Some of our past players we are praising to high heaven's today, if they were playing in this generation and with the stats they had then mostly for their club sides, there is no way most of them would have been invited to the SE.
I just checked Aghahowa stats, even when he was proclaimed hot at shahktar Donesk, he scored only 40+ goals in 7 seasons with them and scored none when he played about 20 games for Wigan. Aghahowa have about 50 goals in his club career playing in Europe that spanned more than 10 years.

Even the stats martins had then, there is no way he would have been a starter in this current SE, he will be invited to this current SE simply because of his talent, not because he is worth it with his goalscoring prowess.
The only striker whose stats will still stand tall today is Yakubu.

So going by club stats, Osimhen will start in the SE from 2000 to now.
Iheanacho, Simy, Moffi and Onuachu will make all the teams...club stats wise

That Olise guy play like someone that play from the wing effectively.
If I'm a coach,I would move to the right wing if I have another quality Am.
Yeah, you are right, he could play on the right wing, same way Eze could also play on the left wing. I feel they will score more goals playing on the wings than our current wingers, except maybe Chukwueze.
They are both good goalscorers from the midfield, so playing them on the wings I feel will be like salah who plays on the wing but he is always close to the 18yard box

Imagine getting both Olise and Eze would be a dream. That's our creativity issue sorted for a decade...
Again I have watched both Olise and Ejaria, though playing different positions, I will be happy to have Ejaria over Olise. If Eze and Olise ends up playing for the SE, Olise will have to stay on the bench for Eze.

Even if you put a good AM behind Nacho an intelligent defender can easily outsmart him, because Nacho is not aggressive, a bit slow and one legged. Therefore , the best option is to play him where he would get less attention/not the point man and have him sneak up on the box 18 late minutes and strikes. Thats where he functions best and his ability to score is almost unmatched.
This is exactly my stance also

Osimhen overtake iheanacho as our point man because nacho have been out of form and struggled for game time with Leicester city

No be by ruggedness, haaland no rugged in any way

Iheancho is a better goal scorer than victor and we all know this
Haaland is big, imposing and a speed star. Iheanacho is too sluggish to act as a point man. That doesn't mean he won't score some goals as a pointman when he have a good AM that's good with final passes

Simy's Crotone score goals too. Does that make the coach a good one?
Not all coaches that gets relegated with their clubs are bad. Some could be good but with bad players that doesn't measures up. A typical example is Scott Parker and his Fulham team. Another was Holloway and his blackpool team

I just watched YouTube videos of these players again. I feel we seriously don't know the talent we will be having if they plays for us and comes good at the NT.

Eze
Ejaria
Olise
Aribo(Already a SE player and he has done well).

If things goes to plan and we get all these guys, others should just vacate the SE midfield for..
Ndidi
Eze
Ejaria
Olise
Aribo
Nwakali
And any other DM like the Rennes guy to deputize for Ndidi. We can still have a solid midfield with these other guys even if Eze continue to exclude himself.
Iwobi should be taken to the left wing

Which philosophy? Rohr get philosophy? Which discernable philosophy can we really identify in this team? Play it safe and insha Allah?

Na question I ask o
Even though some persons has accused Rohr of been too defensive, but I think Rohr SE scores more goals than SE of before. No matter the opponent Rohr SE plays against, they are always likely to score at least a goal.
I only have problems with his team list and selections most times, but also compares it with SE of before when it comes to players invited, I think Rohr has also done better.
Na Person Carry Uche Nwafor and Uchebo go worldcup

Ejuke is not forgotten ohhhh he is a member of the squad...he was left out in the game but Russia were just resuming their league.
I do not mean the player isn't good, but I just feel Russia league isn't a good stepping stone for our players. CSKA has lost about 5 matches in a row if I am not mistaken and that has greatly affected Ejuke stats even though he is now a starter, they are not just scoring. I am sure if Ejuke had gone to the french league, from his wing play he would have gotten 10+ goals and assists by now, with countless successful dribbles

Ike Ugbo's agent, Oliver Ward, has confirmed that Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow are interested in signing the Chelsea-owned striker in the summer transfer window.

