Mrfeel:Lolz Orji Ozwor Kalu aka the "gift from a slave girl" who is your highest ranking Senator has come out to openly oppose the bill. Your obi is doing his usual empty mouth salad over this bill out of fear of not offending his northern buck breakers . The SE had shown they oppose this bill on the same grounds that the northern parasitic states are opposed to it - it ends the feeding bottle regime. |
One of the major reasons that promotes unaccountability in governance especially in the SE is because the populace hardly contribute their own share to running and developing their states. Governors of the SE and their citizens have an unwritten rule between them that the Federal allocations are for the governors and the governors should hands off taxing them. They even believe that the governor has every right to recoup his "investments" in running for office by dipping his hands in the state treasury that is 100% funded by federal allocations. Despite the high volume of trade in states like Anambra and Abia, the state governors appear unwilling to roll out a tax regime on their trading bloc. You can also see a pattern between states/regions that oppose this bill and those in support. It's only the restive crisis ridden states and regions that are opposed to this bill and this is coming directly from their governors who just sit down idly waiting for federal alerts at the end of each month. If this scenario was not the case, will the governors of Bornu and SE sit down while terrorist wreck havoc? The only SE governor that is commited to end the madness appears to be the current governor of Enugu. Kudos to him. |
Mrfeel:I drag north here pass you cowards. Besides, you are all opposing this bill for same reason the north is opposing it. No difference between an Aboki and an 0koro after all. |
aribisala0:Where you purchase goods and services directly. Your local provision shop in your neighborhood is considered as a "Point of Sale". |
Same empty mouth salad . The crook and fraud who has added intellectual to his bogus CV can't even come straight and tell us where he stands. 0koro, do you oppose or support the bill and what are your reservations if any for opposing it . Simple. |
Free2Fly:Fool rest This bill is not affecting you petty traders. |
UltraSolid:I have been screaming here for close to 5ys that the SE is not in anyway different from the core north in their joint opposition to restructuring. I wrote here once that the major reason SE are rabidly against Tinubu is because they know he is the only one with the balls to begin the process of dismantling this fraudulent 1999 constitution. I was right. I also predicted a future political alliance between the jigadist north and now Zionist SE to fight tooth and nail to preserve the 1999 constitution My hatred for Obi began early on in his campaign when he declared that the 1999 constitution was flawless and must be preserved. I thought this was just appealing to the northern rent seeking establishment but when a video came out later on midway through the campaigns showing Obi swearing before a collection of northern elders to do everything to preserve the 1999 constitution that was when I knew the idiot was a fraud and desperate politician but moving forward and reviewing SE political attecedents, I saw Obi's position as mo different from Zik. |
But given that the SE and core north are filled to the brim with incompetent leadership , this would have been what they ought to correct about how VAT is collected. Laziness and ineptitude combined is why VAT is collected at the point of production or from corporate headquarters which are all domiciled in the better South (SS and SW) Everywhere else that VAT is law, it is charged on Point of sale. One way to go about remediating this is by ensuring that major distributors of consumable brands are registered in their licenced state of distribution and from there the state FIRS can collect VAT directly. The harder way is to first review retail laws and have franchised outlets in every community as it's done in Europe and the US. The situation where every street has 20 provision shops will have to go in place of a licensed operator within a given radius and operating hours. In the US they have 7/11s that operate 24hrs within a block area. In Europe you have tobacconist and liquor licenced vendors operating within an area and time frame. This is one way to get VAT directly at point of sale . The governors can mandate each vendor to operate purely cashless for certain transaction ranges. The only drawback from this is that consumer volume in Nigeria will reduce drastically because most of these provision stores actually are the main buyers of goods from manufacturers and distributors and not the populace. If every street has about on average 10 provision shops stocking up on noodles and other essentials which they buy in bulk, you will understand how these petty traders actually boost consumption and demand of goods . The provision shops do not even make decent profit margins because they are too clustered in one area. Creating licenses for these petty traders is one