Taking Z as the madman that can drive the boat.
Trip 1: A takes X to warri. X stays, A brings the boat back to Asaba.
Trip 2: Z takes Y to warri. Y stays with X, Z brings the boat back.
Trip 3: A and B go to Warri. A stays with X, while B takes Y with him back to Asaba.
Trip 4: B and Z go to Warri. Z stays with A, B takes X back to Asaba.
Trip 5: B and C go to Warri. B and C stay with A, Z takes the boat back to Asaba.
Trip 6: Z takes X to Warri. X stays with A, B and C, while Z goes back to Asaba.
Trip 7. Z takes Y to Warri. Everyone is now at Warri. Journey completed.

I reviewed my answer and came up with a more viable answer.
1st trip: Doctor A and madman X journeys to Warri and A returns alone.

2nd trip: Doctor A journeys to Warri with the only madman that can ride the boat. (I'm assuming it is Y). He returns alone.

3rd trip: Doctor A is probably tired and I suggest he rests alongside madman Z. B and C journeys to Warri and one of them should return with madman X who cannot ride d boat.

4th trip: Doctors A and C would then travel to Warri leaving X and Z in Asaba.
5th trip: Madman Y who can ride the boat would then journey to Asaba and pick up the madmen X and Z in 2 trips.
