Separation of north and south

It won’t happen because In Nigeria, Muslim North are the majority in the country.

Muslim India which is present day Pakistan was a minority in the Indian continent and the British allowed separation so that they won’t suffer abuse from the majority Sikhs and Hindus in the Indian nation. If they are the majority in the case of Nigeria they will not partition them. This partition of British India led to the creation of two independent dominions same day: India and Pakistan

This is in contrast to Nigeria where the Muslim North is the majority and the British merged both North and south together despite the religious, tribal, ethnic and cultural differences. If they partition Nigeria into independent North from independent south same thing happening to India -Pakistan relations can happen to Nigeria
