Poetry is a field where words "motor" The deep emotional contents of the mind. word-weaving is not a skill any greenhorn can just take-up. I didn't study literature in high school, my passion and deep love for writing has oiled my quil thus far.

as said before, everything in life has levels(You might be better because you have skill as opposed to a person without but with just my listed criteria. Some of the best poems are not so melodramatic. you didn't do literature but you apparently love English and there's a enough connection there(English & literature). I get you(developing bards) are offended because my words have reduced the work and creativity per se Y'all put in poesy. NO OFFENCE

If I write 'because' as ' b'cause' in a poem, I aint doing it for nothing, I kould be doing it because if not done, kould drastikallie keel the quorlitee of the poem.... You see, there's so much work than meets most eyes like yours...
Most times,I write poems in iambic metres. The respektive arrangement of stressed and unstressed syllable, and koined into the specifik style/length of chain, to kreate a standard rhythm. It aint beans, my friend.

If only you know that Andr.ew......Mar.vel didn't just write those words in TO...HIS CO.Y MIST.R.ESS, but he also worked towards arranging the metrikal chain for the reader's pleasure. There's more than meets the eye...

everything on earth has levels. 2. An average reader lacks half the sight of a bard. 3. A poet always respects the style of his fellow, no matter how mediocre(in terms of critics). And yes i know about iambic ish and the others.

I have had countless students that I taught poetry; I have kompared peoples wits and default presentations, etc...I have understood the human mind and behaviour to an extent. And I tell you, bro, with those recipé you listed, you kan still make karikature of poetry(and I loathe it when someone does that).

lol ironic thing about literature(poetry) is that it doesn't have rules per se(syntax, pun, inversion, anagram, malapropism, ellipsis, elision, etc). lol its soo friendly. you can't go wrong if you have all what I listed.
