achorladey:I wonder why it pains him so much, I'm glad I made it obvious. Is this how he expected to win me over to JW...? Lol. He literally mentioned me last thing before sleeping and mentioned me first thing after waking up... And later complains that I'm replying my mentions late in the night, lmao! He truly feels all itchy to reply me, and maybe convert me to the ONLY SET OF PEOPLE WHO DO GOD'S WILL. I'd rather be a FAITHLESS MISCREANT too.

Sports / The Superstars New Clubs... And How It Has Affected Them by ANormalHuman: 9:53pm On Sep 29, 2023 |
I want you guys to be the judges... How do you think the new clubs are affecting our favourite players...? Who do you think is the happiest and most successful now?

MaxInDHouse: When I asked you questions you ended up saying other things, twisting explanations and leaving other parts unanswered... But yet you are always itchy yo reply me whenever I quote someone else. In case you think I didn't, I heard you loud and clear and I have to intention of mentioning you again. I'm pleading with you to do the same. There are other vulnerable people you can brute force, not me. By the way don't sound silly, me not saying it doesn't mean I don't know enough about your bizarre organization... You don't qualify to give me sleepless night bro, I'm beyond that. The worst that can happen is a buildup of anger — the kind of anger that comes when you see overly hypocritic, stoopid and gullible people. And yes, I don't need that anger. Anger kills. Now kindly get out of my mentions. 3 Likes |

achorladey: Seriously the way this fellow boasts, I don't even care again to listen much, I never want to stand beside him as a fellow JW and listen to him boast to others about us (JWs), I never want to do that myself. The fact that he sneaks in that line in every response makes me wish I could see this human being in person and directly hear how foolish it sounds to say the same phrase 200x in a conversation. SMH! You know, the funny thing is that their whole organization is built on and coordinated by that phrase: "I'm saying is that's the one and only organization of imperfect humans doing God's will today is JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" Anyone who joins will join because of this phrase, anyone who is there won't want to leave because of this phrase... If I ask, what exactly is that thing you are doing that other Churches don't do, it will be another saga of rubbish talk. I regret conversing with this guy... I feel so irritated. Common Bible knowledge gets twisted, he keeps advertising his club low-key, makes claims that don't even relate to the questions that are being asked. 4 Likes |

Courz: Man this is deep! I feel you have more to say... Nothing screams truth louder than an insider sharing from experience, it's horrific, I got similar ideas during my little research and you've confirmed that it is not a lie. Jehovah's Witnesses is just another Church denomination, just like many other fake Churches with terrible hidden motives and doctrines. 4 Likes |

MaxInDHouse: Don't worry... I'm assuming you've learned it all from your Bible Study peeps. Enjoy the knowledge. I'd rather learn from my Bible and the Holy Spirit directly, not from someone who's an expert in twisting the truth after someone points it out. And stop selling your organization to me, I'm not buying it at all (no one here on NL does)... Especially with this awful display of pride? Hell naw! I never want to be this prideful. 4 Likes |

MaxInDHouse: I want to learn, I think it is you who thinks you've learned all and every other person now needs to learn from you.
After arguing, did they teach it to others? Someone here is talking about your organization teaching contradicting stuff back and forth. Learning is one stage, teaching is another.
I wish you understand what the disciples were doing... The church accepted the poor and the rich and they were all living as one, trying to let the poor enjoy everything equally as the rich would do, not stigmatizing them, just as was prophesied in the Bible: "Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.” 2 Corinthians 8:13-15 NIV This was one of the main purposes of offerings since the days of Moses and the disciples were continuing that. Don't lie to people that they were trying to eradicate poverty.
My question is quite simple, is that what God said? That you guys are the only people doing so so and so...? 1 Like |

MightySparrow: I think I should have said it this way: JWs were the ones who always came to our houses to advertise their club and paint themselves as the most righteous with a I'm not even trying my best to say something bad about them. There are a lot of things I've heard about them that makes me respect them, and a lot of things that also makes me disdain them (not out of personal hatred but more like as a result of this picture they painted about themselves before I got a closer look). Just like it pains me a lot whenever I see an iPhone malfunctioning after all the hype... Yesterday I observed two instances on during a journey: On my way going, I saw a man at a very busy spot in town. He was with a portable sound system and was preaching to people in the tight crowded busy vicinity while standing, I heard a few lines while passing and I know that those around (the place is filled with traders) will hear the full sermon, and it will sow a seed in their hearts, for good or for bad... While returning, I saw two JWs in another less busy and less crowded spot, they were sitting under the shade of a bridge and I book-stand was in front of them, I suppose JW books, on the back there was a huge sticker, 'JW.org'. Here's what I observed, two religious bodies did a kind of outreach, one was promoting their brand, the other one didn't. One group waited expectantly for people to visit them, the other charged into the ears and minds of unsuspecting passerbys. One group was all relaxed, the other was sweating to achieve a goal. But in the end, the amount of effort displayed is evident in that instance... The only problem being that the group who put less effort in promoting their cause would likely accuse themselves of being more righteous than the man who put in more effort... The people who were clearly out there advertising a brand will come hitting after this man who just wanted people to hear 'God's Words'... A group that has a law which prevents them from questioning what the higher authorities say is equivalent to a cult. If no one should question, but only accept what tye authorities say, then how do they judge what is true and what is not? Many things to say about these people, but to what end? 2 Likes |