Allnigeriasoccer.com broke the news that the Army Men were in the mix for the signature of the Super Eagles hopeful, who is having a banner season on loan at Cercle Brugge, for whom he has scored 17 goals in all competitions.

However, the striker's intermediary has warned that CSKA Moscow face competition from other unnamed clubs.

"CSKA is really showing interest in Ugbo, but that's all there is to say at the moment. Ike has many different proposals," Ward, co-founder and director First Access Sports, told Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

Ugbo has been linked with another Russian club Rostov and he's also attracting interest from the likes of Fulham, Watford, Racing Genk and Monaco.

The 22-year-old has a contract with parent club Chelsea until June 30, 2022.

A key member of England's squad to the 2015 U17 World Cup, he has pledged his international future at senior level to Nigeria.
Ugbo shouldn't think of joining CSKA or any Russian club, he should learn from Ejuke that went to the same CSKA and has since almost forgotten.
Ugbo should be thinking of going to any good goalscoring clubs in france or Germany.

LOL..... don't mind them...
his move to Watford is similar to ekong kind of move...the same family controls both clubs plus udinese and he got to play because he had a European passport I followed him up then...
And he did a fluke in the EPL his first season and the next season, he scored only a goal.

He ran to China and came back years later, he still couldn't score a single goal for Man U in the EPL.

He was replaced by Cavani and his replacement has scored countless EPL goals already this season.

Ighalo should be mention in the same sentence with Makinwa and Ogbeche, not even in the same sentence with Emenike

Ighalo played 21 games for Grenada in Laliga 2 and scored 4 goals,( that's about 1 goal in 5 matches)
Ighalo played 4 games for Grenada during their playoff and he scored just 1 goal( that's 1 goal in 4 matches).
Ighalo played 58 games for Grenada in 3 Laliga seasons and scored 13 goals( 13 goals in 3 season. That's about 4 goals per season and 1 goal in 4+ games).

How he first qualified Grenada to Laliga and later become Grenada legend according to some persons here with these stats is a misery only to them.

He did so well for Grenada playing in Laliga and he was signed by Watford, a championship club in England, not even a mid-table clubs in Laliga or EPL signed him from Laliga.

I hail una oh

let's hope he is doing the right thing....ighalo is a leader and a proven striker in the green white green...it not actually a big deal including him in the 50 man list he can bring experience to the team and also note the fact we are only taking 3 strikers for any major competition.
Okay, so let's assume we are taken just 3 strikers to any major tournament today and with the forms our current strikers are and their talents, who will you drop for Ighalo? Osimhen, Iheanacho, Simy(that's currently Nigeria record goal scorer ever in Europe in a single season), Moffi (That has even scored more than Osimhen did playing in the french league, on the verge of breaking Ikpeba french league record for any Nigerian and a powerful left footed player) or Onuachu that currently scores for free?

I was talking about his first season in the epl. Truth is Sadiq has not come close to outperforming Ighalo's first season in the epl.
Peak Ighalo > Sadiq Umar.
Then allow Sadiq also have his first season in Laliga also, hopefully that will be actualize next season, then we will be able to compare Ighalo EPL first season and Sadiq Laliga first season.
For now, the only way to rate them is Ighalo stats when he played in Laliga 2 for Grenada and Sadiq stats playing in same Laliga 2 for Almeria.
Again, I will stand by my words that Ighalo 15 goals in the EPL was a fluke and a one season wonder, else how come he scored just 1 goal the next season?
Also in all Ighalo professional career playing in the top leagues, he has been abysmal, except for that singular season that he scored 15 leagues goals.

Only in your world was Ighalo's best days as good as, or even better than Simmy's. Simmy is the best Nigeria has ever had in a single season in any of the Europe's top five leagues since the Nigerian national team was formed. The other day you said that Ikpeba scored 26 in a single ligue1 season which was a total lie because Ikpeba's best for Monaco in the ligue1 was 14 goals scored in the 97/98 season.

