In keeping with his promise and in continuation of his unflinching passion for the well being of his constituents especially students welfare, the astute member of parliament representing Bonny constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly distinguished Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple JP has implemented payment for the first batch of the pioneer Bonny constituency Bursary Scheme.

Recall that this scheme is first of its kind by a state legislator in Nigeria, after a wide ranging and rigorous data capture and verification process of beneficiaries in schools across Nigeria, payment has been made to first batch beneficiaries, who were drawn up from the University of Port Harcourt, and Rivers State University in particular, in total over 100 students benefitted from the first batch payment.

It is important to note that the bursary scheme which is the brain child of the distinguished member of parliament was conceptualised to be part of his alruistic commitment to help bring relief and succor to students of Bonny extraction in higher institutions across Nigeria and also non indigine students who are resident in Bonny.

In continuation of his unflinching passion, uncompromised commitment and unimpaired determination for educational excellence for his Constituents, the erudite Legislator representing Bonny Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Amasenibo Hon Abinye Blessing Pepple have commenced the 2019 edition of Free Distribution of General Certificate Examination (GCE) Forms to his Constituents which will be shared to Wards, Churches, Mosques, Chieftaincy Houses, Communities, Non-indigenous Groups, etc, in Bonny.

This is humanely intended to enable Constituents access quality and quantitative education, and equally advance their academic pursuit.

Following the unprecedented success stories, tremendous impact and overwhelming testament recorded so far, as most beneficiaries of previous distributions are currently studying in various Tertiary Institutions across the Nation, hence the importance for continuation and sustenance of the initiative by "The Vocal".

Distribution commence today Friday 12th July 2019, all received forms are to be filled and submitted to the Constituency Secretary Soparagha Jumbo( 08131533021) on or before 4pm of Friday 19th July 2019 for onward processing.
