jln115: Ahhhh.....South Africa will soon be shittier than Namibia in 15s if SARU decides to keep Allister Coetzee. They should take a page out of SA 7s acadamy book on development structures, the 7s team is proof that with proper grassroot development there will be no need for choosing quotas and transformation will happen naturally and players can be chosen on merit and merit alone.
Me and a friend were talking today about how good Mike Friday did with Kenya....but honestly Ben Ryan would be even better. And there are the latest results, NZ has lost to SA. But I am rooting for England to win the main cup. Kenya face Fiji, hope Kenya beats the Olympic and world sevens series champions.

iblawi: I just discovered that nigeria is the highest producer of over 20 different far produce in Africa. Rice
Palm oil
Groundnut
Millet
Sorghum
Casava
Yam
Maize
Tomatoes
Chili pepper
Soybeans
Ginger
Okra
Pineapple
Sweet Potatoes
Pawpaw (papaya)
Peanut
Sheanut
Bitter kola
Kola nut
Cashew
Etc.
The list is still counting.
Nigeria is also one of the top producers of rubber, beans, cocoa, Irish potatoes, plantain, banana, onions, etc
I see why the country is great and why we have so many enemys. We are talking about the world here, nearly 90% of those things you have listed are very useless to the world market, whereas tea, coffee are the main beverages of the world, flowers are somehow important for romantic reasons. Now who eats kola nuts? but you drink coffee, or tea. |

I really hope so too, but seeing Kenya being one of the core team is amazing, but NZ dominance is too much. I celebrate every time they lose, like the Commonwealth games, thank you SA for ending their streak. |

jln115: Correction: Fiji , South Africa and New Zealand are in a league of their own....they are the only countries that have ever won 7s world series.Kenya has the potential to beat any team in the world but they lack consistancy, a coach like Ben Ryan would do miracles for Kenya 7s but it seems he has his eye set to coach Japan or Uganda.
Also SA were without 30+ of their best athletes during last years Africa games, Kenya the same....we had the more import IAAF Athletics championship to compete in. I meant the 15s, england, new zealand, aussie, south africa, and france to some extent. Fiji and samoa etc are not good there Uganda and Zim are always in and out of the sevens series, Kenya is constant. Yeah and Fiji are the champs, I know, and Kenya did beat them in one of the main cup finals btw, not so weak. Mike Friday was doing good for Kenya but he kinda had a fall out with the board, he went to USA and they have been better |

https://alumni.stanford.edu/get/page/magazine/article/?article_id=54928http://allafrica.com/stories/200808150070.htmlFor seven memorable minutes, the world stood up and watched as brilliant Kenyan swimmer Jason Dunford held the Olympic 100 metres butterfly record that he shattered on the way to making it to Friday’s semi-finals of his speciality at Beijing’s National Acquatic Centre. Stunned swimming analysts froze in awe inside the 18,000-seater “Water Cube”, one of Beijing’s architectural masterpieces, as the 21-year-old student of human physiology at Stanford University swam 51.14 seconds to break American Michael Phelps ’ old mark of 51.25 that he set at the Athens Games four years ago. Kenyans are gooooood btw |

GERALD710: Because in your infantile brain, a hungry person can run a full marathon of 42 km without dying in the process right Majority of Kenyan runners come from the Kalenjin tribe, actually almost all of them, they donnt run because they are hungry, actually they are from a very fertile region of Kenya |

shizzy7: Our team don't just win in Paralympics, we break record.
The ONLY sport you're good at is athletics. Even Obama had to run from Kenya to America .
Leave rugby for south Africa. South Africa, New Zealand, Aussies and England are in the league of their own, NZ being the leader. When it comes to 7s Rugby Kenya is one of the core teams, say something like the English premier league Kenya can be compared to Everton, not weak and not the very strongest. Whether you like it or not Kenya rugby team is quite good Kenya usually sends team B to All African games, they see it as a practice tournament. Kenyans might be good at running but they are world champions, not local champions. In track an field Kenyans participate too and the world Javelin champion is kenyan, Cricket Kenya has been shit lately but Kenya is quite good here too, made it to World cup semifinals at one time This years Olympics Kenya had 6golds, 6silvers, and 1bronze , and NIgeria had 1bronze . in the entire history of olympics Nigeria has only won 3 gold medals whereas Kenya has thirty plus gold medals You cannot belittle that, now can you?? |
