Choose some soft skills that you can build yourself in and learn it diligently. It could be writing, graphics design, or the more sophisticated ones like web design and programming. Then you can build your online presence to get clients remotely.

This is not something that will happen in some days, you need to be patient. But at the end it will eventually be worth it.
