There are three ways that you can attack these worm issues. Though fighting internal parasitic worms is a very tedious and serious one.The three ways are:
(1) Use of drugs like Albendazole, Praziquantel, Vermox (Mebendazole), etc.
(2) Herbal Supplements like Humaworm, Wormwood, Cloves,Extra Strength Oregano oil, Black Walnut Hulls,Centaury, Graviola, etc. (they are mostly foreign herbal supplements made in the USA,I don't think they are in Naija but the only one in Naija that is, Festac Town Lagos is PARACLEANSE, a Nature's Sunshine Products).Below are more info on how to attack these problems (mind you majority of us in the forum are big novices as well as medical doctors but it will be better you go for a test so that you'll know the particular worm you're to treat but I believe that nothing positive can come out of the test.

1st I would no way assume you have "just"worms.

RE parasites, low enemas can help reveal what bugs are dying without any “digging around.” Enema bags are cheap & online or at drug stores. The net has many sites telling how to use them. Use 2-3 cups filtered water only per bag at a time. You don’t want to go too high and wash away good intestinal bacteria. (On occasion, to relieve really bad constipation, you can go higher, though.) Add some plain, no sugar added, yogurt with acidophilus, or “live cultures” to the last bag & eat some. This kind of yogurt, especially Danon’s, is easy to find at most grocery stores. The enemas can also help combat the constipation often associated with initial stages of parasite killing and just help speed up the cleansing process in general.

Also, many people are not aware that they are gluten sensitive, maybe even have celiac. A gluten sensitivity test can help. Even if one shows up just at Level 1 in sensitivity, that means the intestinal villi have been damaged & nutrients are not getting through as they should. Also where gluten sensitivity is, candida is probably lurking.

Candida may be lurking regardless. One way you may find it is by doing low enemas, mixing water with apple cider vinegar or 3% hydrogen peroxide. Tea made from Quassia wood chips can also kill some parasites as well as candida. Kefir enemas can also be helpful. Use enemas after a bowel movement. If after such enemas you see things that look like string cheese or yellow gel, or white things that look like pieces of tissue paper, then you know a candida cleanse needs to be done. (Sometimes the candida looks like dark seaweed or brown crusts with mucous, apparently depending on its age & stage.) Another tip off is that, after you do the enemas you may have temporary die off in the form of cold or flu like symptoms or some itchiness & twitchiness. I'd personally get rid of the parasites first. Both cleanses cause die off and you don't want to overdo it. Cleanses do put extra stress on the adrenals. Both cleanses can take months. Be patient & persistent.

Some people say everyone who has had antibiotics has candida cleansing to do.

***SOME HELPS FOR CONSTIPATION & JUST TO UNBLOCK THE BOWELS WHILE CLEANSING:
If you eat 2 quarts of airpopped, hopefully organic, popcorn with minimal to no oil or butter (maybe some coconut oil) and a small Watermelon all in one day you should start getting cleaned out due to all that roughage for one thing.
Taking 2-3 capsules of magnesium before bedtime has helped many people. I personally think brand can make all the difference and have found Twinlab (cheaper at places like Vitacost & iherb) to be very good.

Some people really like Oxypowder but I have found that it seems to deplete my electrolytes or something because it made me feel very tired after a couple of days.
Blessed Herbs is, mho, the best bowel cleanser, but pricey.

You can do maybe 1 high enema a week w/o getting dependent on enemas, and low enemas (2-4 cups at a time) will cause no dependency so use as often as helpful. Be sure to eat acidoophilus yogurt to replenish good bacteria. Dannon sells this in the plain, usually non fat, no sugar etc. added version.

