Hello everyone.
I am a silent reader here, I just want to share our testimony

Our visas came out successful at 6:29pm today for both of us at the same time - MRes

Recieved CAS on - December 18th
Biometrics at Ikeja - December 22nd 8am
Got the processing email - December 29th
Visa Successful - January 7th

No interview, no extra email, no payment for priority, no request for extra documents
We only paid for the premium lounge to get an early biometrics date

I pray everyone here gets the same goodnews, we have all worked hard and God will bless our work and investment

This is the point I find confusing here...
Some people just come here and drop problems without stating clear details... How would they be asking for source of funds,, when many others have gotten Visas without going through that... If we check well now it could be millions were later paid in during the 28 days count or d printed date used was b4 d lump sum was deposited..Or it could even be dat d funds are outrageously higher than normal... Some of these could be d reason but they will not state it for clarity

At my sch,, d few Nigerians in my group that I know of,,only 4 have gotten Visas out of almost 15...

Biometrics was on the 27th of November, interview mail was on the 11th of December. The interview was on the 17th

It's not about getting the conditional offer letter,it's about cas...the reason why I said this is because as you've mentioned a visa refusal in your application,you will have to say the same thing during your pre-cas interview which might put you in a 50/50 situation.you could also be lucky depending on the reason for the visa refusal..this advice is just to put you on a safe spot

Don't mention it,whatever you do don't tell them you have a visa refusal,the truth can only be ok when you get to the visa stage,but when its to the school,don't tell them you have a visa refusal

1. Based on the new directive, you are supposed to answer few questionnaire in order for the embassy to determine if you are still qualify for the IW, and having qualified, they will send the Interview Waiver Confirmation Letter to you, with detailed information on how to submit the application documents.

2. The embassy also stipulates that "
Consular officers retain the authority to request a visa interview with any VISA applicant, even if they initially qualified and submitted their application through interview waiver procedures.

3. In view of the above reasoning, if your present VISA interview appointment letter is exactly same with those of none IW applicants, then i think the embassy want to see you physically.

Does the newly printed appointment mention your drop off location? If it does, then there shouldn't be any issues.

Good morning All,
I booked my appointment for Sept 27(interview waiver)on the old website and I have the printed appointment.Yesterday I got a link to the new site,I log in and printed out my new appointment which was still the same September 27.On the new appointment i downloaded from the new site, I ddnt see anything like interview waiver.

If you are not reapplying so soon or intend to reapply. You can send A letter to them explaining why you deserve the visa if their concerns has been answered in your application.

You should send a pre-action protocol (PAP) letter to Home Office UKVI before filing an immigration Judicial Review (JR) in Court and ask the Home Office UKVI to reconsider its refusal decision within 14 days.

What Is A Pre-Action Protocol (PAP)
A pre-action protocol (PAP) letter is a letter written to the Home Office, UKVI in order to try and resolve a dispute concerning an immigration matter before Judicial Review (JR) proceedings are started against the Home Office UKVI. A Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) letter may also be called a ’letter before claim’ or a ’letter before action’. All of these terms refer to the same thing.

Purpose Of Pre-Action Protocol (PAP)
The purpose of pre-action protocol (PAP) letter is to identify the issues in dispute and establish whether litigation with the Home Office, UKVI can be avoided. The letter contains the date and details of the immigration decision (the refusal letter), act or omission of the Home Office UKVI being challenged and a clear summary of the facts on which the Judicial Review claim against the Home Office, UKVI is based. It also contains the details of any relevant information that the applicant is seeking from the Home Office, UKVI and an explanation of why this is considered relevant.

Response To Pre-Action Protocol (PAP)
Immigration Judicial Review (JR) proceedings against the UKVI are not normally issued until the proposed reply date given in the letter before claim has passed, unless the circumstances of the immigration case require more immediate action to be taken. Home Office UKVI, should normally respond to letter before action (pre-action protocol letter) within 14 days and Home Office UKVI may face cost implications for failure to respond to pre-action protocol (PAP) letter unless there are good reasons for not responding within that period.

An application for permission to apply for Judicial Review can be filed in the Upper Tribunal or Administrative Court (High Court), as the case may be, if the Home Office, UKVI do not respond to the pre-action protocol letter within 14 days or the Home Office UKVI responds within 14 days but maintains their decision to refuse the immigration application.

The protocol does not affect the time limit specified by CPR Part 54.5(1) namely that an application for permission to apply for Judicial Review (JR) must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after the grounds upon which the claim is based first arose.
