TheSuperNerd: Kparobo Arierhi did what I expected him to do as a Number 9. Play for the team. Use your pace, power and ball skills to give us a fighting chance. He didnt score yet again yesterday but I see the desire to step up in big moments for the team.
Kparobo's strong CF play flooring and getting past a highly rated Aston Villa CB prospect, Yeimar Mosquera gave us the shooting chance to get the penalty Maigana won. More of such plays and desire by Kparobo and the goals will surely come. This is a young kid. A genuine 18 years old who is already up and running in Norway with goals.
I am not deceived by his lack of goals just yet. The desire is there and he is playing strongly for the team. Patience with the lad... I know what I see in Kparobo. He is the genuine article and in a few years, all will see what I see already.
#FlyingEagles2025 You are the only one reporting this player. Does NFF know about him? |

zuchyblink: It is worrisome that up to 60% of the "first-team" players in the Nigeria national team are "second-string" options for their respective clubs. A stark contrast to the 90s and even most part of the 2000s & early part of the 2010s.
Coincidently, the 2010-decade marked the last time the Super Eagles lifted an AFCON trophy, posed a real threat, and somewhat dominated games on the continent. It is no coincidence that national teams often mirror the weight and relevance of their players at club level.
While managers have a huge, huge role to play in teams, yet, managers are as good as the tools they work with—Ask the 'great' Carlo Ancelotti about his experience at Everton.
Yes, on paper, this Nigerian team looks spoilt for choice. However, before you jump up joyfully to celebrate these mouth-watering names, ask yourself - "How many of these players command starting and regular shirts in their respective clubs?"—Your answer is the "main" reason the Nigerian team is currently underperforming.
Soccernittygritty
Copied lies. The SE never posed any real threat in the 2010s. all they did was give us premium HighBP football |

Osebanjo: I just weak for those goons bro. Like Pedri would do everything. With Messi we chop 8 from Bayern. When a team is trash, it’s trash. To single out a player means being bias. I've never seen you here before. You must be an arsenal fan disguising as barca fan. Kindly unmask yourself for goodness sake |

majesticguy: I loved his performance in Lone Survivor and The Fighter. Lone Survivor was solid no doubt about that. He really carried the intensity and emotion of the story. But, The Fighter is hands down his best movie for me. He felt completely real there, quiet, determined, and full of heart. It wasn’t just about boxing, it was about family, struggle, and self-belief. You could literally feel the weight of every choice he made. That’s the movie where Mark didn’t just act tough, he owned and became the character. There is one i used to see everyday planet of the apes. I don't know if you've seen it |

jiggar: It has been a very long time I watched a movie where, the villain got what he/she deserves.
In some recent movies I've watched, the villain is almost always unalived by being shot, knocked done by a car or annoyingly, en. ds up in jail, regardless of the lives they have destroyed.
While watching Weapons, before the last 15 minutes, the movie was 6/10 for me.
However, when the film got to the last 12 minutes and the end, I quickly added another 2.5 making it 8.5/10, I was so happy with what those kids did to that witch.
The "dismantling' of the villain was satisfying.
This is simply "you get what you deserve". Do you think the defeat of the villain in every action movies is unreal? When you look at the fact that life is not black and white. Bad people get what they want most times. Oyaskii what do you think? You are stakeholder in the industry |

If you're a fan of Mark Wahlberg, you'd probably like this one..... just turn off your brain and enjoy. The film delivers a mix of action, suspense, and underworld intrigue. Your best wahlberg flick aside transformers? |

BlueRayDick: Shebi u watched the 2022 World cup, mention any RB u remember that performed better than Hakimi in that World cup.
What did Peak James do in 2021 that Hakimi hasn't done?
Picking a fit James over Hakimi is your prerogative as a staunch Chelsea fan, but most unbiased fans of football would pick Hakimi over fit James both offensively and defensively.
I already mentioned it in my initial response that Hakimi is not getting the hype because he plays in the French farmers' league but all the time he has played on the international scene and on the European stage there's been no doubt about his quality. Even a fit Ben white is better than James |
