hello all
I got a naija used 2001 tribute with a 04ford escape engine that has a terrible fuel consumption like a leaking pipe even as a V6. a technician friend had it scanned and got d following codes: po401, po161, po141, po125 and something abt d pcm.
anyway not surprised because all d O2 sensors aren't connected to d engine while d fan is connected directly to d engine. it picks immediately u turn on d engine.
I was told overheating usually associated with d vehicle brand was d reason for d direct fan connection while nothing concrete on d o2 sensors.
so far like six months now I haven't had an engine issue other than alternator, kickstarter and suspension issues which have bn attended to and I was advised to keep managing d engine that way.
but truly need ur advise on how I can bring d engine performance to normal and confident level for a long distant trip

For me its not about the country of origin but Jumia's customer service culture.
Bought mine for my wife. Going by the specs thought it was a good buy till d next day at work her chat was just coming with several complaints on inability to download, use Facebook or update apps etc. I thought it was just a minor stuff I could resolve so told her to keep it till weekend when am opportuned.
my surprise it wouldn't even allow a Gmail account. Tried several several and then confirmed all complaints were genuine.
wrote to d customer service since the numbers were always engaged. Two weeks after no response to my mail. Just yesterday from the blues one agent called that he wants to pick up d phone. Told him don't carry it about since I was out of the office. We scheduled for him to pick it up today.
now he said he has been assigned somewhere. Can't give me the new person or office reliable contact.

funny its my first buy with them had many from konga never seen this kind of service.

for the phone it was obvious they sold a defective phone to me(luckly those without complaints) please be sure its really good before you part with your money and be cautious about comments or review from their agents online and here. Sadly some of such defects won't be visible immediately.
