Facebook user, Rexbtony Omaghomi Okoroatsegor has took to the platform to narrate how his mom and brother was robbed in Sapele area, Delta state by heavily armed robbers.

His brother, summoned the courage to sneak out to call the.police who snubbed him.

He wrote,
"Hoodlums came to my mum's Residence destroy properties shot and injured my mum and her Husband as well as my Brother.
This happened in Sapele Delta state Nigeria on the 25th of March 2018 they operated for close to 3hours without response from police or vigilantes from 12:00AM to 3:30AM.
They came with guns cutlasses and iron cutter which they used on the burglary proof. What gave them tough time was the iron door else they would have wreck more havoc and they made away with some money and valuables destroying our vehicle, but while leaving they left behind a cut to sized gun which obviously fell when they where running out of the compound.
Funny enough My younger one a Boy was able to sneak out to call neighbors but nobody came out he further ran to Ghana road Police station in Sapele which was the closest to us at Anigboro Rd around Owumi/abeke and they said its not their Business( in their words they said: e no concern us) asking him my younger one to go to the main Police station after stadium far off.
Its poor the state of Nigeria with no security and from what I heard its becoming a normal thing in Sapele as people are be robbed on a daily basis.
Advice please don't rely on fancy doors use those iron doors constructed by welders it helps cos if it was to be the fancy one it wont take time to breakin
I thank God for Life as my mum survived the gun shot at her."

UN urges Nigerians to start the use of cannabis, says it is medicinal but not for recreational purpose.

This was declared by the Project Officer of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Nigeria, Harsheth Kaur Virk, in her presentation at a one day Public hearing on "The need to check rising menace of Pharmaceutical drugs abuse among youth in Nigeria" organised by the Senate Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Health.

She said: “Nigeria as a sovereign Nation has its stringent laws against it but international conventions of the UN have approved it for medical purposes based on outcome of researches conducted to that effect by globally recognized institutes.”

Senator representing IMO East senatorial district, Senator Sam Anyanwu who contributed to an house proceeding on how to reduce air mishap in the country has said if aircrafts cannot be properly maintained, witchcraft should be used to fly.


“It is shameful that Nigeria does not have any national carrier. I think every responsible government should look at this issue. If the aircraft cannot be maintained, let’s use witchcraft and start flying.

That is the truth. Where is our national carrier? The government should look at the airline sector. Foreigners don’t come here (Nigeria) because it is not safe. Government should pay attention to the sector.”

He also said government should intervene and give a bailout fund to airlines for efficiency.

The Tattoo addict underwent 10year tattoo transformation of dyeing his eyes with black ink and using blacking colorings to permanently blacken his skin.He also implanted stretchers in his nose and inner part of lips to match the rest of the body.

He said during interrogation;

A Kenyan man, Simon Wamalwa stabbed his girlfriend to death after having a quarrel with his girlfriend over allegedly having sugar daddy.
He also made an attempt to kill himself afterwards.

Simon Wamalwa, a first year student at Sang’alo Institute of Science and Tech, Kenya who lives with her girlfriend in the same room in an hostel outside their school

Sylvia Udoto, a student, said that Wamalwa had accused Mildred of having a ‘sponsor’ who was pampering her with gifts. Ms Udoto said the two then engaged in a quarrel leading to a physical confrontation that led to the death of the female student.

“Wamalwa had claimed that his girlfriend had acquired a sugar daddy who was pampering her with gifts. The girlfriend denied and a quarrel ensued and he stabbed her several times,” she said.

Wamalwa was later reported to have made an attempt on his own life by turning the knife on himself, but he was rescued by the residents around the area.

Another eyewitness said they heard noises and rush down to their room where they found Mildred already dead and Wamalwa lieing down in pain after stabbing himself but was rescued.

According to a picture trending on social media, the Nigerian Lady was seen to have wore a cloth similar to the Soldier wear, which prompt the soldier to forcefully remove the clothes.

Eye-withness said it happened in the Northern part of Nigeria.

The lady was begging the soldiers not to embarass her in public but the soldiers did not hear her plea.
