RomanceCounselling Is Not Only For Married Couples by AppleofGod(op): 8:07pm On Oct 23, 2010
There is often a misconception that marriage counseling is only for those that are married. This misconception has led many counselors to change their status from marriage counselor to that of relationship counselor. The reality is, you don’t have to be married to seek marriage counseling.

We live in an age where couples are less likely to take that extra step to formalize their relationship. That doesn’t mean the relationship is any less important. There are still children involved, shared assets, and an assumption of lifetime togetherness. The only difference between married and unmarried couples is that piece of paper.

What is a little different is the perceived stress that this situation can put on a relationship. Because that piece of paper is missing, bringing a relationship to an end is fairly simple – there is no divorce as such. However, you still have the difficulties of dividing up assets and determining child arrangements.

If an unmarried relationship is under stress, it is important to seek professional help as soon as possible. The issues that unmarried couples go through are no different to those of married couples. Marriage counselors are able to help couples, married or not, work through those issues and so save the relationship.

If you’re in a relationship, don’t let a piece of paper prevent you from talking to a marriage counselor. I’ll let you in on a secret – they don’t ask to see your marriage certificate. As far as a marriage counselor is concerned, your a couple who have come in looking for help – and they do that very well.

Is Your Marriage Worth Saving?
Every marriage has its difficulties. Some are more difficult than others. But overcoming the difficulties in your marriage – in any marriage – takes work. You might be asking yourself, “Is it worth it?”

Every married couple that I know who has gone through the difficult struggle of working on their marriage has been glad they did. I’ve never met a couple who regretted saving their marriage.

There are different reasons a marriage can go sour. Every one of those reasons has its own solution. If your marriage is struggling from any of these issues then it may be time for you and your spouse to see a marriage counselor:

•Disagreements about money
•Sexual dysfunction
•Marital infidelity
•Job or occupational concerns
•Constant arguing
•Emotional needs going unmet
•Emotional distancing
•Drifting apart
•Religious conflicts
•Arguments over disciplining the children
These are all common marriage problems. Your relationship may have its own issues. That’s fine. Whatever the problems are, they can be worked through. But both you and your spouse have to want your marriage to work.

If you’re ready to save your marriage and seek counseling, don’t delay. Get started today.

EventsBelieve In God And Also In Yourself by AppleofGod(op): 4:08am On Oct 16, 2010
There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be,

, that's when you have to tellyourself that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,

but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life,

and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are, So when the days come that are filled with frustrationand unexpected responsibilities,

remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.
