Google Scholar Citations introduced very recently the institutional profiles for providing rankings of scientists who shared the same standardized name and email address of an institution. The total number of individual profiles is probably close to one million, while the number of universities profiles is over 5000, so it is possible to build a global ranking that, although still incomplete, can be representative at least for the best universities.

This ranking is an experiment for testing the suitability of including GSC data in the Rankings Web, but it is still in beta. The current methodology is simple:

1. Only institutional profiles are chosen. If your university or your faculty members are not included, please promote they set up (voluntarily) their own Google Scholar Citations public profiles with a normalized (official) name of the university in the affiliation and using the INSTITUTIONAL email address.

2. Data from the top 10 public profiles of each university are collected. This number of profiles is for allowing size independent comparisons.

3. The first profilte of the list is excluded for improving representativeness. For the rest of the top 10 (maximum 9 profiles) the number of citations are added and the institutions are ranked in descending order of this indicator. If there are several entries for the same author, only the best profile is used penalizing organizations that are not cleaning duplicates from the list. Non individual profiles (journals, departments, groups) are excluded, that means the number of entries computed are reduced.

4. The figures are valid only at the time of collection. We don`t comment on the numbers or absences. Please, contact directly with Google Scholar for any aspect related with its database or profiles.

GSC automatically updates the profiles that is very practical but that sometimes adds non-pertinent records and citations to the profile. Authors should be aware of these issues and clean their profiles periodically. Also institutions should monitor their members profiles for intended (or unintended) fake, incorrect or duplicate records. This is key for the ranking as any institution with at least one of these problems can be excluded from future editions of the ranking.

Hello fellow nairalander, today I want to list out requirements for setting up a successful CBT center.

I will like to break this requirement into the following parts.

1 - Infrastructure (Building, Chairs, Tables and few other thing)

2 - Technical (computers, servers, network design, electrical design, CBT software (this is necessary if you have a school and you want to be conducting CBT exams for your students), inverter, generator and few other thing

3 - Management (Man power that will manage the center during and after every exams)

I will start with the number 4 as this is the most important and infact without money, the dream of owning a CBT is a good as just a DREAM, the total cost of setting up vary depending on the capacity that you want, to set-up a 100 seater CBT center will cost more than setting up a 50 seater center, you can talk to us for a decent quote on 08039254192.

Infrastructure - here I will like to say that the size of your building will largely depend on the capacity of the CBT center that you want and I will advice that before you begin the furniture work, inspect the building if you're using an existing one to be double sure of the quality of the building. When designing your table and chairs I will suggest you visit one or two accredited CBT center to see how their chair and tables are design.

Technical- this is where a lot of people make wrong decision, I strongly you contact a professional when you to this stage, not just a professional but a professional who has done it before and it's working without any problem and a professional that will give you at least 6month free maintenance guarantee. as I said earlier setting up a CBT center require lot of cash, if at this stage you try to manage your resources by buying lower quality equipment (Believe me sooner you will re-buy those material)

Management - This is very important as all of the above mention steps because with poor management, the center is as good as it's never exist, look for a good computer administrator and 2 support staff.
