The country should be sold off to East Asians for effective management. Nigerian men don't have the mental capacity to run a functioning society. Having long preek doesn't translate to wide grey matter. We just don't have it and we should acknowledge it.

If Europeans copied things from Asians to become better and dominate everyone, then why can’t we do that through the proselytising work of Africans who are exposed to Asian and European culture

See who's doubting someone's credentials. You couldn't even construct a grammatically sound sentence, using "if not" where it shouldn't appear & struggling with punctuations. No wonder they made IELTS compulsory for Nigerians. 😂😂😂

Kindly show me where I exclusively mentioned in my comments that Tinubu should have kept paying subsidy. Reading comprehension is a problem for you, I know. 😁

Your family and friends are buying petrol for over 1k per litre on a yet-to-be-implemented minimum wage of N70k or 44USD. A country where state governors couldn't pay 30k minimum wage for years...

When the poor start holding 2x2 planks and giving the politicians 'woto-woto', I hope you get your fare share of the planking!

As he and others have pointed out, you are clueless about the economy, just like Tinubu and Buhari who Obasanjo endorsed nevertheless, to help Tinubu achieve his ebilokan dream through Yorubalokan and Peter Obi’s naive assistance

If you are not clueless then you should know that the profligacy of government officials is at the root of the problems. The profligacy is endorsed by the masses who are too lazy mentally to work but want everything free from their own share of the national cake, through their tribesmen looters hailed as leaders

All these fake stories are to destroy the credibility of our president, and they are bound to fail.

Emergingnation:
Flashback: How Bola Tinubu spoke highly of Buhari in 2015, named PDP ‘Poverty Development Party

National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu had during the presidential campaign in 2015, referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

During a mega presidential rally, the former governor of Lagos State recalled how some powerful nations in the world returned to army generals when they were challenged, saying “Major General Buhari would revive Nigeria’s economy”.

He named the current opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the “Poverty Development Party saying they had nothing to offer.

His words at the time were; “Every nation has a period of their own challenges, when America was challenged, they turned to one great man, their ex-military general, General Eisenhower. When the French were challenged, they turned to their general, Charles de Gaulle.

“When Britain was challenged, they turned to their general. Today, Nigeria is economically and physically challenged so we turn to General Muhammadu Buhari. He is the right man for the job. If you talk about military experience, he has it abundantly, he has courage, simplicity, he has it abundantly.

“If you talk about great determination, a combination of vision and ability to perform, honesty and integrity, he has it abundantly.

“I laugh when the incapable government, ‘Poverty Development Party’ PDP were talking. They have nothing again to say, they now want to question the qualifications of General Buhari and look for his certificate”.

Following the manifestos in 2015 which projected the APC presidential candidate as a ‘saviour’, Buhari defeated the then incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with Nigerians expecting a total change in security and economy.

LAGOS State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, yesterday, gave a breakdown of how his administration expended the N160 billion World Bank loan it acquired, saying the state maintained a healthy debt profile.

Fashoa, who spoke during his commemoration of 2,700 days in office and achievements in the last 100 days, in Alausa, Ikeja, said long overdue refund would go a long way in reducing the debt profile of the State, which he said the Federal Government recently published to mislead the public.

He said, “Recently, our political adversaries issued statements that we have borrowed N160 billion. What they have not told you is what we are doing with the money.”

Enumerating his government’s activities within the period under consideration he said; “In the last 100 days, we have commenced work on providing street lighting on the Muritala Muhammed Way in Yaba.

This is 10 kilometres of public lighting which will be completed by the end of this month. On Eko Bridge, Carter Bridge, Ikorodu Road, Lekki-Epe Expressway and every street and highway where there is street lighting in Lagos, it is the Lagos State Government that supplied the poles, the bulbs, the diesel and the maintenance.

“The only major highway we are not managing for street lights is the 3rd Mainland Bridge.

