All the South east states universities ranked are federal universities. The youngest of them was established in 1992. The federal university in Ebonyi State (Alex Ekwueme Federal University) was established in 2011 (About 20years after the last federal university in Umuahia).
You should have directed the question to all the South East States, not Ebonyi alone.

This CNG initiative they are doing now should have been done like 15-20 years back to reduce our reliance on petrol, but the cabal benefitting from Petrol subsidy made sure nothing of such happened . Look at when IBB left power till now, no major infrastructure was built by so called civilians ruling, not even GEJ. None built a single project worthy of mention anywhere in Nigeria, instead they were destroying pipelines in order to pay themselves amnesty money for a select few to be living large, some turned terrorism and kidnapping to business just so they can be demanding ransom payment and be cashing out.

I know he once protested at Ojota and all, but then he didn't really know the situation at Federal level. Now that he has seen and experienced things first hand, he has started pushing more funds to States, LGAs and by God's grace regions too very soon. Most Yorubas at Federal know that restructuring is the best way to go, it's the Northerners and Igbos that don't want to hear anything restructuring or State police so their excesses won't be checkmated I believe President Tinubu can turn the fortunes of Nigeria around for good and that is why he has my support.
