His acceptance speech says a lot about his character. He thanked President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio, Deputy SP Barau, Majority Leader Bamidele, Governor Otu, his parents, his wife and his constituents — in that order — before talking about himself. He even quoted Isaac Newton on standing on the shoulders of giants. That is a man who understands that no achievement is built alone. Nigeria needs more of this kind of legislator. |
