Did you see the engine has a "TD" written there? That stands for turbo diesel. While TD engines are exceptional in performance, fuel economy etc, they cannot be used in naija. By the time you buy diesel few times on that car, all your injector system will be bleeped.
What we buy here as diesel no be diesel. Even the best quality diesel is adulterated to make more gain.

That's wrong, TDI- TURBO DIRECT INJECTION...This is a gasoline car.

Nope, Mikano doesn't "make" the cars. They are in an exclusive partnership with Geely to bring the cars into the Nigerian market.

Some of the cars are assembled in Nigeria though, with a plan to eventually assemble all here. Mikano invested in a big assembly plant from what I was told.

I actually visited the VI (Adeola Odeku) showroom to make an enquiry, turns out they aren't able to announce prices publicly, as the car hasn't yet launched officially (launch date is slated for the 27th of May). But this presale period is to see how well people respond to the car and an opportunity to give committed buyers the added incentives.

They hinted at the prices though, the Dynamic GS ( base model) will retail for between 13M and 14M, VAT Exclusive and the Sport Plus 9full option) will retail for between 16M and 17M, also VAT exclusive, but the prices are open for some level of negotiation during this presale period. I'm considering the base model as a company car, if a driver will be driving then the extra tech features like 3D model will not be necessary. Different matter if I was buying for personal use where I can enjoy my thing, then I'd go for the higher one. They are also offering payment plans through Access and Stanbic IBTC . Email them or call them, seems they are quite responsive.