Fire engines, to secure lives, rail transport from Okokomaiko to Marina, with four stations of eight kilometres completed, and work heading to Marina, with piles appearing near the Eko Bridge every day are the places your Government is spending money. The expansion of the Lagos Badagry Expressway to a 10-lane highway is another place where your Government is spending money.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has said once those who looted the nation’s treasury join its fold, all their sins will be forgiven.

The national chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole, stated this on Thursday at the presidential campaign rally held in Benin, the Edo State capital.

Mr Oshiomhole made the comments while receiving decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).

“I’m told that there are a lot of senior people from PDP who have decided to join forces with President Buhari to take the broom to sweep away PDP to continue to ensure that APC continues to preside over Nigeria,” he was quoted by TheCable to have said.

“It includes my own brother and friend Henry Duke, he is the former organising secretary of PDP. We also have former vice chairman PDP and leader of PDP Edo North, in fact, once you join APC, all your sins are forgiven,” the top APC official said.

Oshiomhole urged Nigerians to return President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term in office.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi In River State, For The Funeral Thanksgiving Of Peterside's Mother by anonimi: 2:45am On Sep 02
Noerection:
Grieving Peter Obi must be there

When will he grieve for his power grabbing greed and political naivety that made Tinubu’s ebilokan dream possible with Yorubalokan turn

Political naivety that made his Fidelity bank successor in Anambra to render him a homeless politician and IDP after his failed attempt to be a godfather.

jameshankss:
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has said he is sure the candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, would lose the 2023 presidential election. Soludo said he would not submit to the bullying of Obi’s supporters, who recently descended on him for addressing issues in the state.

The governor made the comments in a lengthy write-up personally authored, with the title, “History Beckons, and I Will Not Be Silent (Part 1).”

Soludo said Obi was inadvertently making the pathway to victory much easier for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and at the same time, toying with the destiny of millions of Ndigbo.

But the chief spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign, Yunusa Tanko, accused Soludo of being sponsored by some unknown persons to weaken the base of the party in the South-east.

The former CBN governor had been under intense attack for close to a week for dismissing Obi’s investment in the state as amounting to nothing, during a television interview.

Soludo said in the write-up, “My attention has been drawn to some of the tirades on social media following my frank response during an interview on Channels TV regarding the ‘investments’ Mr. Peter Obi claimed to have made with Anambra State revenues.

“Sadly, several of the comments left the issue of the interview to probe or suggest motives, inferred from my response on ‘investment’ that I am opposed to Peter Obi’s ambition and, therefore, committed a ‘crime’ for which the punishment is internecine abuse and harassment, even to my family.

“Everyone knows that I don’t follow the winds or one to succumb to bullies, or shy away from a good fight especially, when weighty matters of principles and future of the people are involved.”

Soludo said he had urged Obi to return to his former party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to actualise his presidential bid. He added that he had always told the LP candidate to his face that he was not capable of winning the 2023 presidential election, especially, under LP, which had neither a councillor nor a local government chairman.

Soludo said Obi was not just his friend, but also his brother, but despite that, they have their political differences.

He stated, “For full disclosure, let me state that Peter Obi and I are not just friends, we call ourselves ‘brothers’. But we have political differences: he left APGA for PDP after his tenure as governor, while I have remained in APGA since 2013.

“During the last two governorship elections in Anambra in 2017 and 2021, he led the PDP campaigns but APGA won landslide in both elections. By the way, in 2016, he visited and proposed that I defect to PDP and contest the 2017 election against the incumbent Willie Obiano, but I declined.

“After my victory in November 2021, he called to congratulate me, as I did to him in 2010. That is the Anambra way: we fight fiercely during campaigns but share drinks at the next social events. After all, it was the Great Zik of Africa, who taught us that in politics, there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies but only permanent interests.”

Arguing that Obi’s presidential bid would only work in favour of Tinubu, Soludo said, “Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign, because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP.”

Obi, according to Soludo, would only deplete the votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pave the path for an APC victory.