Some people use cascara sagara and it is effective, but you can get dependent on it. One way to counteract that dependency at least somewhat, if you find it's all that works, is to not take it every day. Chia seeds mixed in with soup or green drinks can be very helpful – though it may take a week or two for the effect to be seen.
It wouldn't hurt to put some quassia "tea" (you buy the chips & let them steep in hot water just like tea) and/or black walnut or black walnut/womrwood (again available at places like Vitacost) tincture into the last enema bag, and they can help kill any parasites.
***GENTLE LIVER FLUSHES (Best not to do until a month of paracides & maybe a month of paracides plus a zapper as otherwise they can make you feel quite ill.)
I will tell you what worked for me and it was gentle. It is a slight variation on the usual kind of flush found on CZ & elsewhere. It can help expel not only stones but parasites. I had no grapefruit juice becaue it can interfere with some meds. Orange juice worked every bit as well. No Epsom Salts . It can be harsh & I never needed it. Prepare a quart of water with about 3-4 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in it, sipped on from the morning to the evening of the flush. (Some people drink a quart of apple juice instead but I didn't want the sugar, but it works fine too.)
When I had that drink it made all the difference in how many stones I got out.
Then the usual. Stop eating after about 3PM and limit the fats to virtually none before then. Right before lying down drink the extra virgin olive oil + orange juice (abt 1/2 cup of each) quickly. I found it helped to use a straw positioned at the back of my mouth to avoid the taste as much as possible, and to have a good tasting lozenge type supplement right after.
Go to bed immediately, and it seems to help to lie on your right side for at least 1/2 hour before falling asleep.
The next morning (best to do this on a weekend for sure) have a little bottle of magnesium citrate. Wait about 6 hours and do several low enemas to help cleanse out the stones. This also lets you know how many you got out, too. You may see bugs, most commonly liver flukes.
Eat some plain acidophilus yogurt with no sugar (Dannon’s is such a popular brand available at most grocery stores) to replace bacterial flora and be sure you get plenty of electrolytes in your diet the next few days.
If this makes you feel ill, you may need to work on parasite cleansing for awhile first.
Repeat biweekly as possible until 2 consecutive flushes reveal no more than very few stones. This can take quite a few months.

***Enemas that reveal, & kill, Candida/Yeast
You might want to research on the web how yeast can adapt & morph after prolonged exposure to one kind of "yeast-a-cide" or another, & alternate what you use for killing it. One thing it will never adapt to are very helpful enemas using apple cider vinegar or else 3% hydrogen peroxide. (Maybe a tsp of each to each cup of filtered water, but experiment.)

It helps to put acidophilus yogurt and/or kefir into the last bag in order to replenish good flora, and to eat a bit daily. (Kefir will intensify any die off though.) Btw yogurt replaces candida to some extent and kefir eats it.

Those enemas will really help clean yeast/candida from the colon (after a bowel movement of course) but can also cause more die off. It may take a great many of them to get rid of it all but if you are like me you will start to feel like a new person when it is gone. Changing your diet is essential however and wheat, gluten and sugar are the worst offenders. (I personally think fresh organic fruit & dried strawberries & blueberries – plus you need blue things in your diet & only blueberries give it – do not hurt. If you want to be a total purist it may help to give up milk but I personally got my health back while drinking a lot of milk and the fruits mentioned.)
coffee enemas are good to follow up with after other enemas. They are great for the health, especially for the liver.
**MAINTENANCE
I plan to stay on maintenance for life. You never really know if you killed every last bug (maybe with Rife, maybe not, but I can't use that since its for those who are on no meds) and it just takes one to start things all over. You never really know if when you touched a grocery cart or opened a bathroom door that you didn't pick up some eggs. They even can blow into your nostrils through a blast of air outside!
I can't say that what I do is perfect, but I can say that I don't see parasites anymore.
Every single day I zap for at least an hour while at the computer. I prefer to zap at the elbows and/or ankles where the blood tontinually flows through the arteries.
Every single morning on an empty stomach(except for my meds and some supplements) I have some homemade colloidal silver (must be made with distilled water and its cheap to make your own & Utopia Silver is where I got my silver maker) to which I add a couple of drops of Aura Cacia Peppermint essential oil, a couple of shakes of organic cayenne pepper, and about 2/3 of an eye dropper of Vitacost Black Walnut tincture, alternated daily with their Black Walnut/Wormwood tincture. This drink does NOT taste good! That’s why I have a good tasting supplement in lozenge form afterwards.
Almost every single day I have a green drink (things like powdered wheatgrass, barley & fennel seed) to which I add at least ½ tsp. of Pharmaguard Diatomaceous earth. I usually don’t have much in my stomach at that time.
I eat very, very well cooked meat.
From time to time I also drink Quassia woodchip tea and/or do a Quassia woodchip tea enema. I have found this is very effective against both bugs and candida. (But you don't want to be attacking candida until the bugs are mostly dead due to too much die off.)
I'm not an expert, just someone who has gone through trial & error, like you, and found what works for me. So far anyway! :-)


