Politics / Nsukwa Clan Sets To Produce Aniocha South Local Government Chairman by Aristotle9Uk: 9:36am On May 10
In a bid to address the long-standing marginalization of the Nsukwa clan in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta State, members of the community have come together to demand their political right to produce the next Local Government Chairman.

The Nsukwa clan, which is one of the largest and oldest clans in Aniocha, has been consistently overlooked in the political landscape of the area, with power and resources being concentrated in the hands of other clans. This has led to a sense of disenfranchisement and marginalization among the people of Nsukwa.

In a recent meeting held by community leaders and stakeholders, it was unanimously agreed that it is time for the Nsukwa clan to have a seat at the table and have a say in the governance of their local government. They argue that it is only fair and just for every clan in Aniocha to have a chance to lead and contribute to the development of the area.

The demand for the political right to produce the next Local Government Chairman has gained momentum among the people of Nsukwa, with many expressing their frustration and determination to see change. They are calling on the government and political parties to recognize their plight and ensure that they are given a fair opportunity to participate in the democratic process.

As the clamor for political representation grows louder, it remains to be seen how the authorities will respond to the demands of the Nsukwa clan. But one thing is clear – the people of Nsukwa are no longer willing to be sidelined and are ready to fight for their right to be heard and represented in the political arena.

Nairaland / General / Ukwu-oba Youth Cries Out For the Brutal Killing of Oluchukwu Kingsley Nwaogo by Aristotle9Uk: 6:35pm On Apr 28
The killing of Oluchukwu Kingsley Nwaogo from Umuchi Quarters in Ukwu-Oba in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State in a site at Iselle Azagba where he worked as an electrician and alleged to link criminals who steal from the building is holistically condemned.
The brutal killing of Oluchukwu Kingsley Nwaogo is a tragic and senseless act that has deeply affected the Ukwu-Oba community. We are outraged by this heinous crime and demand that the Delta state government take immediate and drastic action to ensure that justice is served. It is unacceptable that individuals are targeted and killed for simply doing their job and we will not stand idly by while such atrocities occur in our community.

We call on the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into Oluchukwu's murder and to bring those responsible to justice. We also urge the government to take steps to improve security measures in the area to prevent further acts of violence and ensure the safety of all residents. The Ukwu-Oba youth will continue to stand united in our demand for justice and will not rest until those responsible for this heinous crime are held accountable. #JusticeForOluchukwuNwaogo #DeltaStateGovernmentTakeAction

The killing of Oluchukwu Kingsley Nwaogo from Umuchi Quarters in Ukwu-Oba in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State in a site at Iselle Azagba where he worked as an electrician and alleged to link criminals who steal in the site is a slap on the whole Ukwu-Oba youth and we demand that Delta state government and Nigerian government should take action immediately to bring the perpetrators to justice.
