To be honest, sometimes it baffles me how people can actually watch Messi play and still believe there's anyone that plays better than him. Not just goals, but also dribbling, assisting, playmaking, take-ons, magic everything.

One thing about football is, if you're good, you're good. Christian Pulisic not seeing as much minutes as he would've loved is down to him not being better than those in front of him, and he knows that he has to improve.

I don't see any favouritism in play here (like people saying Lampard favour the English players)... No no no.

Impress the coach in training sessions and make it difficult for him not to start or play you and I bet you, you'd be the first name on the team sheet every week.

Take Bernado Silva as a case study, he saw very few minutes when he joined City, but last season Pep Guardiola said even if he had to do rotations, he would never touch Bernado. He improved magnificently.

If Pulisic were to be the coach of Chelsea for their next game, he would still bench himself for Mason Mount.

All these players wouldn't even be at Chelsea if there was no transfer ban. This is the opportunity they had all been waiting and hoping for. They've taken advantage of it and they've really done well for themselves...

Without the ban, Abraham would be at Aston Villa, Mason Mount would be at Vitesse Arnhem and Tomori would be playing for Colchester City.
