I understand Israel. If there is a Palestinian State, it means Israel will cede East Jerusalem to Palestine. They don't want this because Ancestral Israel is in East Jerusalem which is on the side of Palestine. West Jerusalem is with Israel.

Ancestral Israel has to do with those towns that are found in the old testament of the bible. In fact the bible!

Israel does not want to cede those towns to Palestine. Those towns are their relics, archive and spiritual attachment. Maybe if those towns were with Israel, I guess they would have allowed Palestine to go.