way to recoup tax and declutter the over clogged market of retailers. For airtime, this can easily be rectified by having the Telcos provide the state of location where their data or airtime is purchased and the vat applied therein. For alcohol, the Sharia states should stop being hypocritical. Alcohol is far cheeper in the Sharia north than in the South because most bar owners there have a near monopoly and sell higher volumes than their counterparts in states that alcohol is legal. Sharia states can easily grant alcohol licenses to bar owners as is being done till this day by the Emirate council - a scenario dating back to colonial indirect rule in the north where British colonial workers had to get an alcohol and tobacco permit from the Amir claiming they suffer from a disease that requires they use both vices. Instead of the Emirs granting such licence to liquor houses which is the norm today, the state governorment should take over and if they like impose 300% VAT on every bottle sold within the confines of the drinking parlours. This is the way forward. |
If this bill had been law at the time this crook was governor of Anambra, he won't have easiy diverted Anambra illegal FAAC allocations to his personal portfolio. The people of Anambra would have demanded accountability of their hard earned taxes. If you check, you will see that it is the regions plagued by insecurity that are crying over the end of their parasitic feeding bottles. If this bill was up and running, do you think any SE governor will tolerate anything that disrupts business activities like their Shit-at-home protests that has robbed the SE of the most productive day of the week? |
UltraSolid:He holds a title in the Katsina emirate that literally translates to "son of a slave girl" or "gift from a slave girl". He is living up to his ignoble position. https://www.nairaland.com/4699172/kalus-title-dan-baiwan-hausa |
Bump. He is living up to his traditional title. |
UltraSolid:Their position has been based purely on envy of both the SW and SS. Anything that will benefit these two regions , they will always oppose. GEJ was stupid to have flooded his government with them . Because when he needed their support the most , they all went lukewarm and were the ones to defect en masse to the APC immediately GEJ conceded. If in doubt ,was this clown not in PDP until GEJ conceded? Another more important thing to consider is that this bill both exposes and ends their parasitic dependence on the FG. This is why that idiot Obi was campaigning on the grounds of preserving the 1999 constitution and saying only good leadership in the form of his fraudulent personality can solve Nigeria's plaguing issues that date back to the Afro Marxist Ironsi decree 34 of 1966. They are the problem. The north is even contributing via agriculture , but what do they bring to the table in terms of real production? Absolutely nothing. Their economic model is one of the reasons our industrial base collapsed since the days of Ekweme liberalising imports at the detriment of local production. That same model is the number one reason for FX drain as we are now totally import dependant. I believe Ekweme as VP and head of the Economic team did this deliberately to kill the industrial base of both the SW and north . |
MindHacker9009:Olodo,the agent has a property that is sitting idle and wants to get rid off fast. He bumped your earnings to meet the mortgage and also property tax that you must pay every year. The agent is only interested in making a sale and getting his commission. We see this in the auto retail sector with car dealers pushing their cars at incredible rates that will amount to five times the overall cost of the car to people with bad credit or low income. The car dealer is only interested in sale and his commission from it. These kind of sales aways end up under repossession within 3 months by the lending house and are recycled as used cars and the insurance on the loan paid off. It's an old Jewish scam dating back to the 50s. |
tishbite43:Forget resource control. Carry your oyel with you. By the way I am from SS where the oyel is and not that bore hole drilling operation that you are into . |
UltraSolid:Not only that. He opposed Akpabio emerging as SP and sided with Yari so as to get DSP. He went on an anti-SS rant calling for the scrapping of NDDC but voted and supported SEDC. When I said SE is the biggest enablers of the hawkish core north since 1999, here is your typical example. I also warned here at the very early stages of this Tax reform bill that the SE will align with the core north to oppose this bill ,I was attacked by the Ndi IP0B Nzogbu headless mob. This same Kalu who is supposed to be serving a 13yr sentence , got a traditional title from the Katsina Emir which literally translated to "son of our concubine". SE politics and politicians remains the biggest headache to this country. |
gidgiddy:You are right . IPOB is separate from Ekpa's own. IPOB is a globally proscribed terrorist organisation If you step into Finland and flaunt your IPOB membership they will deport and extradite your ass in chains back to Nigeria. |
