Companies in the Agribusiness subsector might be one to be added to the radar (hold , not buy for now) of a value or dividends portfolio. I was attracted to this sector because of the products category and their dividends generosity. A few negatives:

1. The sector performs poorly when there's nationwide/global supply chain problems.
2. There's constant threat to products - disasters, transportation, storage, etc.
3. Cost of sales is very elastic, and net income fluctuates with inflation and other factors.
4. Growth in stock value rapidly follows growth in earnings, shutting out investors who want to buy on book improvements - rumors are the deal, not news.

Bunge is one to watch - globally large, Canadian NTR is another.

You are right one has been on my radar since, when it gets to my level I will strike.

CGC will move with time, they will still need to cut a lot of things to strengthen their balance sheet. Gestation period very tiring u are absolutely correct and during that time shorties usually do what they like with it.

Everybody has their strategy. I don't expect people to be holding on to $CGC with the poor result associated to $TILRAY it was bound to get dragged.

On bitcoin, halving was in motion so you can't be tapping it but looking after post halving.

On $Foxo already down, but will be adding to it with my loose cash bit by bit(a long term hold).

Economic data(Inflation cum expected rate hike) will only do what it does best.

On FOXO I knew it will go down since it go down since is yet to brake resistance of 0.45 and most likely it will gap down to previous support of 0.25 which it did yesterday and started moving up again. At 0.25+ it was loosing 10% but closed at 5.93% so it will move if their management released press statement or even their q4 2023 it will move for KTRA since it has already done 120% gap up when the news of merger came so they will surely Short it until they are tired by q3 when they finalize their merger it will move. For those that took CGC with me last year it delivered over 180% when it moved from 0.38 to 1.07% was even out before they did their RS. For tilray if they don't produce results that is close to their OS that stock goin no we have left it since. I prefer health sector from day one because no matter what they will have one catalyst or the other that will push them. Clinical trials, FDA approval, Cancer drug success(this can give 2000% gain) Merger or outright sale. So health sector have catalyst that will always push them. FOXO is under health sector and wants to use AI in their operations so is a sleeping giant

MARKET IS ABOUT TO DO A Reset!!!
As we prepare for the new week, we need to slow down on buying. If nothing unsual happens to keep the bullish expecting alive, we may see the bear on full throttle.

So we should be prepared to take some of out money out of the market (temporarily). Then we should be prepared to start playing on the short side. From the look of things, among the 1st casualty of th8s bearish move may be the Gold stocks.

So, not a time to panic, let us look at our portfolios on Monday/Tuesday, we should see how the market is playing out and then see other sectors that will be bearish (Gold and blockchain industries are pencil led down already).

Wishing all the best, at a time like this no stock is safe, a big bear is likely to bring the prices of most stocks down including the blue chips (you can can check the price chart for: VZ, PSX, T, PFE etc they are I strong downtrend). Agains, conclusion is don't panic, mark down those stocks you need to sell af chats are bearish, not those you are to sell and take profits and you may rebuy at lower price. Losses are normal ( but we should keep them to manageable level, 25% of our purchase price, if you are well diversified this should be around 2% of your portfolio value). This may also be an opportunity for some of us with too many stocks in our portfolio (some have over 40) to look forward to consolidating some of the stocks such that we will have a portfolio that make us to forget that we even have some stocks, only for us to check one day and see that we have a stock that has been falling heavily, which we should have sold long ago).