Now back to Simmy and Ighalo;- Ighalo's best season for Granada was in the 11/12 laliga season where he scored 6goals in 29 matches and a total of 13 goals in 3Laliga seasons, compare that to Simmy's crazy stat this season alone. While playing in the segunda division, he could only score 4 goals in over 20 matches, compare that to Sadiq's crazy stats this season in the same league grin

In the championship, his best was 20 goals, same as Simmy's in the Serie B. In the EPL, his best was 16 while Simmy is already on 19 and counting this season alone, in the serie A. In fact, Ighalo could on score a total of 17goals in four seasons in the EPL, while Simmy already has 19 in a single serie A season. Do you want to know Simmy's total so far in the serie A? So tell me, how Ighalo is as good as Simmy. grin

Forgiveness this indeed is for you. Ighalo best is the worst compared to our today's strikers painting Europe with goals. And Moffi isn't even mentioned yet oh.

Ighalo first season with Watford was in the championship and he scored 20 goals. Sadiq in his first season with Almeria has scored 16 goals already with more assists.

Ighalo first season in Laliga 2 where Sadiq is playing now was with Grenada and he scored just 4 goals.

Ighalo has only had 2 good seasons in his professional career playing in the whole of euro why Sadiq has had 4 good seasons already, also playing in the same Europe

Did you say at Ighalo’s best he is not better than the aforementioned players?

Ask yourself again after answering the question, is a second Division player better than an Epl player?

Have the aforementioned players scored 15 goals in arguably the best league in the world(epl ofcourse)?
Point of correction, the EPL isn't the best league in the world, it's not even the most competitive, it's just the most organized and has more viewers. Else how will you define Man City been a runaway leader in the EPL while same can't be said in Laliga.
Now to Ighalo top flight stats which you want to base your argument, Ighalo has scored 38 goals on 148 matches playing for Udinese in Seria A, Grenada in Laliga, Watford and Man I in the premier league. Ighalo highest goals return was in the Championship where he scored 20 goals playing for Watford, the next season in the premier league he scored 15 goals and after that he scored just a single goal for Watford, and he had to leave to China. Ighalo has scored about 140 career goals and most of these goals were scored playing in Norway, Udinese playing in Seria B, Grenada playing in Laliga 2, Watford playing in the Championship and obscure leagues playing in China and Saudi Arabia.
Ighalo scored just 4 league goals in Laliga 2 and Sadiq has scored about 16 in the same Laliga 2, Ighalo best season in top leagues football was scoring 15 for Watford, Simy has scored 19 for crotone. Ighalo played about 73 Laliga games for Watford and scored just 13 goals, that's about 1 goal in 5 matches and that's poor for a striker. He also played more than 55 matches for Watford in top flight EPL and scored 17 goals, that's also about 1 goal in 4 matches and that's also poor

Oga! Ighalo scored double digit in the EPL and was the highest goal scorer in AFCON.
He scored double digits in the EPL, how many goals? 15 right? And Simy has scored 19 goals already. What does that tells you? There was nothing Ighalo did that even Simy hasn't done better in club football and won't do better at the NT.
And how many years did it took Ighalo before he achieve ANC top scorer? Not that he is a regular and prolific goal scorer. Or have you forgotten the 2018 WC and Ighalo performance? That should tell you his goalscoring at the last ANC was a fluke

I have nothing on the guy, I like him and his style of play alot and I won't protest if he is listed on standby or even given game time maybe in a friendly. The NFF need to start organizing friendlies for the SE because we have lot of strikers to test. That would make it 2 midfielders if Iheanacho is to play as a 10(AM).
Ndidi as DM, Aribo as CM and Iwobi will be drafted to the right wing, Chukwueze playing his usual left wing while Osimhen and Moffi strikes.

Osimhen and Moffi both seems too good and none should be on the bench for any in the SE.

Iheanacho played behind Success and later Awoniyi at the U17 and he did excellently well

well the superleague don't agree with you bro. They chose arsenal because it is a big club like city, Chelsea, barca etc.
Arsenal are richer than Leicester and the SL went for the richest clubs and not basically big clubs.
Ajax has achieved more than Arsenal, both in Europe and domestically, that should make them bigger than Arsenal but why weren't they invited by the SL? Simply because they have less money.

But as time goes on, if Leceister continues to qualify for champions league, let's say for 3 straight seasons, they will start earning almost like Arsenal