gidgiddy:True. And that's why Finish authority are allowing Ekpa free reign because Ekpa is not the since declared terrorist organisation known as IPOB . Go to Finland and tell them you are the authentic IPOB terrorist group and see how fast they deport you in chains back to Nigeria. |
LastGiantAlive:It's not the President that will fight your Biafra for you. Get your elected officials to do it for you. Or are you still waiting for Trump to come and grant you your Biafra ? Lazy nigger |
MindHacker9009:That's the fallout in not able to meet your mortgage obligations and it would have seen you priced up for higher value properties. Yes, you will be liable to filing falsified financial records but the reason the agent did this is to ensure you are priced up for a property he has to sell and get his commission from. This is how the US housing market crashed in 2012 as credit lines were given to people who could not sustain the mortgage. The banks offloaded their mortgage debt on the international market and when it was due to be repaid, the banks in the US couldn't because most of the subprime mortgagees could not meet up. It's an old long con used by banksters to get you indebt and recover property. |
The mortgage agent was looking forward for you to default by adding an extra income to your application which would have seen your monthly payments to include the personal income. With a default, the mortgage agent can then activate seizure and recycle same property into the market and rinse and repeat. It's the oldest Jew trick. |
gidgiddy:So what are you going to go about it ? Because this your approach is foolishness and hasn't gotten you anywhere but pure ridicule . |
gidgiddy:See talk. Did they consult any tribe in Nigeria when they merged north and southern Nigeria? Maga |
GeneralPulal:Conduct referendum today and see how they will all vote overwhelmingly to remain in Nigeria. I have since come to see their agitation as the most fakest movement ever. Their eyes are locked into Nigeria . Ignore the idiots. I like how this adminstration is no longer interfering with their madness and has EFT it for their governors and so-called elders to address it anyhow they want . |
Lekki needs a centralised water system. You can't drill boreholes there because the place is sitting on a sand fill recovered from the Lekki wetlands and being that there is no central sewage system , all sewage from soakaways end up polluting the already brackish water. The only solution to Lekki is a centralised water works. |
Idiot simp |
According to the Finish Prosecutor, Finnish law does not have bail provisions. It's either remand or a travel restriction both within Finland and out of it. IPOB make una dey try do research before you post your lies here. |
Stolen:Chicken 🐔 rants. Try your nonsense outside your yeast and you go see wetin you dey find. |
Pigstormentor:Carry your Biafra flag enter anywhere in SS first. The lesson Wike taught you needs revision. |
aswani:The current governor of Imo even went to court demanding that the Ibo people of Rivers should be ceded to Imo states. The case was thrown out for lacking merit as the people in question were not the ones partitioning the court but an outsider . They are crooks. |
overall90:You think Nigeria will dismantle because of you dead weights ? I lolz. Even if all nationalities in the SS choose to go on their own , how will that benefit you? Go and read how my ancestors ensured that they had monopoly of their coast and did not allow your slaving ancestors to sell their own people directly to Europeans. If you go , you won't be missed. If we in the SS go on our own, you will see real hostility . Dey play. |
It should be very clear to even the blind that SE opposition to Tinubu is rooted mainly that Tinubu is focused on restructuring the country back to true fiscal autonomy and responsibility to states. This and because he is their hated Yoruba man. I predicted this long ago that ibos will never agree to restructuring Nigeria. The excuses they are providing for opposing the tax reform bill are all pure lies. The reason the oppose the reform bill is because it allows for states to keep 50% of what they generated as against the current cheating formula that benefits the SE more than even the north. The opposition to the coastal highway is another pointer to Ibo hatred towards the SS and fear of a socio economic bridge between the SW and SS which will definitely translate to a solid political alliance in future . I never voted not supported Tinubu but all his policies so far are the best no matter how painful they are, they are meant to strengthen each and every state to look inward and to dismantle the corrupt and inept central government. Ibos are not a sincere people unlike northerners who are openly stating the reasons why they are opposed to the tax and vat reform bill which is the sharing formula unlike ibos who benefit from the current cheating that are hiding under their lies and propaganda. Thank You , President Tinubu, I never knew you were committed restructuring Nigeria back to its original template. |
