omooba969:His message was that that we imply bandits collect those fees Nigerians shouldn't conclude that they are in control. That response shows the people have no one to report to and they are on their own |
I remember when Lai Mohammed was minister of information and something like this happened his response was weird. He argued that armed bandits imposing levies on northern communities did not mean the government had lost control by saying agberos in Lagos carve their territories and collect illegal taxes in many cities across the south without those areas being deemed overtaken by terrorism. This shows the government are not ready to combat terrorism or protect the people in situations like this. If a minister can say that it shows that we are on our own. |
Did her mother seek a child from a river goddess |
Child from the River. |
They should be prosecuted and their children taken away from them. |
Why won't they. When we are too magnanimous in dealing with them. This is their way of promoting their profession after the federal government aided by the arguments of the minister of justice, Lateef Fagbemi opposed law makers move to prescribe the death penalty on bandits, kidnappers and terrorists on the floor of the Senate last year December. If we had the balls to make a terrorist sympathizer and someone who did not deny supporting jihad a minister of communication and digital economy we shouldn't be surprised when terrorist and bandits do any how. |
Those who initiated them ought to be investigated and prosecuted. Another question is, What is the essence of jailing terrorists. Why don't the law sentence them to death rather than hold them as a bond in exchange for school children and the vulnerable awaiting to be kidnapped by bandits who are good at negotiation. |
She enjoyed her life all the while. She fooled auditors and made them look stupid. She just show how easy it is to steal as an accountant. What exposed her was the vacation she went for. If not for the substitute that covered her desk the crime will be left unnoticed |
Whoever did this to this child has mental issues |
If this is how they easily release kidnappers we shouldn't be surprised on how the country is infested with kidnappers. Yet shocking is the presidency opposing the death penalty on kidnappers |
In 2010 we blamed PDP for our disgraceful performance at the world cup |
If he gets released or escape I am sure he will do everything to find his way out of the country to other countries where he will be safe and his services will be appreciated. I realized bandits started stepping up their attacks the moment federal government via minister of justice, Lateef Fagbemi opposed the law makers move to prescribe the death penalty to bandits, terrorists and kidnappers at the floor of the Senate last year December. |
He should be sentenced to date immediately. If not What the bandits will do is to kidnap School children or a general and negotiate his release |
2 years later after the iconic purchase they shot him mercilessly in his house. He failed to bullet proof his house even though he weaponized it with a machine gun startling his attackers when he took out one of them. When bullet finish that is when he understand the proverb, vanity upon vanity all is vanity. ![]() |
This are the people the presidency does not support a death penalty sentence on conviction |
It's obvious that they are short of ideas. Maybe its because is a crime to self defense that they are being so ridiculous. Invoking deities on criminals that carry big guns is a waste of time. |
That is blackyansh syndrome |
I don't blame her. I blame our leaders especially those that invest much of our country looted funds into their economy. |
This country is a joke. At the end they absolved the bandits and his kidnappers from his death by saying he died a natural death. Someone that served his country meritoriously! Chai. |
They made the right decision |
The news that Abacha died sweet everyone. A country President died and everybody was celebrating as if super eagles won the FIFA world cup. ![]() To me it looks as if he was assassinated |
One of my favorite actors. He is one of the best the industry ever produced. I really miss him on stage. May his soul rest in perfect peace |
Xenophobic attitudes towards other Africans is backfiring |
Looks like the venomous gaboon viper |
This statement is selfish. All his children Japa yet he say we should not Japa. But stay and be fighting for minimum wage. ![]() Tinubu will not become president it he had not Japa to Chicago and return back to the country to become President. |
As at December 2025 Tinubu presidency was pushing against death penalty on kidnappers and banditry. It's like this has emboldened the kidnappers |
So that's the reason they laid siege to the strait of Hormuz |

Other billionaires have given out like he does. Bill Gates for example has given away tens of billions of dollars through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and consistently sold off his Microsoft shares to diversify his investments, choosing philanthropy over maximum wealth accumulation. If Gates had held onto his initial 49% stake in Microsoft since its 1986 IPO, his estimated net worth would exceed $1.2 trillion a long time making him the world's first trillionaire. Instead, his actual wealth sits at roughly $107 billion, making him one of the most generous philanthropists in history. There are some billionaires that knows what they are doing with their wealth. |
TradingGod:Bill Gates even give out far more than Elon Musk and not much of it was announced to the world. Don't think Elon musk is the most generous among the billionaires because he donated $10 million dollars to Christ embassy. If Bill gates want to get to become a trillionaire he would have been there more than 10 years. I believe Elon Musk like Bill gates is not chasing that fantasy of becoming a trillionaire by becoming a Christ embassy top financier even though the church decided not to make contributors anonymous. You are like saying if he did not give out that amount to Christ embassy he will not achieve that Trillionaire status. If you are diligent in your work you will achieve more than expected |
I disagree with him on this. This man should direct his blame on NFF. Not on leadership. FIFA have made it a rule that government or country politics should not interfere with local football ruling body |
TradingGod:. I won't be surprised if one pastor attribute his wealth to that amount he gave. Infact they will say his trillionaire status was made possible by that $10 million. |
