AROCOM FOUNDATION - THE ORGANISATION
(I) TYPE: A nationwide large membership Non -Governmental and Non-
Profit making Organization.

(ii) MISSION: To promote the use of credit as an instrument to empower its members.

(iii) VISION: To bring socio-economic development transformations into the
lives of its members and the society at large.

(iv) AIMS:
- To promote free of interest loans and advances to members to effect positive changes in their lives.

- To promote unity, love, understanding and progress of its members.

- To promote economic empowerment and business skill development of its members.

- To promote self-reliance and dignity of its members.

- To promote National and International Networking for its
members.

- To promote the interest and rights of members and promote their general welfare.

(v) OBJECTIVES:
To create and maintain a forum for realistic socio-economic cooperation, development and enhancement of progress of members.

To maintain and preserve a forum for the purpose of creating socioeconomic conditions in which productive energies of members are harnessed and utilized for development.

To support and utilize existing Mechanisms of National, Regional, State, Local Government Areas and International Bodies to achieve socio-economic, cultural and political advancement of members and the Society at large.

To undertake other activities which are in the opinion of the Organisation ancillary, incidental or conducive to the attainment of the aforementioned aims and objectives.

(vi) CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP
There are two (2) categories of membership, namely;
(a) Ordinary Membership
(b) Corporate Membership

(vii) ELIGIBILITY OF ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP
Any intending member must;
- Be twenty-one (21) years of age and above.

- Be gainfully engaged in a well identified economic activity that is not banned by any existing rule or/and regulation in Nigeria.

- Be ready to pay a sum of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira Only) Ordinary Membership Enrolment fee.

- Register as member of the FOUNDATION and join any ASSOCIATE SOCIETY in the Foundation's Unit in his/her residential or business area.

- Be ready to subscribe affordable token sum of money to support the attainment of the Foundation's aims and objectives during the Society's meetings

- Be a suitable person to partake in the Organisation's empowerment project to enjoy the free of interest loans and advances of the FOUNDATION.

(viii) ELIGIBILITY OF CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Any intending Corporate member must;
- Be a registered business name or Private Limited Liability Company registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Be gainfully engaged in well identified economic activity that is not banned by any existing rule or/and regulation in Nigeria.
- Operate Current Account(s) in the name of the intending Corporate member in any of the Conventional Commercial Banks in Nigeria.
- Be ready to pay a sum N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira Only) Corporate Membership Enrolment fee.
- Register as a Corporate member of the FOUNDATION in the Unit of its business activities
- Be ready to subscribe affordable sum of money to support the attainment of the FOUNDATION's aims and objectives.
- Be a suitable entity to partake in the Organization's empowerment project to enjoy the free of interest loans and advances of the FOUNDATION.
