Issue with receiving Elearn login code via noun student email Dear Students, please fill out this form with accurate information only if you have issues receiving the MFA code via your NOUN email. If you have already received assistance through another channel or are now receiving the code correctly in your NOUN email, do not complete this form. https:///LfSKwCSiAPiyffJ1A After 12-24 hours of submitting this form, log in to elearn.nou.edu.ng with your existing login details (For old students, use what you used last semester). All new students who have never logged in should check their NOUN email for a temporary password that has been sent before now and log in with their matric number in lowercase as username and put the temporary password. Then, you can check the alternative email for the MFA code to log in. New students who have already changed their password before now should use their existing login details. However, if you forgot your password or your password is not working, click on "Forgotten Password", and get the password reset link in your alternative email, change your password and then log in. Now check the alternative email to receive the MFA code. If you'd prefer to get the code on your mobile device after the first sign-in, watch this video on setting up MFA with Google Authenticator App. The video will also assist you to sign in and change your password. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNpzuV0MOs8 For further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at lcms@noun.edu.ng. |
Weekend Updates Online Facilitation Update Online facilitation will effectively commence on Monday, 7th October 2024. The courses and respective schedules can be accessed using the following link https://mylearningspace.nouedu2.net/info/facilitation-timetable?field_facilitator_faculty_target_id_1=All&field_courses4_fac_course_code_value=&field_day_for_facilitation_value=All&field_semester_value=2024_2&field_host_department2_value=All&field_crs4fac_level_value=All Any course you searched and it's not displayed indicates that there's no facilitation scheduled for that particular course. E-Learning Portal The e-learning portal is now up and online facilitation begins on October 7th. It's essential to have your e-learning portal set up. Returning students should use their existing password. New students, keep an eye on your student email for your temporary password. Important Update on Student Portal Glitch The issue of free credits or auto-semester registration in the student portal has been resolved by management. If you took advantage of this glitch, please check your portal again as everything has been reset to normal—NOUN doesn’t offer free bonuses! 😂 Key Reminder "Your student email is the gateway to your portal." Without it, you won't be able to access most portal services. Thank you. |

Key Points from the VC Meeting with NOUN Students 1. Complaint Handling: Students facing any issues are encouraged to visit their respective study centers to lodge complaints for quicker resolution. 2. Examinations: Due to ongoing issues with the student portal, examinations will be postponed. The new exam dates will be announced, and the current academic calendar will be adjusted accordingly. 3. TMA (Tutor-Marked Assignments): - The commencement date for TMA has not yet been announced. - Students found guilty of TMA misconduct, as seen last semester, will face penalties. All students are advised to be cautious and follow the guidelines. 4. Course Materials: Only students who complete their registration on time will be able to get the hard copies of their course materials. Late registration may result in incomplete or unavailable course materials. 5. Social Media Posting: The management urges students to stop posting NOUN-related issues on social media as it harms the institution’s reputation. Instead, all complaints should be reported at the study centres. 6. E-Learning Portal: For students who are unable to see their courses on the e-learning portal, the management is waiting for more students to register. Once a substantial number of registrations are completed, the courses will be uploaded, which is expected to start from next week. 7. Graduation List: The Vice-Chancellor mentioned that a meeting with the senate will be held to discuss releasing the graduation list every semester, instead of waiting until the end of the academic session. 8. Registration Deadline for 2024_2 Semester: No update has been provided yet regarding the closing date for 2024_2 semester registration. 9. Online Facilitation and TMA: No specific dates have been announced for "Online Facilitation" and the start of TMA. 10. Student Email: The student school email is now compulsory for all students. It will be required for the majority of portal activities, so ensure that it is functional and accessible. 11. General Advice: Students are encouraged to always stay prepared and plan ahead for their studies at NOUN |
