EducationRe: CHATGPT And Plagiarism ::: Question by apohwani(f): 8:27am On Oct 17, 2023
ChatGPT is unlikely to be detected as fully AI-generated content. Here are a few points on avoiding plagiarism when using AI to supplement your writing:

1- Make substantial original contributions to the text. The majority of the content should be your own writing and ideas. Use ChatGPT to refine your writing, not generate full passages.
2- Attribute any text you do use from ChatGPT. If you incorporate a sentence or section the AI provides, make it clear in your citations that the source is ChatGPT.
3- Rewrite any passages you take from ChatGPT. Paraphrasing in your own words is better than copying verbatim. This helps make the text more unique.
4- Review the final content closely. Check that the writing flows well and sounds like your natural voice. Make edits to ensure consistency in style.
5- Run plagiarism checks on the finished document. Tools like Copyscape can detect if any large sections are duplicated from online sources.
6- Focus on original thinking and analysis. Unique insights, perspectives, and conclusions are harder to replicate than descriptive text.

With respect to plagiarism resulting from using AI generated contents, I want to know if I write a content myself and use chatGPT to help make the content better, will it be detected as an AI generated content?