He stated, “The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years. The South-east has the lowest number of votes of any region, but it is also the only region where the presidential race might be a four-way race (it is a two-way race in the other five regions) thereby, ensuring that our votes won’t count in the making of the next president of Nigeria.

Subsidy removal: Tinubu backs Buhari, Falana condemns price hike

13th May 2016

A former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has described the decision of the President Buhari-led Federal Government to remove petrol subsidy as courageous.

The government, through the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, on Wednesday, announced the removal of the subsidy on petrol, pegging the upper limit at N145 per litre from N86.50k.

In a statement in Lagos on Thursday, Tinubu said though the decision was a difficult one, it would ultimately become beneficial to the generality of the people instead of enriching the pockets of a few Nigerians, who enjoyed the fraud of the subsidy regime.

Being handsome and having six packs matters very little in our country, if you don’t have six pockets full of money. undecided

Except one adjusts his sexual preferences to suit his extreme poverty pocket.

Tinubu is a senile and has nothing to offer Nigerians.

He is an akpa amu

25 years ago when he was not senile, what did he offer smart Lagosians except to squeeze them for IGR while blaming Obasanjo for his own failure to deliver governance outcomes that matches the revenue at his disposal?

To say that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is enmeshed in a crisis of credibility is to put the situation mildly. For a man who got to office with a statistically narrow mandate of 37 percent of total votes cast, many expected Tinubu to rise above himself in order to establish an enduring legacy. That expectation now appears misplaced. Even more worrisome is that despite being in a ditch, the president and his handlers continue to dig by displaying a behaviour the Yoruba would describe as “tani o mu mi”. As I once explained on this page, it is the kind of impunity that carries a certain sense of hubris, not only for the perpetrator(s) but also for the larger society

Is Segun Adeniyi leading others to update our electoral laws to make 50% plus one votes the requirement for victory

No security for this country, chai,

Is this why Tinubu used billions to buy bulletproof Escalade while sharing cups of rice to extreme poverty Nigerians instead of jobs for earning a living in dignity

Dr Funke FADAHUNSI, was kidnapped on 23/Aug/2024 between Shetimma and FMC Lokoja, on her way to work.

I thought she was kidnapped in 2015 BC when clueless, bloody civilian Jonathan was the president, and then I looked at the date.

Op you need to start approaching women both offline and online. This is what I will do if I was you to find a girlfriend in 3 months there in Canada.

Look for women focused activities and join them. It can be yoga, dance class, pilates class and stuff like that. Join things where you are the only man. Make friends with every woman there. Even if you don't get a gf there and you get close to the girls there. They would invite you for programs and when they do they will bring their single friends.

The next thing is for you to go and pay a professional photographer. Get some nice clothes and accessories and take very nice pictures. You can then post the pictures on Reddit and select the best looking ones to post on dating apps. Join a dating app like tinder and pay for premium and put your pictures there. Once a week pay for boost preferably on Saturdays in the evenings. You will get likes and since you are on premium you can see who likes you and match with them.

Try to go out once a week to places with a lot of people and try to talk to women. Get comfortable talking to them.

You won't even have to do everything here to find someone. Forget the girl in Nigeria except you want to be unfortunate. Some of you guys that do live in English speaking countries do fall hands to be honest. What will you now do in a country where nobody speaks English. The language barrier alone is a major problem before any other thing.

FYI if you are fat, just forget everything on this list and go and lose the weight first or you will get more depressed grin grin cheesy

Thanks for your evidence based approach to this issue.

This was what worked for me and I am sure it will work for him there.

Unfortunately, we have an economically backward society in our country, that makes women chattels to be bought. It’s difficult to adapt from our primitive, unevolved socioeconomic system to that of liberal, progressive and economically strong and equitable societies that whites run.

Nevertheless, your analysis and advice works in our country, to the extent that a good looking, intelligent, well groomed man will score with women, if he has time and “lyrics’ to use on them.