***HOW TO KILL PINWORMS:
Pinworms are very serious. They can cause appendicitis for example.

You can get rid of them (though if others in the home are carrying them, or you are exposed to their invisible eggs elsewhere, such as in schools with little children then you have to figure out how to not be reinfected) with Noxema or some kind of harmless cream mixed with a good quality (maybe Aura Cacia) eucalyptus essential oil. Mix it so that it feels tingly on your anal orifice but not at all painful.

What you do is keep the mixture liberally on your anal orifice 24/7. If you have a bowel movement, you reapply instantly. Maybe keep a little mini jar, such as you can find in the beauty section of a drug store or grocery store, of it in your pocket. If you are a woman you might want to wear a sanitary pad to keep the mixture from going thru your clothes. Or if you are a man maybe wear 2 sets of undies.

It can take 3 weeks to 2 months to kill them that way. The reason this method works is that the pinwroms have to come out to lay eggs. When they meet the eucalyptus oil they will die instead.

Having said all that, I don't know but strongly suspect Pharmaguard, i.e. food grade diatomaceous earth (see ebay for one source) will kill them too and more simply. I would say use it almost every day for life to tell you the truth. It doesn't just kill pinworms. Mho.

Getting rid of all parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. What you need:

Black Walnut Hull Tincture Extra Strength Wormwood capsules
(200-300mg of wormwood per capsule)
Cloves capsules (500mg per capsule)
Arginine (500mg per capsule) - for energy
Ornithine (500mg per capsule) - for help sleeping

1) Black Walnut Hull Tincture

Take the recommended amount in 1/2 cup of water. Sip it on an empty stomach such as before a meal. Sip it, don't gulp it. Add sweetening and flavoring to help it go down if you have a hard time swallowing it, or stir it into fruit sauce. Get it down within 15 minutes.

The maximum dose kills any remaining stages throughout the body, including the bowel contents, a location unreachable by a smaller dose or by electric current. The alcohol in the tincture can make you slightly woozy for several minutes. Simply stay seated until you are comfortable again. You may put the tincture in lukewarm water to help evaporate some of the alcohol, but do not use hot water because that may damage the parasiticide power. Then take niacinamide 500mg to counteract the toxicity of the alcohol. You could also feel a slight nausea for a few minutes. Walk in the fresh air or simply rest until it passes.

For a year — Take 2 tsp. Black Walnut Hull Tincture Extra Strength once a week. This is to kill any parasite stages you pick up from your family, friends, or pets.

Family members and friends should take 2 tsp. every other week to avoid re-infecting you. They may be harboring a few parasite stages in their intestinal tract without having symptoms. But when these stages are transmitted to someone who has had cancer, they immediately seek out the unhealed organ to continue multiplying.

You may be wondering why you should wait for five days before taking the large dose. It is for your convenience only. You may have a sensitive stomach or be worried about toxicity or side effects. By the sixth day you will have convinced yourself there is no toxicity or side effect.

Going faster — In fact, if you are convinced after the first drop of the restorative powers of the tincture, take the large dose on the very first day.

Going slower — On the other hand, if you cringe at the thought of taking an herb or you are anxious about its safety, continue the drops, increasing at your own pace, until you are ready to brave the decisive large dose.

2) Wormwood capsules

Take according to the chart below. Take all of the capsules at one time (you may take a few at a time until they are all gone). To be completely free of parasites and stay that way you need to take 7 capsules once a week forever, as it states in the Maintenance Parasite Program. Try not to get interrupted before the 6thday, so you know the adult intestinal flukes are dead. After this, you may proceed more slowly if you wish. Many people with sensitive stomachs prefer to stay longer on each dose instead of increasing according to this schedule. You may choose the pace after the 6th day.

