By the way don't sound silly, me not saying it doesn't mean I don't know enough about your bizarre organization...
You don't qualify to give me sleepless night bro, I'm beyond that.

Oh Yes. I have lots to say about JW. I am just summarising. The kind of research I did about them is the one forbidden by Watchtower. What we know about the Cult could even be the tip of the iceberg. There is more that will be revealed just as Child Sex Trafficking was revealed.

And Yes, JW is just one of those Cults that were formed by Freemasons in the 1800s. If you do your research, you will find some Cults that operate the exact way JW operates. And their founders were all Freemasons. It is as if all the Freemasons gathered in their lodges in the 1800s and planned or were given assignments to form their own Cults. All these Cults I am talking about are all American Cults. JW is just one of them. You need to read about the History of Cults in America.

With much knowledge comes much grief... Let me manage the little I know first, I don't want to get a heart attack while digging deep into another man's mess.

Here is the real point.

They claim today they have the truth.

Then ask them, which truth do you have today that is not known by anyone since the beginning of Christianity? Silent mode!

Scholars and archeologists have put the destruction of Jerusalem to 586/587BC, why is Watchtower still saying Jerusalem was destroyed in 607BC to arrive at 1914? Silent mode!

They'll later claim that Jesus came down and said it to their founders, meanwhile it was just a random calculation from the book of Revelations

You don't need to stress yourself on that, he is fed up with the organisation but just using Nairaland as a saving face. That's why he is so restless and sleepless on this forum.

Na years of indoctrination and tactics used by his religious leaders he is applying here. The tactics is to repeat the lie continously until the person they are in conversation with accept it as truth.

When they see and know the person is familiar with their lies, they start insults, abuse and attack the person in order to divert the lies and manipulations.

Should they have the power, people like you and I will never have access to this platform for life.

They detest anyone who goes against their authority and power just like their 9 GODS of men in USA grin grin grin

The antidote I have used while in conversation with them is to be calm. They are most times aggressive and easily agitated. They have given me numerous names here that have come back to haunt them. Now they have all chosen to avoid me. They simply cannot stand me exposing their lies repeatedly backed with evidence they cannot refute.

Seriously the way this fellow boasts, I don't even care again to listen much, I never want to stand beside him as a fellow JW and listen to him boast to others about us (JWs), I never want to do that myself.

The fact that he sneaks in that line in every response makes me wish I could see this human being in person and directly hear how foolish it sounds to say the same phrase 200x in a conversation. SMH!

You know, the funny thing is that their whole organization is built on and coordinated by that phrase:

"I'm saying is that's the one and only organization of imperfect humans doing God's will today is JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES"

Anyone who joins will join because of this phrase, anyone who is there won't want to leave because of this phrase...

If I ask, what exactly is that thing you are doing that other Churches don't do, it will be another saga of rubbish talk.
I regret conversing with this guy... I feel so irritated.
Common Bible knowledge gets twisted, he keeps advertising his club low-key, makes claims that don't even relate to the questions that are being asked.

If you were brought up as a JW, you would see the religion as the Truth. It would be drummed into your ears, eyes and mind that you are not to research the Cult outside their website and you must not listen to anyone with negative views about the Cult.

I started having doubts about the Cult from my Teens because of the kind of personalities in the Cult. They would boast about being the Best, being different, being the only people God is for. But what I would see amongst them would be completely different. It never sat right with me. But because of the indoctrination, I would push those doubts aside. You are trained as a JW to do this. This is what we call Mind Control Programming. It exists in all Cults.

The next doubt is their stand against University Education and the fact that they remove Elders who have children in the University. My Father was removed from his post as an Elder because of this. This time, I had to tell myself that Satan is in the Cult and he is using certain Governing body members to enforce this rule. This rule isn't from God.

What broke the Camel's back for me was Child Sexual Abuse in the Cult. I have been hearing about it before but I ignored it. But when they decided to address it in one of their Watchtower magazine, it piqued my interest. I said to myself, So, Child Sexual Abuse happens in Jehovah's organisation? I thought this only happens in the Catholic Church just as Watchtower told us.