MaxInDHouse: Young man don't make yourself sound more awkward than they paint you. By the way, where exactly did the disciples fumble over Jesus' teachings? Cos last I remember, they were trying to explain a topic in a new way entirely and it caused a debate (even though it was right). So which scriptures are you referring to? MaxInDHouse: I wonder if this statement is meant to explain why people are pointing out 'flaws' in your self-esteemed organization. Cos last I remember, JWs were the ones who always came to our houses to advertise their club and paint themselves as the most righteous with a unique thinking pattern... And not the other way round. By the way, people dig up truths about everything they find, from Catholic Churches to Hollywood to Space, JW is no exception and is not even a special case... The only thing is that that it's kinda irritating to see you (in particular) so bold and prideful in your organization's swarm of delusions, just the same way it is irritating to see a child happily munching a muddy foam and feeling all bossy about it. So again, nothing special. 1 Like |

MightySparrow: Yh it might be delusions, or might not. I'm more concerned that a person has to mention the name of his church specifically even when I already generalized it by saying they word Christians So this should mean that the church is not a Christian church and that's why you are specifying the church name... I don't know. |

TenQ: Another wonderful mention. The Peace which comes with the assurance that the Holy Spirit of God is in you and with you... Plus, the gentle happiness and joy that flows whenever we realize that God loves us (despite those voices that say otherwise in our heads)... Plus the feeling of calm and freedom that comes whenever we look back and reflect on the difference in our lives before and after being saved.. I'm not sure many people understand this combo... It feels surreal.. I'm glad you mentioned this, reminds me of experiences. As for the other points you mentioned, I guess we all are/have been there, practice makes perfect... But even perfection isn't enough. I think everything boils down to humility, once in a while I pray for God to humble any pride in me. Other times, you just need to take a step to realize that the journey is easy... It is well. Thanks for the response. 1 Like |

For me, it's the journey I passed through in the whole process where God found me, starting from points where I was totally living in active sin and doubt, to the point where I finally got to have some clear proofs of God. The happiness that comes from living free from sins I thought I will never overcome. And also the practicality of the whole idea of following God's instructions and leadings.
I don't know, but at times, whenever God keeps silent at my wrongs or bad decisions, I don't know if a punishment is brewing, especially long term punishments... Maybe the biggest thing is uncertainty of how this will happen: My persecution for Christ (especially if it will be the torture version)
I see a crown I see a group of people living a normal righteous life in a righteous community, I want to be one of them.
The idea that Christianity is all about praying (making incantations) and receiving money and protection... Then it all ends in wearing white garments and singing Hosanna forever and ever in Heaven, while the unjust burn forever and ever in Hell |

Bestbrain123: I don't know it your reply is sarcastic or not, but here's a tip: Try to create these three boxes whenever you're listening to anyone explaining Christian stuff... 1. Correct Box. This means you are 100% sure that what the person is saying is true, and you can find evidence in the Bible. 2. Uncertainty Box. These are the stuffs that you are not sure that they are correct. But also, you can't find enough proof that it is wrong. So you just go ahead and leave it hanging, with hopes that you will finally understand if it's true or not with time. 3. False Box. This is the box for stuff that are 100% wrong and you can proof that they are 100% false according to multiple Bible Scriptures. That's it, apart from that, try a personal Christianity where you read your Bible as well (pray for understanding) and try to practice and build yourself in secret, so that in public, you can have enough understanding to decide whether you should accept whatever is being taught or whether to discard it. As for trinity, I dunno, its probably difficult to explain it easily. 1 Like |

Religion / Three Questions For Christians... by ANormalHuman: 5:40pm On Sep 27, 2023 |
Hey folks, it's resting hours so I decided to voice out some of my thoughts.(questions)... Please I'm inviting every Christian who reads this to leave a reply, it will help. And pleeaase, no v!olence please, even though I know y'all are marvelous. I'll just go to the point: 1. What gives you joy about your religion? What's that stuff in your religion that makes you feel happy and lucky whenever you remember it...? Maybe a testimony, an experience, anything. 2. What gives you the toughest time in your religion? Yh, there's always a hard pill to swallow. Do you mind sharing? Might also be your experience Christian-wise, something you find hard to accept, believe or escape, ongoing sacrifices, anything. 3. What gives you hope to continue? Very important, there's always been that uncertainty stage, so what boosts you? What gives you that drive to continue? What you you hold on to and draw strength from whenever there's a challenge?? Also, please if there's any popular belief you want to debunk in Christianity, here's the go-ahead. Please do so. (But only with the willingness/capability to argue calmly and to agree if it becomes obvious that you might be wrong) I'm all ears, Let's go. |

Hello guys... Please help me out on this: There's this iPad (Air 2), that has been lying around in my house for some months now. The screen went blank, that is, it doesn't display any light, but is still fully functional, it is 100% usable. If I flash a bright torch at the screen from certain angles, I can see what is displayed and I can use the phone properly but without that, the screen stays dim. Any help? PS: I have followed many step I found online, even did a hard reset, nothing works. New screen starts from 30-90k or so. Someone made a video and demonstrated a kind of glitch in some Apple phones where the same thing happens and even a new screen doesn't fix it. Instead, the person just got rid of a chip in the microphone or headphone jack and all was fixed.. So that's that, any help? Mod please help me push for relevancy Seun Mynd44 Lalasticlala Nlfpmod |

(I forgot to mention, I had given it for repairs once and they couldn't do anything, the screen later came on on it's own and died again several months later) |
