a century paying IGR to JagaBandit and his boys with no commensurate services nor utilities improvement from enough government workers.

If the good and upright people are not self serving, myopic olodos, then why are they not sensitising everyone to be the majority opinion in our country?