I gave myself permission to research JW Child Sexual Abuse and what I saw shocked me. My research started to take me to the Founder of JW and I was led to JW Freemasonry. I saw testimonies from Freemason ExJWs. Infact, I was taken to the underbelly parts of JW, The underground sections of JW. I was taken to the very beginning of JW, Who they are, Who funded them, Who is really running them, Their False prophecies, Their Property investments, Their Billionaire status, Their investments in Big Companies of the world including companies and organisations they have taught JW to stay away from, Their Ties to the U. S Government, Their Unpalatable History, The lifestyle of their Leaders over the years, Their old publications that revealed who they are, Their hidden Occultic activities, The role Child Sexual Abuse plays in their Occultic activities, e.t.c

When I saw all of these, I now realised why they were desperate to force JWs not to research the Cult and not to listen to negative views about them. All my doubts and everything else now made perfect sense.

Man this is deep!
I feel you have more to say...
Nothing screams truth louder than an insider sharing from experience, it's horrific, I got similar ideas during my little research and you've confirmed that it is not a lie.

Jehovah's Witnesses is just another Church denomination, just like many other fake Churches with terrible hidden motives and doctrines.

Obviously you don't understand what you're saying!
Jesus' disciples were a group back in the first century so whatever they're arguing about is their UNDERSTANDING at that time which they will equally pass onto whoever listens to them so as members of Jehovah's Witnesses organization we view those taking the lead in our midst the same way we view them despite their confused state of mind at that time Jesus promised that they are the ones that will sit with him to rule in heaven, ọmọ Jesus never waited until they perfectly grasp what he's teaching them o.
WHY?
Because they are ever ready to make amendments in whatever Jesus say they got wrong!

If all Nigerians are selling whatever we have and sharing the proceeds EQUALLY what are we trying to do?
Is that not a way to eradicate poverty?
Ọmọ take it or leave it!

God promised that His true worshipers will achieve something during the endtime and only Jehovah's Witnesses are fulfilling it today!

Don't worry... I'm assuming you've learned it all from your Bible Study peeps. Enjoy the knowledge.

I'd rather learn from my Bible and the Holy Spirit directly, not from someone who's an expert in twisting the truth after someone points it out.

And stop selling your organization to me, I'm not buying it at all (no one here on NL does)... Especially with this awful display of pride? Hell naw! I never want to be this prideful.

Who cares what faithless miscreants say about the truth?
If you want to learn just calm down and reason not following faithless miscreants who has nothing tangible to offer.

I want to learn, I think it is you who thinks you've learned all and every other person now needs to learn from you.

Jesus taught his disciples several times that they must humbly take up lowliness {Matthew 5:5} but they always argue among themselves over who is the greatest! Mark 9:34; Luke 9:46

After arguing, did they teach it to others?
Someone here is talking about your organization teaching contradicting stuff back and forth.

Learning is one stage, teaching is another.

Jesus taught them that it's not possible now to eradicate poverty among them because as long as this system lasts they will always have poor ones amongst them {John 12:8} yet after their baptism of the holy spirit they tried to eradicate poverty by working towards equalizing {Act 4:34-35} only to loose a couple so they have to stop the exercise! Act 5:1-11

I wish you understand what the disciples were doing...
The church accepted the poor and the rich and they were all living as one, trying to let the poor enjoy everything equally as the rich would do, not stigmatizing them, just as was prophesied in the Bible:

"Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”

2 Corinthians 8:13‭-‬15 NIV

This was one of the main purposes of offerings since the days of Moses and the disciples were continuing that.

Don't lie to people that they were trying to eradicate poverty.

I can go on and on but let's stop at that! smiley

JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ORGANIZATION is the one and only group of imperfect humans doing God's will today!

That's what i am saying so if you have questions i'm ready to answer you! smiley

Good points. There is actually something special about them, you mentioned it also. That I have been pointing ou on this platform: special delusion
Thank God I have somebody that can see it.

I think I should have said it this way:
JWs were the ones who always came to our houses to advertise their club and paint themselves as the most righteous with a unique thinking pattern unique and special delusion... And not the other way round.

