the funny thing is she scripted the write-up properly as if she had been to Lagos, how can some one that claimed to have been to Lagos call those places slums?,
You claim to have been to Kenya, but you lie all the time to make Kenya look bad mamen, which shows the level of your desperation. Someone posted the owners of the 10 tallest structures after you made some very shitty remarks. You have been to Thika but never have I see you mention it here, you do not mention places like Kahawa Sukari, Ruiru, etc which are on your way to thika which have thousands of built units where people stay. All you talk about is slum slum slum

embarassed nice one bro, but the sad thing is that, Lagos have population of over 18 millions Nairobi have population of less than 5 million people but still have the highest numbers of slums in Africa if not in the world, how can these be, some one should explain it to me please, i am not understating at all? embarassed cry
Which we are fixing. Same stats say 66% percent of Lagos lives in some shanty or slum. 66% of 20 million is around lemme see, 13.2 million poverty striken people (3 nairobis) . Lemme repost the screenshot.

So this 6881 is still crying about Indians and isht. I have seen some stats which rank Kenya above Nigeria on page 220. Kenya ranks higher on HDI. In Kenya people live 10 years more on average. Poverty in Kenya are about 40% whereas in Nigeria it is 60% plus. Citizens get electricity, free medical primary education, civil servants get paid in time and I guess waaaaaaay better. Shows he has nothing to offer than insults. All I can see is a wounded wolf about to die throwing its last kicks

The same person who says everything is owned by non blacks yet a list of tallest buildings both in CBD and Upper Hill Business are owned by black people. Yeah also the tallest in Westlands

Kidero is not a drug baron. He is just a corrupt governor. Hassan John has that reputation I agree.

I did not single out Nigerians. Just that Nigerians are the largest immigrants group doing this vices locally and actually in most African states. I have been in South Africa, Ghana, DC and Angola and all the locals seem to share this sentiment. You are to African countries what Mexico is to the USA cheesy, cheesy

Your known habit of breaking visa laws is why you are given short visa validity periods in countries such as the US.
And when they go to those countries meet a white, an indian or an arab that has been there for almost 150 years they start bitching that they are hated and they should be loved because they are real africans. Nationality first here

Even, Britain, Germany, Japan, Russia, America and China can be decapitated by Israel, how much more Nigeria.

Compare us with South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Ethiopia in military power. I don't think Kenya can withstand our bulala. grin
USA, Russia, Britain, China really?? Germany and Japan are very anti millitary though.
We can decapitate you guys in 3 hours. And no offense to Ethiopia but they have a huge population. Kenya can deal with them in 13 minutes btw

I lived stayed in VI for 2wks at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Ikoyi at the Southern Sun for a week. During the time I visited some clients in Lekki, Yaba and also some famous clubs in Sululeri e. G. Lighthouse.

Lekki seems to be more of a nice apartment complex area with VI and Ikoyi having more stand alone houses. I think they have wealthier people saying there. There are more modern architecture like buildings in Nairobi while Lagos buildings have more of a traditional feel despite being huge as well

VI is very poorly planned and I hated the way the ocean looks so polluted especially on the long bridge going to visit from the mainland. There is also a very large floating slum there.

I would prefer the affluent kenyan neighborhoods of Nairobi compared to Lagos. This is because in Nairobi has a lot of forests in the town actually. So you have very beautiful greenery views though it is quite colder (13-24) degrees annually. But maybe because I am not used to the heat of Lagos being at sea level and Nairobi being at 5800 ft above sea level. There is also generally more to see in Nairobi since you can do safari drive inside Nairobi, there are quite a number of zoos. The Las Vegas of Kenya(Naivasha and Nakuru) are also short drives away from Nairobi

I also saw the king of yoruba who came to dine at Southern Sun quite a number of times. I was so shocked that a bunch of old people followed him ringing bells etc and that even very educated looking people bowed to him. I thought the Kings were just elements of Nollywood.

Yaba and Sululeri seem not so safe areas especially after dark for the foreigner. Also Ikeja. I also hated the fact that when you are a foreigner everybody keeps asking you for money even some people I asked for directions to the washroom at the airport shocked!!, club bouncers etc.

Taxis are very old and run down but Ubers are very clean and new. But taxis are way cheaper than Nairobi with a taxi in Nairobi charging double the Uber rate at any time.

Something else I did not understand is why buying a Sim card takes almost 30mins with fingerprints etc. I also noticed data is way more expensive there compared to Kenya. For example, I have 30Mbps cable Internet and TV at my house than I only play 56 dollars for monthly. Mobile data costs me 10USD for 3Gb data from the most expensive telco locally.

Most people from your country love sweet liquor, Orijin and Andre champagne in the clubs. Kenyans like bitter alcohol so I felt as if I was taking fruit juice drinking Orijin smiley And alcohol is quite cheap compared to Kenya. That I like smiley with a 750ml heineken or orijin bottle going for around 2-3Usd while in Kenya 300ml of Heineken costs you 3-5Usd depending on the location. Locally brewed beers are 2-3USD but sold as 500ml.