3) Cloves

Grocery store ground cloves do not work! They have lost their parasiticide power a long time ago. Buy them fresh from a "green grocery" or health food store. Take according to chart below.

4) Ornithine

Start by taking 2 Ornithine capsules at bedtime on the first night. Take 4 the second night. Take 6 at bedtime on the third night. After this take 4 or 6 Ornithine capsules at bedtime every night until you are sleeping soundly. Then stop taking the Ornithine and see if your sleep is as good without it. It is not habit forming.

5) Arginine

Taking Ornithine at bedtime may give you so much energy the next day that you don't need to take Arginine in the morning. But, if you are reducing (or eliminating) coffee/caffeine (recommended) and find yourself dragging through the morning, take one Arginine upon rising and another before lunch and supper. It can make you a bit irritable. If this happens reduce the amount you are taking.

New age limit for used cars out

· Zero duty for educational materials

·Import of textiles banned

ALTHOGH it is not deemed a policy reversal, the Federal Government has pegged the age limit for imported used cars also known as tokunbo at 10 years. The lifespan for such vehicles until yesterday was eight years. There were earlier moves to fix the age limit for imported buses and trucks at 10 and 15 years.

The government has also banned the importation of textiles and other fabrics.

In a five-year tariff regime released in Abuja yesterday by the Director-General of Budget Office, Dr. Bright Okogu, the government said that from 2008 to 2012, any car older than 10 years would not be allowed into Nigeria.

To ensure full compliance with the new order, the government has empowered the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to seize such cars from dealers and importers.

The same measures applied to banned textiles as the NCS was mandated to confiscate all banned textiles and fabrics from supermarkets, markets and other public places where they are displayed for sale.

The affected textiles are hollandis, English wax, guinea brocade and other fabrics commonly patronised by Nigerians.

NCS boss, Mr. Ahmed Mustapha, said that his men are set to invade the markets, raid shops and confiscate the items should they still find their way into the country in spite of the new rule.

The new measures evolved from the five-year

(2008 - 2012) new Tariff Book released by Okogu.

The fiscal policy, according to Okogu, is to encourage local automobile assembly plants as well as protect and bail out the ailing textile industries in Nigeria.

He also explained that the new tariff book was again Nigeria's second attempt to harmonise its tariff regime with the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) Common External Tariff (CET).

The new tariff also features a reduction in duties for some goods, being part of efforts to encourage importers of such necessities as educational materials, which now attract zero duties while primary raw materials which before now attracted 10 per cent duty have been reduced to five per cent.

Under the new regime, intermediate products like Completely Knock Down (CKD) refrigerators and television sets are to attract 10 per cent; finished goods that are not locally produced and which required no protection 20 per cent while finished goods that are manufactured locally but require some protection are to attract 35 per cent duty.

The new tariff regime is with immediate effect and has no grace period, according to Okogu. He shed more light on the new policy thrust thus: " The new book is in line with the World Customs Organisation 2002 Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System, which has moved from eight digits to 10 digits . This is to facilitate the separation of codes where ambiguity exists.

"The new tariff book is basically aimed at facilitating trade and industrial growth as it is simple and easy to administer. It is also hoped that it will lead to improvement in tariff revenue generation in the long run because of better compliance possibilities.''

Okogu appealed to the organised private sector to appreciate the need for "Nigeria to align its tariff regime with global trends because the country cannot afford to lag behind the rest of the world in this era of globalisation."

Under the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, the government of Nigeria had fixed the age limit for used cars for eight years. The government had said the move was to stop the dumping of unserviceable cars in the country. It, however, allowed unfettered import of buses and trucks to facilitate the movement of people and goods in the country.

The government said in the absence of a viable rail system, it was unwise to ban or fix age limit for imported buses and trucks.

But since the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua government came into office, it has taken steps to limit the import of buses and trucks.

But yesterday's announcement that the age limit for used cars was unexpected considering that the government wants to peg the age limit for buses at 10 years while trucks lifespan would stand at 15 years.

Industry Minister, Mr. Charles Ugwuh, said recently that the move was to stop the 'importation of vehicles that would require excessive maintenance." He made the announcement during a meeting with the local automotive manufacturers/assemblers and major importers/distributors.