I'm not even trying my best to say something bad about them. There are a lot of things I've heard about them that makes me respect them, and a lot of things that also makes me disdain them (not out of personal hatred but more like as a result of this picture they painted about themselves before I got a closer look).
Just like it pains me a lot whenever I see an iPhone malfunctioning after all the hype...

Yesterday I observed two instances on during a journey:

On my way going, I saw a man at a very busy spot in town. He was with a portable sound system and was preaching to people in the tight crowded busy vicinity while standing, I heard a few lines while passing and I know that those around (the place is filled with traders) will hear the full sermon, and it will sow a seed in their hearts, for good or for bad...

While returning, I saw two JWs in another less busy and less crowded spot, they were sitting under the shade of a bridge and I book-stand was in front of them, I suppose JW books, on the back there was a huge sticker, 'JW.org'.

Here's what I observed, two religious bodies did a kind of outreach, one was promoting their brand, the other one didn't.
One group waited expectantly for people to visit them, the other charged into the ears and minds of unsuspecting passerbys.
One group was all relaxed, the other was sweating to achieve a goal.
But in the end, the amount of effort displayed is evident in that instance... The only problem being that the group who put less effort in promoting their cause would likely accuse themselves of being more righteous than the man who put in more effort...
The people who were clearly out there advertising a brand will come hitting after this man who just wanted people to hear 'God's Words'...

A group that has a law which prevents them from questioning what the higher authorities say is equivalent to a cult.
If no one should question, but only accept what tye authorities say, then how do they judge what is true and what is not?

Many things to say about these people, but to what end?

You need to go back and STUDY how the disciples fumbled countless times over and over again until they were able to master Jesus' teachings.

We are talking about a perfect teacher and his imperfect students so if a perfect teacher say anything his imperfect students may stumble many times over their teachers teachings.

That's exactly what happened to the Bible students in the 20th century! smiley

Young man don't make yourself sound more awkward than they paint you.

By the way, where exactly did the disciples fumble over Jesus' teachings?
Cos last I remember, they were trying to explain a topic in a new way entirely and it caused a debate (even though it was right). So which scriptures are you referring to?

MaxInDHouse:
In the first century apostate Jews known as Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and other Jewish Rabbis were always following Jesus everywhere he goes because his teachings is really really disturbing their wicked hearts.
But at the same time honest hearted ones in their midst like Nicodemus went looking for Jesus to learn from him.
So when apostates are following JWs up and down today it's because their hearts are troubled as they know fully well that only this organization has what it takes to melt hearts! smiley

I wonder if this statement is meant to explain why people are pointing out 'flaws' in your self-esteemed organization.
Cos last I remember, JWs were the ones who always came to our houses to advertise their club and paint themselves as the most righteous with a unique thinking pattern... And not the other way round.

By the way, people dig up truths about everything they find, from Catholic Churches to Hollywood to Space, JW is no exception and is not even a special case...
The only thing is that that it's kinda irritating to see you (in particular) so bold and prideful in your organization's swarm of delusions, just the same way it is irritating to see a child happily munching a muddy foam and feeling all bossy about it. So again, nothing special.

Another wonderful mention.

The Peace which comes with the assurance that the Holy Spirit of God is in you and with you...
Plus, the gentle happiness and joy that flows whenever we realize that God loves us (despite those voices that say otherwise in our heads)...
Plus the feeling of calm and freedom that comes whenever we look back and reflect on the difference in our lives before and after being saved..

1. What gives you joy about your religion?

What's that stuff in your religion that makes you feel happy and lucky whenever you remember it...?
Maybe a testimony, an experience, anything.

For me, it's the journey I passed through in the whole process where God found me, starting from points where I was totally living in active sin and doubt, to the point where I finally got to have some clear proofs of God.
The happiness that comes from living free from sins I thought I will never overcome.
And also the practicality of the whole idea of following God's instructions and leadings.