Cost of living is just slightly cheaper than Kenya as well. I loved the Nigerian cuisine though like most Kenyans who travel to Nigeria I couldn't handle the extreme Chilli in all your dishes shocked

People are generally friendly(African culture) but there are also a lot of people looking to cheat you on the streets as with any African country I assume. I couldn't understand why the airport authority in Nigeria let's a bunch of people in the airport who are not Travellers hence I had to bribe to even get to the airline desk. About 3000naira. Kenya is very corrupt but that is only in the police force and politicians. In Nigeria to even get directions you pay

Nigerian women are pretty but I don't understand why there is so much bleaching and wigs though. I thought Kenyan women put on a lot of make up until I saw Nigerian ladies. That was a disappointment. This frenzy is sadly becoming introduced in Kenya by Nigerians as you see with socialites such as Vera. This is such a shame as Africans should appreciate dark skin. But as much as Nigerian women are beautiful I noticed Kenyan women have more booty in case that tickles your fancy cheesy cheesy

Affluent Nigerians like the Mercedes G class while Affluent Kenyans like the Range Rover. The Honda is very popular in Nigeria while in Kenya it has less than 3% market share with Toyota being the primary car for the ordinary Kenyan.

Shopping for clothes in Nigeria is a better experience(more designer brands) than Kenya though for restaurants I think Kenya leads since any mall easily has 5-10 different restaurant chains even the smaller malls like Diamond Plaza.

Music in Nigeria is ahead of Kenya since all clubs play only Nigerian music with a few Jazz at hotel bars. Kenyans primarily listen to Jamaican riddim/raga, hip hop, Kenyan and Nigerian music, bongo then SA Kwaito in that order. Jazz and country is also common in better restaurants.

In terms of traffic, both Nairobi and Lagos are similar. Traffic at the Lekki toll station is as much as traffic on Mombasa road in Nairobi.

For public vehicles, Nairobi has loud and very pimped matatus so that may not be comfortable while Lagos has very old ones.. Can't recall their name. Both are however prone to pick pocketing. I never boarded the Lagos ones but I was told that I should avoid them and only use taxis or the company car.

Nairobi is undergoing more road expansions though but the proposed introduction of toll gates may result to a Lekki traffic situation. Time will tell.

Large businesses in Nigeria seem to be predominantly international companies e.g. Shoprite while Kenya has more local successes even though some are owned by indigenous Indians e.g. Nakumatt and Bidco
You forgot rock and Heavy Metal. In Kenya we have quite a number of rock and metal bands. Also Rock dedicated shows like The fuse on capital fm and 24/7 rock station, Xfm and festivals like Rocktoberfest

Well I responded because I had seen you spam the last page with your jests over the refineries. So there's no need to make a turn around right now. Continue to laugh.
Power had always been government too until recently. Transmission is still in the purview of the government. We can't even generate 3000M properly. Don't stop tho, if it makes you wanna laugh, then laugh, you can't be lynched for it.
But like I said earlier, Power is one of what will be sorted out by that infamous construction.
Laughing at an African country coz of problems is stupid really. I know we got some shit here too, but we are fixing it. Why would I laugh at yours??

Yes we do have problems with our refineries. Bad governance of many years made them moribund. Yes it's bad for a gigantic country like Nigeria, so you can laugh over it all you can, but trust me your jests are gonna be short-lived.
One of the biggest refineries in the world is already underway. With a production capacity that will see Nigeria exporting it's excess by 2018/2019, just two years from now.
The construction has numerous effects including the generation of 12000MW electricity as well as fertilizers and many other derivatives for export.
This time it's not a government venture, it's private and the antecedents of the owner have always proved successful and timely.
We wont laugh about it, no need. Hope you overcome your hurdles. And is your Electricity department privatised or is it under the government??

"Britam Tower | Upper Hill | is just 200m | 31 fl | " meaning the rest of the building is just an extended steels .. Eko pearl(Lagos) can also decides to add same extended steel to its build and tag it "Tallest building in Africa"..so what?
Lets wait it gets finalised and see, as far as I know it is currently ranked the second tallest. You can die in jealousy if you want

In Westlands they are building six highrise buildings a once btw 176m/141m/93m/86m/83m/81m | 43/35/28/25/24/24 fl U/C
Using maths then the highest tower in Eko can be is around 135m. 176m 43 floors still shorter that Britam btw

Great!, (Britam Tower is a 31 storey building under construction in Upper Hill) while eko towerers is 34,33,32,20..), Nairobifirstly British American Investment Company (Mauritius) owned Britam Holdings Limited, previously known by as British-American Investments Company Kenyans only have shares of the building at the stock markets
"the group's operations commenced in Kenya in 1965 with the opening of the first office in Nairobi as a foreign branch of British-American Insurance Company Limited, headquartered in the Bahamas. A local company was incorporated on 14 November 1979 as British-American Insurance Company (Kenya) Limited under the Companies Act as a private limited liability company following a government directive that all branches of foreign owned insurance companies must be incorporated locally. By this time, the Company had established nine branches across Kenya. This local incorporation represented the first step in the localisation of the Company. In 1984, local Kenyan investors acquired 33.33 percent of the shareholding in line with government directives
Britam is 200m tall, the tallest in Eko is around 158m tall if I am not wrong. You count height of a building by metres upwards not floors bruh. And I do not know a lot about Britam but you can see they say localisation
