I am so scared at the moment… today makes it 18 working days since I applied for my French student visa.

Have you gotten your visa?

@Manager007, I have been following your posts and comments on here, I can see you have really helped a lot in getting visits/students visa. Now my question goes thus: I have lived in South Africa for over 2 and half years with visitors visa, Though i have applied for permits but was denied, the last permit i applied for was work permit but was denied and i appealed via VFS few months back. I left the Republic for Nigeria over two months ago to quickly get some things done. I tracked my appeal application which i had with VFS in South Africa and it showed it has been dispatched so i told a friend to help me check from an Immigration which is an Insider. He told me my application has been approved. Now, i am planning to get a visitors visa so as to be able to enter the Republic and claim the Permit as soon as possible. Please this post is not only for Manager 007, anyone could please respond. Thanks

Well if it's been approved. Why don't you visit the high commission in lagos or abuja and see if they will issue you your visa here?

Hello house, I was refused a French visa and I want to reapply after two weeks of rejection. Pls advise.

Why do you want to apply again after only 2 weeksm Has your situation changed significantly since you last applied? What type of visa did you apply for?

Hello...Try not to stress about it....it would be fine. Do you have previous travel history? Did you apply in Lagos?

I have a friend that is travelling to China through Airfrance, he apply for B - transit Visa in france embassy so that he can do a bit of sightseeing in the city of france before the boarding the next flight to China. But he was issued A - transit visa which I think it strict him within the Airport..

Do you think the A -transit visa issued to him was as an error? Do you think he can still use the A - transit visa to do some sightseeing as well? OR reapply for a B - transit Visa?

I need candid advice..

Nope. He can't use the visa for sightseeing. If he wants to sightsee he should apply for a regular visit/tourist visa.

@Artlover, thank u so much for ur response. Pls I want to know how to go about d visa application, if d visa is sure after d payment cos I can't avoid to waste my money. Also the requirements for a short program and d minimum balance to ve in my account.

Hello. What program would you be studying at AUP? How many weeks or months is the program? Do you have enough to cover the cost of the program, housing etc? These are important questions you need to ask and am sure the French embassy would look at as well.

Plz I have a question. My agent said he needs photocopy of my waec and testimonial result . I want to know if it's necessary for France tourist visa. His plan was to take me along to France, he is my employer and am d employee. Or maybe he's just playing me
l.
Your agent sounds like a crook. You don't need academic results for a visit visa. Please be careful.
