Whether NDA or no NDA we are still bond as we use to be. Atleast there use to be a one 68RC-family but today where is it?, we should rather think of the task ahead whether we become successful or not we must meet alot challenge but our regards to nature will solve many.

While I was a kid I wanted to be an engineer, as time goes I reverted to being a Doctor, and later a Pilot during my early teenage, my first year in Senior Secondary School I was selected as a science student base on the JSSCE apptitude exam, and I thought dreams of being a Pilot was around, but as time went I got to love "justice" so i ported to art department just to become a Lawyer. My parent where really shocked with my action but they can't choose me a career, even my peers felt like I was unserious but I choose to do what makes me comfortable.

Just the following year after SSCE, voila the passion of being a Military-Man aroused I told my mum of this and she never denied my dream. Sincerely my first shot was 68RC, though that shouldn't have been my first attempt but due to love for creativity I decided to get some like-knowledge. A classmate of mine once looked down at me she said I don't know my stand, was she wrong? No she was right with the wrong sentence.

What you become has been endorsed by God, we only take attempts of what our eyes appease to the brain and not the spirit, and if you don't excel then you're not qualified (not in academics or whatsoever). If I try and try and I don't make it that is I am not suppose to be there.

No haste in life!, if our successful cadets knew they will be among those God will grant mercy into the NDA they will never bother to work hard.

69-prospectives, be ready for the worst and accept the outcome whatever way it comes.

But pls dey don't call ex-boiz and ex-jams civilians cos we are usually enrolled in2 d military upon Our POP tho ex-boiz hv bin suspended 4 a while tho dey are really fighting for it 2 b resumed by well positioned senior ex-boiz... We wore camo our uniform 4 6yrs Bro and westill do dat without being questioned or queried by any military personnel....
I don't like d idea of any1 calling me a fool even if u are a cadet.... I find it insulting moreover a cadet hv power over me wen I am in d academy and nt even wen I haven't enrolled yet in it.... Cadets are dismissed, withdrawn at even der termer4 so I don't care a reason for any1 2 b on a high horse... Cos na God get final yarn...
And 4 ur info all my life I hv wanted 2 b a military man moreover I cum from a real deep military background so I hv bin in d life right from infant...

Am happy 4 all cadets guy.... 90% of all my frnds and few of my relatives are cadets and but I believe in respect of personality cos no1 know d future......

Now if you may, ask any of these ur friends that was given airforce if airforce was wat they chose initially. Infact I shouldn't be quoting U coz only a fool welcome at someone without full understanding of an issue.
There was a friend of mine during 67rc who chose army Bt was given airforce at the end, he was 19 ND has airforce body (if you understand wat I mean).
IF U r more than 18 ND are applying for airforce, the portal wouldn't even save ur info ND will neva summit it coz d service u chose is contradicting with the age u put nt to talk of during afsb whr u'd stipulate how old u'd be as at August (e.g 18years 4months). So u Cn only be lucky to get airforce if U av airforce requirements (except age which u might be older than 18) u might be picked for airforce. Arcike, take correction

am a fool tank u, but I know dat am way beta Dan u.. if you read my last reply, u would c dat I mentioned d criteria for airforce i.e height and weight..simply cos u were shortlisted shouldn't give u bragging right and 4 ur info I attended both 67rc and 68rc afsb. by doing way, dey both chose airforce as der 2nd arm of service... 67rc I was dsq 4 being underaged and 68rc I passed medicals but didn't face board due to unforeseen events... respect d way u talk to ppl...if I wrote ndaee 500tymz I will be invited for afsb 500tymz... but like dey say, Wat matters is d final list...believe me when I say u will c me in academy nxt yr... No idea bro, but base on my guess, we should be expecting the list in 2 weeks time, plus or minus 1 week.

You know d official date for d end of the AFSB is 9th July, so we should be hopeful for the list any succeeding week after.

Don't worry, don't fret, enjoy your civilian life now that you can, bcoz soon, you'll be drilled like bastards.

Was offered pharmacy... 2 cut d long strong short my mum is kicking against my academy dreams... I passed medicals tho but I seriously doubt if my name would mk d final list... I know wat would happen... Bin depressed since I came bk from afsb.... Last year I was screened out 4 underage, dis yr my mum just trying 2 kill my dreams.... But 1 tin Am sure of is if she succeeds I must still write 69rc....dis tym around without her knowledge....


By d way d list will b out either Monday or Friday nxt week .... It has bin compiled already and will get 2 d academy on Friday.... So expect it from Monday but e no go pass the 15th... Know a few candidate dat made d list.... Nassarawa una 22 and Audu Ibrahim salisu made it.... 100% sure .... Don't know if the list wil b screened again at d academy b4 it is released sha.....

Gudluck 2 d 1st batch guy, I have some advices for u tho....
Firstly do not put all ur mind in academy cos dey hv a history of always giving ppl hrt brks so just do ur best and leave the rest for God...
2ndly if u are successful in d medicals, put all ur efforts in cuming out successful... Even if you can't do d task, show determination so ur supervisor would believe u are up 2 d last... Appearance matters a lot. .
3rdly Wat eva u do always address ur superiors wit SIR even if na clown d cadet b, believe me u no go won buy job b4 u even get academy cos u would regret it.
4thly, Wat eva u do, b bold wen speaking. It would increase ur chances cos dey like ppl dat are bold and fearless but please no go dey shout ooo... I no send u 4 dat 1.
And lastly cum bk and share ur experiences 2 we d batch 2 candidates.... Also please try 2 find out Wat made some ppl fail in d medicals... It would be useful for us dat are in 2nd batch....
