Dear Nigeria Police Force,

I would like to report a serious issue involving a carpenter in our neighborhood who is being terrorized by his neighbor. This young carpenter cannot afford a workspace, so he keeps some of his furniture outside his rented apartment to deliver them to clients.

Recently, his neighbor intentionally destroyed some of his furniture. When the carpenter reported this matter to the Kagini Police Station, the neighbor retaliated by attacking him with a cutlass yesterday, injuring his head and hand. Despite this, the Kagini Police Station has refused to arrest the neighbor and instead told the injured carpenter to bring his attacker to the station himself.

Today, the same neighbor attacked another person with a cutlass and continues to threaten the lives of people in the neighborhood. He boasts that the police cannot do anything to him and claims to have killed before in his previous location without being arrested. His threats to kill again have left the entire community in fear.

The house where this incident took place is at the 4th or 5th house, Akara Junction by the left road in Kaba, Kagini along Kubwa. The landlady of the house is powerless concerning this matter and unable to take any effective action.

The carpenter and the residents of our neighborhood are desperate for protection. Attached are pictures of the injured carpenter. We plead for your immediate intervention as the Kagini Police Station has failed to act due to the carpenter's poor and uneducated status.