That is why u have to stick to the strategies that works for you, I can trade any stock even if they are going to do RS what matters most is the entry level before reverse split and the numbers of free float after the RS. I mentioned a stock here sometime around last year AKA, I have kid lady friend who I mentor she bought AKA and they did RS as at last time she screen shot the stock she was already on 85% gain after the reverse split. If you enter a stock at 0.70$ the stock gets to 0.20$ before the RS is done and post RS free float is still around 20-30m sure they will shot the hell out of it and and you will loose and even wtout shorting u will still loose because u bought higher before the RS and numbers of from float. If a stock is doing a RS and will have free float of 400-1m post RS is hard to short it down any how rather they pump for like 2-3days then short the hell out of it. Check this stock RENT after the RS the stock has done over 300% reason the free float now around 1munits AKA is even a slow mover with free float of 900k+ check egio has done pump up after RS post RS free float is 3m+ so it depends on the free float figures after RS. If a stock has free float of 400k post RS any little positive info they will pump to 500%. Check HOLO chart in Feb and see the movement it has 1.8m free float and small news triggered over 3000% massive up. For like 2weeks but one thing is it will surely come down so know when to pull out. That was why I stated earlier, Support and Resistance is very key when buying stocks. If I bought at 0.20 and u did at 0.80 they can still pump to 0.30 before RS and I can still gain well after the RS. Typical example I was averaging down FREQ from 0.65 to 43 cent, some one here bought at 0.33 made more money than me after the RS and merger in terms of percentage gained. TCRT I bought at 0.09 they pumped it to 0.27 before reverse split they person that bought at 0.25 can't escape the shorties gun but me don Japa wit over 100% gain

Just looking at FOXO now and possible thing that may happen, they currently have 8m+ total shares and free float of 4m+. Possible scenario:
They will do RS of 1:10 which will bring the free float to 450k units then they will pump to stupor then do dilution before the share price goes down just like HOLO wit free float of 1m HOLO was pumped to 100$ before flogging now going back to 2$. Just assumption oo cos I usually look at worst case scenario. Newbies known when to leave in such case else you becomes bag holders

For the newbies, in this market you have to develop a strategy and stick with it. Am not warren Buffett mine is to make money and nothing else. I called TCRT here here and some one said oh small cap he can't near such stock. The stock gave me 120% before their RS. You must identify strong support level and resistance level first in any stock no matter the strategies you want to use and know when to quit. Pennies still remains my call.

On FOXO, the interim CEO bought 14% of the OS and another insiders bought, they have merger which has not been official (non bidding) if everything is official am sure of 100% here with lower free float of 4m+ it currently has strong support at 0.25, 0.28, 0.29, 0.30. and resistance of 0.45 which it has touched for 3times now. If it brakes that 0.45 0.60 0.91 1.50 it can do 10$ with time.

For newbies, I will advice we give much work here it Worth it. I will take US stock market over and over Nigeria stock. Naija stocks is for the faint hearted US stocks not for the faint hearted but if you put in the work and efforts it will SURELY REWARD you. If I had known about US stocks with the same numbers of yrs on nse, by now I should have retired money will be working hard to produce more money for me in Treasury bills, mutual funds, real estate etc. US stocks you can grow 5k dollars to 100k+ in 2yrs if you know what you are doing. When I started though I fumbled too like having to let my profits go back to the market, holding a stock like naija way thinking it will go up and gradually till the loss got to 50%. @yuk has stated we should not allow our loss get to a certain thresh hold before we quit a position, I learned hard way here. So newbies to get the best here put in work and am sure we all will build generational wealth here.

Currently TuHURA is not trading in the stock market and we can't evaluate the company. But even at that, KTRA is about to break out. I think I like the chat.

Chart will not really work here for now because each time the stock goes up, the shorties will do their work but few days to the conclusion of the merger they will surely push it up to around 0.20-0.30. when the news came out it has done 120% gain I came it a day before the news came out at 0.10 then moved to 0.2489 I sold to re enter back. That is what shorties always do when FREQ merger news came out it gained 77% I came in early at 0.65 then they started shorting it and I was averaging down they short it till 0.19 I average down to 0.43 then a day to the final conclusion of the merger they pushed it to 0.29 did RS of 50:1 then post merger price 14+ from there it was moving till 98 same will likely play in KTRA

Post merger price of $6
KTRA OS reduced to 1.9m
New company dilution of 7munits
OS post merger 8-9.5munits
If they succeed with their cancer drugs and got FDA approval the stock can do $50 with time

KTRA, they are margin with another company, the price is low at this current level in my own view. I mentioned FREQ here when they wanted to merge with korro and after the merger and RS, post merger and RS price was $14+ the stock moved from 14$ to $34 I pulled out at 34$ from 34 it gradually moved to 98$ if I had known I would have not sold. Same will likely repeat it self on KTRA
