They do indeed. So I guess they'll just be replaced. It's a basic way for 'fuels'.

Moreover, China has quite a large quantity of natural earth metals. Some are good magnets.
Would it last for ever

I am impressed with your analysis. kiss You appear to understand electricity this quite well unlike dorox that's just a ..... lipsrsealed

But trust me, there are more unknown than known. If I don't get checked by public opinions, it means what I am doing is insignificant. But the reverse is the case.

Let's proceed to have more gentlemen discussion about this thing. This is the exact reason I am here. To learn from you guys. So please keep the yabbing away. You don't have to get frustrated about my quest. Even if you do, you don't have to unleash it here.

I have a very good background in Applied Electricity, got a Maths Major BSc, worked with MIT students, was an MIT educator in 2013 and a big fan of innovation. Just to tell you a bit of my background.I know (some things) about all these things you mentioned. Fine.

A lot doesn't make sense yet to people I have shared this idea with. Yes. A lot didn't make sense to me at the earlier stages because the whole idea disobeys some basic laws of physics. You're basically going through the same. But If I show you this thing, I am wondering what you'll say. maybe you'll tear it apart, looking for a battery, and when you find none, you'll probably proceed to call it magic like the last person did.

Theoretically, the maths works when some limitations in these laws are ignored. This was my discovery and the idea that came in while thinking of the lingering energy issue in Nigeria.
Practically, I must inform you that gravity, energy in spring and a very skillful design & positioning (definitely need improvements) are all employed in this prototype.

Just chill and let's find a proper medium to discuss if you don't mind. lookup my moniker on the app on my signature and chat me up.
Every great business/partnership started from a simple conversation.

Dont you think the magnets would eventually loose their magnetism

What about it?

Majority of power plants in existence do not utilize oil derivatives but are rather coal fired, nuclear, gas and hydro dams.

If you are talking of home generators, this is only limited to Nigeria as Nigeria is the only country with a high demand for personal generators and inadequate power supply.

Nigerians are the only people on earth who can buy and run personal generators and at the same time have need for one.
what about eliminating nuclear, gas and coal powered stations and reducing emissions

MudRaker:

Firstly, the technology to harness hydrogen from water exists but you will need more energy to harvest hydrogen than whatever you will get.

Lastly, the real value of crude is not as a convenient fuel source but rather as a major derivative of virtually any synthesised compound.

Look at the device you are using and imagine how cumbersome, bulky and very expensive it would be if not for hydrocarbon derivatives.

Your screen would have been made from bullet proof glass and other parts from metal or wood.

You must understand that oil will still be around long after hydrogen powered cars are made and you can bet it will be much more expensive.

Take, palm oil for instance, when it was widely used as heating and lightning oil, it's price was far much lower than what it goes for now, although volume sales are much smaller.
what about electricity

It came up on the news ,that a young Nigerian had invented a generator that runs on water. Do you that think this technology will render oil producing state useless?
Science/Technology / Re: Emeka Nelson Invents Generator That Runs On Water (Video) by ARCHEMEDESME(m): 1:48pm On Aug 17
If it worked as abboye claimed. That it uses pressurized water from a DC pump to turn a turbine then we can keep reusing the water

Then why use the water at all. I am sure an inverter will be more efficient. What charges the battery? Let's assume even assume is solar charged. It will be highly inefficient.
I ruled out the hypothesis of using electrolysis a long time ago.

Yes, he is right. That's why I'm telling those who think it's only falling water that can rotate turbine. Their knowledge is limited to falling water. They don't know that steam has pressure. It is the same steam from combustion of fuel that rotates the coil in the fuel generator. It is that same steam from burning fuel that makes our motor move. Don't mind those shallow brain guys disputing the scientist who even never went to school.
following the explanation by abboye the guy built a mini dam

Don't mind the guy. He hastily generalized according to his elementary science knowledge and olodos like him believed and supported him.
The Simplyleo guy doesn't even know the working principle of that generator. He thinks you only need a falling water that falls on blades of turbine to rotate it. He's just a graduated learner.
And all those half baked graduates were busy clapping for him.
but pressurised water actually hits the turbine as abboye explained

Well, it still gets depleted in a way. That's why the tank needs to be refilled every 6 hours.
Does the water completely vanish

This is what the guy did. He uses the battery to power a DC pump which in turn generates water pressure which eventually rotates the turbine inside the enclosure. The turbine, of course, is connected to an alternator which eventually generates electricity through faraday's law of electromagnetic induction (Not new). Part of the generated current is fed back to both power the DC pump and also recharge the battery. From the video, you will see that the battery can be disconnected once the system starts generating electricity. What the brilliant dude has done is to create a mini hydro plant. However, In a typical hydro plant, the free fall of water (Gravity) is what turns the turbine. In this case, Nelson is using water pressure generated using the DC pump to turn the turbine (@860 rpm) inside the enclosure. This is his innovation. The design of a steam turbine is definitely different from the design of a turbine that will be driven by pressure generated by the free fall of water which is typical in a normal hydro plant as I explained earlier. Nelson's invention is the design of the turbine that uses water pressure generated by the DC pump to run. That is where his creativity is. That is where is innovation is. Remember, he did not buy the turbine from china from what I gathered. He used commonly found objects around him to build this turbine. Further information also revealed that the smart dude refused to open the enclosure for anybody. This is because that's where his invention or innovation is. For the thermodynamic folks, he did not create a perpetual motion machine. According to him, a full tank of water in his machine will work for maximum of 6 hours after which the water would have to be refilled again. The system is rated 1KVA. The guy has done creditably well and should be appreciated especially if you consider his level of exposure and education. He should be encouraged and professionals and investors should rally round him to take the project to the next level. God bless him and God bless Nigeria.
So the water is not wasted?

Its only possible to do this when you have excess energy.Few countries store the excess energy from wind turbines in batteries and use that for electrolysis

Quick guess
He could be using electricity from the battery to split water into hydrogen and oxygen and taking the hydrogen for combustion to and using the generated pressure to turn a turbine or power a hydrogen fuel cell
