I believe you have prayed about this and asked God to show you the way. In addition, I also commend you for showing good judgement to actually waiting before making any type of decision to join the pastor.
These are the end days and there are many who claim to be called by God but in reality are the ones who called themselves.
For me, human relationships are like body parts, if you find a body part that's gangrenous and potentially fatal, you should cut it off.
Like someone already said up there, I have faith that you know what to do. Jesus will lead you.

Run for your life. You said you have been told in the past that you have a call, and this prophet must have seen your glory, and wants to temper with it. Nobody should be trusted in life, yes ask him about the electronic gadgets, but would he tell the truth? Or will he play with words to make it look like he is innocent?

Fact is, it is very easy as a child of God to hear directly from God about the issue. The first thing you should have done was to ask God about it, tho I feel God is already showing you that you should not work with that pastor,that is why you saw all the occurrences that unfolded.

It's not late to find out from God. Pick a day you know you will stay at home all through, be on fast, meditate on the word, tell God that you need Him to speak to you about the pastor. Keep yourself clean, tell God that if you are to work with the pastor, as I sleep tonight, may I see myself in the pastors church/let me see the pastor in my dreams. But if am not to work with him, let me not see him or his church. Repeat the prayers at night immediately you are about to sleep. You will get clear answers if you follow the steps correctly.

N/B: often, we cannot tell powers that are in our environment, so when praying prayers for revelation, it is good to pray with low tones/ meditation, don't scream and shout such prayers, so that unknown forces do not influence the reply to your message at night.
