Pokello Nare and Elikem Kumordzi have reportedly welcomed a baby girl, Live FM Ghana reports.

According to the site, Pokello delivered the baby during the Christmas holidays in Harare. Her hubby has also joined them to celebrate the birth of the baby in the Zimbabwean capital.

The report adds that the Big Brother Africa couple's seemingly rushed marriage was because Pokello was pregnant, and her Ghanaian fashion designer lover had no choice than to marry her.

Pokello and Elikem got married June last year after two years of dating. The duo first met at Big Brother Africa Season 8 reality show and quickly hit it off.

Genevieve Nnaji will be 37 this year and time is no longer on her side. The Nollywood superstar has finally decided to marry this year.

The actress, who is also a mother of one, is set to marry 29-year-old film maker Alhaji Ishaya Bako. Rumour has it that Genevieve is bound and determined to be Mrs. Bako and that she really want to be wedded in 2016 so badly.

The duo first became friends after the Imo state-born actress moved to Abuja from Lagos Island base about two years ago. They’ve worked on quite a number of projects together, with the latest being the critically acclaimed movie ‘Road To Yesterday’, which was directed by Ishaya Bako.

Genevieve Nnaji has previously been linked with several high profile and showbiz personalities including D’banj and Ramsey Nouah.

In point of fact, one of the toughest decisions any African country can face is legalizing gay marriage.

In well-developed countries, the issue of gay marriage is no big deal. In the United States of America for example, same-sekx marriage has been legal nationwide since June 26, 2015, when the United States Supreme Court ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges that state-level bans on same-sekx marriage are unconstitutional.
Back to Africa, homosekxuality is found throughout the African continent. However, out of the 55 states recognized by the United Nations or African Union or both, the International Gay and Lesbian Association stated in 2015 that homosekxuality is outlawed in 34 African countries.

Ghana, is among the numerous African countries where homos*xuality is forbidden. Lesbians and gays in Ghana face legal challenges not experienced by non-homos3xual residents.

Earlier this year, founder and leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addae Odike stated that Ghana’s continuous borrowing from foreign countries may lure the country to legalise gay marriage.

This was backed by the Ankobea of Akwamufie and Nkwantanan Hemaa of Akwamufie in the Akwamu traditional area of the Eastern Region, Nana Abrewa Kwabiaa IV, who called for the legalisation of gay marriage in the country.

President John Dramani Mahama, due to pressures from the western world, was charged by the Christian Council of Ghana to make a clear policy statement on the country’s position on gay marriage.

At long last, the time has come for Ghana to legalize gay marriage. The state has therefore set up a vibrant 3-member committee to oversee the legalization of gay marriage, SrewLife.Com has learnt.
