walling to lintel level, the project is a duplex 5 bedroom duplex with a 2 bedroom unit behind on same foundation, the foundation and german flooring just got completed and we are at walling of ground floor to decking level since its still going up. So at we are at walling of down floor which is 3 bedroom all ensuit and 2 bedroom 2 bath. I was charged 270,000 for this stage with the rational that they only lay 70 block a day. The supervisor overseeing the projects kind of agree with them as to the 70 block a day which is why am seeking outside opinion. the supervisor/engineer said 3400 blocks is what is needed for this stage 3400 9' inch block/70 done a day=48.57 appro 48, 48 x 4500/day( 3500/bricklayer=1500/laborer, he said its a laborer to a bricklayer so he will use 3 bricklayer and 3 laborers daily). 48x4500=216000 + 56,000( filling of concrete in the column..36 column in all. please help me. i can upload the site work and plan .

Is it supervision fee u are paying d said supervisor/Engineer or u gave d project out as a contract....pls i need an answer to this before i can go further to answer u

I was once in your shoe,infact i knw of so many guys that served in that same company that i worked then & after their service yr they were retained & their salaries were 20k higher than mine. All d 'empty' promises made by my hod yielded no result until we were all asked to leave late last year because of poor mgt & they were unable to pay staff salary.( Though d company was a typical example of man know man)who brought u to d company or on whose recommendation were u given d job determined how much one would b receiving as salary.So just pray to God for a new job.....A schl cert holder( driver earns more than a graduate in most of these so called companies i am a living witness)

Thanks for your concern boss, I would have loved to work with you but that condition of work no pay is funny sir, though i love learning new ideas most especially from superiors in the field, I have voluntarily visited some sites & work with various Engineers with little or no pay in my undergraduate days because of my passion for the profession but not after 4 years of graduation.Tfare from ajah where i stay to ibeju Lekki everyday alone is.........Thanks afterall
