What's the name of this unit, please?
Do you have any contact there? Thanks

baldeagle:

Lost my phone 2years ago and was able to get it back. There is a unit in Nigerian Police that helps trace stolen phone. I reported the incident to the unit, weeks later my phone was retrieved. I parted with some money but surprisingly was returned later.

Nokia 5.1 plus 64gb with faulty panel but every other thing working perfectly for sale ....... 18k

My Nokia X5 doesn't come on. I'm suspecting the motherboard. Can I use this to replace the motherboard?
Technology Market / Re: Post Your Scrap/dead/faulty Phones For Sale Here by ARIINI: 7:55am On Jan 20, 2021
25k is too much.
You don't know if the panel is affected. And that's the important part in that phone now.

What's your location?

Daniel2802:

It switches on but the screen is so bad that you won't see anything. That's why I had to plug the powerbank to snap it.

I went swimming with it and someone put wet boxers inside the bag I kept the phone. Every other thing works. The phone in store last year was around 62k.

25k is a good buy, considering it'll look brand new. It uses Helio P60, I used to play PUBG on it smoothly on medium settings.

Nokia phones are very reliable and great value for money compared to Infinix, Itel and Tecno

Business / Re: Problems In Changing Proprietor Address On Cac Online by ARIINI: 8:46pm On Nov 13, 2020
Solution.

Hello everyone,

I got a query that the proprietor's address wasn't specific.

Here's how I resolved it. You can't change it yourself. CAC has to do it themselves.

I paid 500 naira to CAC via REMITA. I selected "changed in proprietor address".

After making payment, I sent a mail to CAC, and attached the receipt and my valid ID. I stated the new address in the mail.

They changed the address from their end.
Business / Re: Problems In Changing Proprietor Address On Cac Online by ARIINI: 7:53pm On Sep 21, 2020
I'm facing same issue right now. I'll call the CAC office to enquire.

Is there a solution to this issue yet?

How do I that when the phone won't even go into Fastbooting mode?

Prechy2836:
you'll have to look for the android 10 stock ROM and flash manually I think just Google it

That didn't work. It was that bad

Flytime:
you shouldn't have downgraded it Nokia doesn't allow activities such as this, rooting or installing custom rom

Factory reseting your device would have solved majority of your problems.

The phone started misbehaving after I upgraded to Android 10.
Do you know someone that can fix it?

yusfatedeeprof:

Anti-rollback protection, why did you try downgrading your phone to android 8?

You have to unlock your bootloader i think.....

TV/Movies / Re: Please Share Your TSTV Experience by ARIINI: 7:08am On Sep 27, 2019
No, sir. GoTv is from multichoice. It's the low budget DSTV.

STARTIMES is partly owned by NTA.
Cheers

Laidebrain:
But GOTV is also a Nigerian provider, they are a subsidiary of NTA

And sincerely, it is good to survey on issues like this, at least it will give us a head up to admire and embrace our products rather than make a foreign product our lifeline

Business / Re: How I Recieved An Instant Loan Of Over N1m Without Going To The Bank by ARIINI: 11:23am On Aug 29, 2019
Yeah, the CBN mandated banks to give out loans to encourage the real sector growth, or face stiff penalties..

But the challenge will be the bad loans that banks will fight to recover. Every Tom, Dick and Harry can get loans now.

Joy2Dwise:
I kept receiving pop-up messages from GTB on my mobile app stating that I was qualified to apply for loan but I kept ignoring them cus I knew that getting a loan is not as easy as that. I knew what I went through on few occasions when I had to take loans as small as 300k to sort out some immediate financial needs. It got to a point when I began to expect the bank to request the death certificate of my great grand father before they approve a loan amount that is not even up to my monthly earnings. The most embarrassing moment was when two close friends refused to sign guarantor forms because they claimed it was against their principle. I had to swallow my pride and go to a junior who eventually stood in as my guarantor at the end.

Out of curiousity, I clicked "accept'' just to see if it was real. Next message I got was that "your application has been accepted". To cut the long story short, I received an alert of about 1m.150k just few hours later and this sounded incredible. A scanned copy of the repayment plan was later emailed to me and when I did the calculation, I found out that the total percentage of interest is about 12% as against 22 - 26% which I was forced to cough out in previous loans I took from different banks in the past. This to me was a good deal even though I don't have a specific plan for it. Had to push it to my son's account while I wrap my head around what best to do with the money.

This instant loan and the attractive interest rate kept me wondering on the following:

1. Does it mean the banks now have so much money in their coffers to lend out to customers even without asking?
2. What is the reason for the low interest rate which to me is still far lower than what is obtainable?

I called my account officer to ascertain if I can invest it in FG bond but I wasn't impressed with the interest rate so I'm going to keep it in the bank pending on when I decide on what to do with it. Any good idea is however welcomed.
