2024_1 TMA Misconduct with incomplete results

If you were booked for TMA misconduct in 2024_1 and you did not re-attempt, and you now have incomplete results you are are required to re-register the affected courses for exam only.

Available options are:

(a) Take only the TMA for this semester (2024_2), and your examination results from the previous semester (2024_1) will be processed alongside the new TMA you take this semester.

(b) Take both the new TMA and the new exam for this semester (2024_2), and they will be processed together.

(c) If you are satisfied with your performance in the 2024_1 semester examination, you may take only the new TMA for this semester. Otherwise, take both the new TMA and the new examination.

Anthonyo15:
Breakdown of JAMB Regularization Registration for National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Students

According to the memo from the Registrar's office, dated Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The JAMB Regularization Registration is now available, targeting students enrolled between 2017 and 2023. This includes students whose matriculation numbers begin with NOU17, NOU18, NOU19, NOU20, NOU21, NOU22, and NOU23.

The purpose of this registration is to assist students interested in applying for the Federal Government Loan (NELFUND). Obtaining a JAMB Registration ID is a prerequisite for accessing this loan, which can be a valuable resource for funding your education.

While there are significant benefits to having a JAMB Registration ID, including its potential necessity for future administrative processes within the university, it's important not to feel pressured. If you are confident in your ability to raise funds yourself for your school fees, you may choose to complete the registration at your own pace.

That being said, it's advisable to complete the registration when you can, as there may be a future need for the JAMB Registration ID in other university-related matters.

Please remain calm and take the necessary steps at a time that works best for you.

Thank you.

Dear Students Admitted from 2017 to 2023

If you have successfully registered on the JAMB Portal, forward a copy of your Registration slip in PDF to aogunleye@noun.edu.ng. This is to enable us to proceed with your application.

Also note that for those candidates having issues completing their JAMB registration, the University is communicating your complaint to JAMB for resolution.

Thank you.

Important Notice and Advise

Dear Students,

We care about your experience and want to ensure a smooth start to the semester. Please be aware that the new school portal is still under construction, and several issues have arisen, including:

- Problems with payment reflection
- Portal password difficulties
- Disappearance of registered courses
- Invalid matric numbers for some returning students
- Issues with NOUN official email
- And many others.

To avoid early semester problems and potential financial losses, we advise you to wait until the portal is fully functional. Currently, the only activities available at NOUN study centres are:

- Admission processing
- Collection of completed practical works (projects, seminars, SIWES, etc.)

Please do not rush into anything, and be cautious of online or physical agents who may push you into making hasty decisions for their own gain. We're here to guide you and keep you updated on any new developments from the school management.

Stay calm, and wait for our update when the portal is at least 89% functional. Your patience is appreciated.

Extension of GST302 Business Plan Upload and Presentation

To: All Students
From: Management
Date: May 18, 2024
Subject: Extension of GST302 Business Plan Upload and Presentation

We are writing to inform you about the extension of the deadline for the GST302 Business Plan upload and presentation. This decision has been made for the following reasons:

1. 60% of students are yet to upload their business plans.
2. 10% of students have left their business plans in draft form, which is not valid for grading until submitted.
3. Approval for extension of courses and exam registration until May 21, 2024.

During today's facilitation session, following consultations with our coordinator, a request for an extension was made to ensure all requirements are met adequately.

Therefore, the management has approved an extension. The new deadline for the closure of GST302 Business Plan upload and presentation is May 31st, 2024.

All students who are yet to upload their plans, those who have plans saved as drafts, and those who have not yet presented are advised to complete all necessary tasks before the new deadline. Please note, there will be no further extensions granted.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,
