This thread is not intended to thrash or speak ill of any tribe. So please no tribalism here.

There is one particular tribe in Nigeria that is becoming a thorn on everyone's flesh. **** They are one of the most respected tribes in this country, but they have disillusioned themselves to belief they are being mistreated. They think they are slaves, but they are kings.

People from this tribe usually say something that vex people from my tribe. Whenever we hear them say it, we mock them in our heart but often keep quiet, because afterall we are one. Or at least, they think we are one. They have come to accept our kinsmen as theirs, they have come to accept our children as theirs, and above all, they claim our land as theirs. This is very annoying! We are two distinct people! Our differences are as plain as the Oasis of the Moroccan part of The Sahara.

But we love this tribe. They are very industrious. They are hard working. Their daughters are as beautiful as queen nefertiti. And mostly, they are good people, and very cheerful.

But all we say is this, IGBO is not Niger Delta!
Don't refer to us as yourselves!
Don't refer to our land as yours!
And above all, don't claim our Oil!

Last time I heard, IGBOs are minorities in Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers state. So please, where is this oil you always claim? And the thing that baffles me is that other Nigerian tribes have also come to believe the fallacy of IGBO oil.

These are the five IGBO states: Annambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu & Imo. And in all this five states, there is no single OIL. Or at least, no oil can be economically extracted.

The picture below shows a woman who threw N20 note on the ground and forced a small boy to pick the money for her and the small boy refused........passer-byes who saw what was happening then forced the woman to pick that money herself and immediately she turned to a tortoise and angry youth around made sure they killed the tortoise instantly. this story happened yesterday at School road by tetlow junction owerri imo state. Make enquiries to ascertain the truth if u are in doubt. so every body has to be vigilant.

According to Osun Defender, Onitsha police arrested 11 people after they discovered 2 fresh human heads in a hotel (name withheld) very close to the popular Ose-Okwodu market in Anambra state on Thursday

2 AK47 rifles and other weapons were also discovered in the hotel.

The arrest followed tip-offs from area residents on Thursday morning.

The hotel owner, 6 women and 4 men were arrested.

After police got access to the hotel, they made a startling discovery of two human heads wrapped in a cellophane bag, two AK47 rifles, two army caps, 40 rounds of live ammunition and so many cell phones.

“Each time I came to market, because the hotel is very close to the market, I always noticed funny movements in and out of the hotel; dirty people with dirty characters always come into the hotel.

So, I was not surprised when the police made this discovery in the early hours of yesterday,” said a vegetable seller in the area.

A Pastor who was among the people who tipped off the police on Thursday said: “I went to the hotel early this year, after eating, I was told that a lump of meat was being sold at N700, I was surprised.

So I did not know it was human meat that I ate at such expensive price.”

Last three weeks Thursday she went to surulere to see her friend who wants to take her to one organization for her IT, her friend is coming from berger while she was coming ebutemetta, they planned to meet in surulere. When she got there the guy was not there yet, so she decided to wait for him in shoprite. This young man came and see next to her he started talking to her, and she didn't reply. Her coursemate now called her telling her that their results are out. The man heard about it and asked her if she is a student, she replied yes and he asked her which school she is going and her level, she now told the man that she has just done with her ND, the man now told her that she must have been doing her IT, my sister now told her she is looking for placement the man now told her she can help her that she should give him her contact. When she got home the man messaged her that he is already telling people about her IT, that he will get back to her soon. The next morning which is Friday he called her that he has talked to his uncle who is a manager in a bank at broad street lagos Island and her uncle asked her to come with her credentials. When she got to broad street, she called the man and told him she is already there. When the man came he checked her credentials and told her she should bring her samsung S3 to call his uncle. She reluctantly gave the phone to the man. So the man pretended as if there was no network and he keeps stepping forward she followed her and she said the man does not look like a thief, that she does not want to approach him. And the man just run away....

I was scared to post this pictures the first time I came to my PPA due to fear of unknown...

but whenever I think of the future of the students schooling under this horrible condition,I think it worth the risk.

The school is just two falling buildings without ceiling and window which exposed students to cold whenever there is heavy rain and imagine a state secondary school wuthout a biology,chemistry and physics' laboratory.

They have been surviving with the help of corpers cos they have just 7 permanent teachers

And the most painful issue is that the research shows that the deputy governor of the state is from this community...so where is hope for the future.

I don't want anyone to view this issue from political angle but want us to make the changes cos the state of the school is a big slap on the government,commission for education,community leader and both senator and honourable representing this constituency.

Imo state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has jetted out of the country as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) beams the searchlight on the alleged diversion of over N2 billion from the bailout fund given to the state by the federal government for the payment of civil servants salaries.

The EFCC had rounded up three senior aides of the governor in connection of the diversion of the bailout money.

Those arrested by the commission included the principal secretary to the governor, Dr. Paschal Obi, who was until his appointment a deputy director in the Ministry of Health, in charge of optical services, Director of Finance, Government House, Casmir Uzoho, and Government House Treasurer, Iheoma Kenneth.

Okorocha, who had expressed regrets for accessing the bailout fund from the federal government lamented that the money had put the state in a mess.

According to him, the N26 billion the state took from the Federal Government that was used to pay agitating workers has put Imo in trouble as more money is being deducted from the state’s federal allocation than anticipated.