2. What gives you the toughest time in your religion?

Yh, there's always a hard pill to swallow. Do you mind sharing?
Might also be your experience Christian-wise, something you find hard to accept, believe or escape, ongoing sacrifices, anything.

I don't know, but at times, whenever God keeps silent at my wrongs or bad decisions, I don't know if a punishment is brewing, especially long term punishments...
Maybe the biggest thing is uncertainty of how this will happen: My persecution for Christ (especially if it will be the torture version)

3. What gives you hope to continue?

Very important, there's always been that uncertainty stage, so what boosts you?
What gives you that drive to continue?
What you you hold on to and draw strength from whenever there's a challenge??

I see a crown smiley I see a group of people living a normal righteous life in a righteous community, I want to be one of them. smiley

Also, please if there's any popular belief you want to debunk in Christianity, here's the go-ahead. Please do so.

The idea that Christianity is all about praying (making incantations) and receiving money and protection... Then it all ends in wearing white garments and singing Hosanna forever and ever in Heaven, while the unjust burn forever and ever in Hell

I don't know it your reply is sarcastic or not, but here's a tip:
Try to create these three boxes whenever you're listening to anyone explaining Christian stuff...

1. Correct Box.
This means you are 100% sure that what the person is saying is true, and you can find evidence in the Bible.

2. Uncertainty Box.
These are the stuffs that you are not sure that they are correct. But also, you can't find enough proof that it is wrong. So you just go ahead and leave it hanging, with hopes that you will finally understand if it's true or not with time.

3. False Box.
This is the box for stuff that are 100% wrong and you can proof that they are 100% false according to multiple Bible Scriptures.

That's it, apart from that, try a personal Christianity where you read your Bible as well (pray for understanding) and try to practice and build yourself in secret, so that in public, you can have enough understanding to decide whether you should accept whatever is being taught or whether to discard it.

As for trinity, I dunno, its probably difficult to explain it easily.

My toughest times was when i had to admit that i can't find a better performing group than JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. John 8:44

God promised that towards the end time He will send out His Holy Spirit (Active Force) to gather faithful people throughout the earth under one umbrella so that they will start considering what was written in the Bible as an organization {Isaiah 2:2-3} and they will use God's word to settle all their disparities among themselves peacefully, divert their resources into production of food and information materials, erased the making, buying, selling and usage of weapons and vow never to raise weapons against anyone again! Isaiah 2:2-4

JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are doing just so today and that really gives me hope that truly the endtime is closer than the time Jesus said 2000 years ago:

Maybe a testimony, an experience, anything.

2. What gives you the toughest time in your religion?

Yh, there's always a hard pill to swallow. Do you mind sharing?
Might also be your experience Christian-wise, something you find hard to accept, believe or escape, ongoing sacrifices, anything.

3. What gives you hope to continue?

Very important, there's always been that uncertainty stage, so what boosts you?
What gives you that drive to continue?
What you you hold on to and draw strength from whenever there's a challenge??

Also, please if there's any popular belief you want to debunk in Christianity, here's the go-ahead. Please do so.
(But only with the willingness/capability to argue calmly and to agree if it becomes obvious that you might be wrong)

I'm all ears, Let's go.

Hello guys...

Please help me out on this:

There's this iPad (Air 2), that has been lying around in my house for some months now.
The screen went blank, that is, it doesn't display any light, but is still fully functional, it is 100% usable.

If I flash a bright torch at the screen from certain angles, I can see what is displayed and I can use the phone properly but without that, the screen stays dim.
Any help?

PS: I have followed many step I found online, even did a hard reset, nothing works.
New screen starts from 30-90k or so.

Someone made a video and demonstrated a kind of glitch in some Apple phones where the same thing happens and even a new screen doesn't fix it.
Instead, the person just got rid of a chip in the microphone or headphone jack and all was fixed.. So that's that, any help?

Mod please help me push for relevancy

Backlights are dead.

Nice suggestion, I thought so...

Please how do you think the fixing procedures will be like? Buying of new parts? What parts will they change? Costs?

(I forgot to mention, I had given it for repairs once and they couldn't do anything, the screen later came on on it's own and died again several months later)
