When it becomes clear to obi that he will need to contest the ticket , you will see him run away and find another party to join.

At no time has this Gregory ever contested a party ticket. Ojukwu handed him APGA gubernatorial ticket unopposed. LP gave him the ticket unopposed.

What I do know is that Obi won't be offered automatic ticket and there will be many spoilers who will join LP to check him getting the ticket. He has already factionalized the LP beyond redemption so don't expect the Abure and Pa Lamidi faction to hand over the ticket to him. I also see a northern candidate emerge that will take most of the northerm delegate vote. Apapà faction will secure SW delegate vote and Abure will do all to ensure NC delegate votes do not go to obi. Even Edo faction will present their own candidate that they will vote. PDP will recruit several spoiler candidates from the SS to contest the ticket. At the end, Obi will lose the ticket to a northern candidate.

But I am sure Obi will quickly see this before hand and decamp to another obscure party to be given the ticket free of charge and unopposed.
