Then God separated the water so that a larger amount of water was stored in the atmosphere as thick clouds! Genesis 1:6-7
So it's this same water that God poured down on the planet in Noah's day after the flood God commanded part of it to sink to the earth crust while some were frozen in Arctic and Antarctic poles and the rest in the sky that's still falling back and forth as rain today so if all these waters should return to the earth surface surely the planet will be covered again with water!

there was no time when the planet earth was filled up with water,the study of geology disproves that,unless you want to argue with physical evidence.

Well before God prepared the earth for living His word said:

So according to the same storybook the earth was covered with water in the first place before God separated the water so that the largest amount of water was stored in the sky so it was the water that God angrily returned to the earth during the flood but after the flood he used a wind to settle the waters in Arctic and Antarctic poles!

The Bible God said He called down water to fill the earth to the extent that the whole planet was covered with water.
From His explanation the water came as a result of His anger as for where the water went please read:

But God gave attention to Noah and to all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark, and God caused a wind to blow over the earth, and the waters began to subside.  The springs of the watery deep and the floodgates of the heavens were stopped up, so the rain from the heavens stopped falling.  Then the waters began to recede progressively from the earth. By the end of 150 days, the waters had subsided. Genesis 8:1-3

So according to this account the waters were blown to some parts of the earth and you too will agree scientifically that if all the ice in the Arctic and Antarctic poles should melt planet earth will be covered with water. The tsunami was as a result of heat experience when water iced in these two parts melted just a bit but what do you think will happen if all the ice should melt?

ok back to the flood,since there’s no enough water in the sea enough to fill the earth and not enough in the atmosphere,explain where the water came from and where it went.
Also explain how the soil were able to recover.
Also explain why fresh water fishes and other animals managed to survive.
Also explain where Noah and the animals he managed to put in the Ark got oxygen to breath since such a flood would have destroyed the oxygen circle and them being in higher latitude with no oxygen.

if you know a thing about geology you wouldn’t even be a Bible believer cause the study of geology refutes Bible creation stories in many ways,geology refutes the claim that water submerged the earth for 40 days and nights,because water comes from atmospheres and the oceans,and there’s simply no amount of water in the earth’s atmosphere or ocean that move the sea level beyond 1 percent,yea many area can experience flooding but the whole earth wouldn’t be submerged.
I can point to many examples,we know the rainbow isn’t a sign of any god from geology I can go on and on.
Most natural disasters aren’t man made,it’s natural made by many factors from the earth’s core.

When God made the earth in Genesis 1, everything He made was good and perfect, but God didn't make robots, He made us with freewill, so you can see how loving He is and by His Spirit produce good results, He also gave man dominion over the earth and He was done with creation, don't forget He has left dominion into our hands, it is just like an adult builds a house and his child is growing there, there are things in the house that might not be harmful for an adult used with wisdom like fire, knife then the parent tells the child not to play with the electric socket, one day the parents went out and the child touched the electric socket and it changes the child's life, is electric bad for an adult? Same way God told them not to eat of the fruit of good and evil so what's happening in the world today won't happen, no one has any knowledge to do evil nor good just above it but those children decided and they ate it hence the fallen world,(man's consequences) it is only an irresponsible person blames God for the actions of men, the earth He as given to us.
