Yeah. When you from some sellers, like AprilStory, on Jumia the global version of the android software is installed before shipping.

And then again someone bought his X5 and it came with the Chinese software and apps but he was still able to install the Google play service and update the phone and use it as 5.1 plus.

The key difference is there's no Google play service in X5. Google, of course, does not operate in China. That's why you won't see Android one on the pack.
The solution then is that when you buy from some sellers on Jumia, like AprilStory, the global version of the android software is installed before shipping.
And all you'll do is update to Android pie and enjoy the phone like 5.1 plus.

And then again, SAVEDBABA got his without Google play service but was still able to install play store and operate it normally.

After your update, your phone is automatically 5.1 plus as you'll see when you go to settings.

Jumia delivered my Nokia X5 on February 18, few weeks later, the charging port started having issues. I can't plug my charger directly again cos it won't charge. I swear this shit is really frustrating cos the phone will display charging after rolling your cable wire over it but for you to come back and see your phone not even adding a single percent. I begged a friend of mine today who is a photo engineer to help me look into it. He opened the phone and did some little work on the charging port, now it's charging normally again. I think I will order a magnetic cable now so I won't mess up with the charging port again. Please where can I get a magnetic cable aside and it's cheap aside Jumia? I should have placed an order from ali express but i will have to wait for like a month before it could be delivered. Please has anyone noticed the unnecessary ads coming up on his or her own Nokia X5 or x6? Is there any way I could stop these annoying ads from popping up?

Lemme give a shocking secret, dear.

The Nokia X5 with 3/32gb is about 48k.
Add an extra 10k, that's 58k and get the 4GB/64 GB versión.
It's exactly what I did.
And I'm using same phone to type this. Cheers

I don't know why they advised you not to, but I have used most of these phones and I think the only average phone I can recommend to people is this Tecno pouvoir 2 pro.

3gb ram, 16gb rom , face id and a lot more.

What more could anyone pray for with 50k??

It took exactly 2 weeks from Jumia global. And cost about 58k. Say 10k difference from 3/32GB.

Update:so i complained about buying a Chinese rom x5 and requested for a refund from jumia but along the line i was able to download google playstore, and the phone is fully functional.

Sorry dear. I can't think of what could cause the first issue. Maybe you should uninstall and reinstall the apps.

The second problem could be permission.
Have you permitted the music app to access your media? You can confirm that in SETTING>>>APPS.
